Biggest piece of shit company I have probably dealt with in a long time. Sending me multiple notifications to refinance a car they then turned around and told me I can’t refinance. It’d be one thing if I approached them, but no, that was not the case. Emailing me, texting me, telling me they are going to call, then they don’t. When I was told you call them, I get sent to voicemail. Literally a waste of time. Avoid this company at all costs, I will be contacting the better business bureau about them.

The worst. First, they kept asking me for more and more documents. Three weeks had passed, they all of a sudden realized that my truck loan was done in Texas. I had to go to the DMV and get the mileage verified. A week after that, they needed an updated paystub, because the one I submitted a month ago was too old. I said enough. I went with another refinance company and they had everything done in three weeks. No trip to DMV, no submitting documents for a second time.

Very deceiving as to what you are looking for. Was shown as at least $140 less of a payment with 2% lower interest and then after the initial call it was only $40 cheaper with at higher interest and no gap insurance available. It also hurts your credit only to be told that you aren't really saving money.

If don't even do it, don't waste your time, they will run your credit for nothing, just to tell you there's are going to be the same interest and payments, just to let anyone know I have a credit score of 790 and nothing at all bad on my credit and they still couldn't come up with anything. So if you don't want you credit score to go down, do t do it . I don't wright reviews unless it real going to be bad for someone else. And I always try for other people not to get fooled.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I applied for refinancing as the “pre qualified estimate” for what I’d pay was great! Go ahead and apply and somehow the offer they decided to give me was double the length period and double the interest rate. After going back and forth with someone from auto pay, I was able to get another offer for 60 months. Went ahead and told him I’d like to pursue this refinance with the 60 months. Immediately then tells me that HE inputted the interest rate wrong on the link he sent me. Resulting in little to no difference in interest I’m paying now with my current bank, with the monthly payment going up. In the end I decided this clearly wasn’t the right place to go through for my auto refinancing

I applied twice with AutoPay to refinance my vehicle because they advertised better interest rates that looked like a great opportunity to save money. The first time I applied, I saw a rate lower than what I currently had. After submitting the application and speaking to someone, they told me they could only match my current rate—not lower it. But they had already run my credit, which caused my score to drop. A few months later, I tried again to refinance my Ford F-150. I currently have an interest rate of 7.77% for 84 months, and I saw they were offering 4.94% for the same term. It looked like a great deal, so I applied again. But once more, after running my credit, they told me they could only offer the same interest rate I already have. My credit score dropped again for nothing. This company gives misleading offers just to get you to apply, and they’ll run your credit without giving you the rate they advertise. I do not recommend AutoPay to anyone. Please learn from my mistake and avoid wasting your time and hurting your credit.

Had a terrible experience. Asked for tremendous amount of information for a small loan when I have excellent credit rating. It was if I was applying for a large mortgage. I hesitated to apply from a letter to apply indicating rate and savings. But then decided to give it a try. Before I even got information, they were talking about the negatives which would impact the rate. It was overall a waste of time!! I would caution anyone considering this service if you have other options and a good credit record.

The staff is helpful and the process is pretty painless. However, I was told my monthly payment was going to be one price and ended up being almost $100 more per month then planned. I was also told I'd be refinancing a certain amount, but then they added about $1500 on top of what I thought I was financing. I initially started to refi with Capital One but they were a 1% higher on interest. In retrospect, I should have gone with Capital One. Live and learn.

I had used auto pay for my loan refinancing a while back and it went seamlessly, but that’s not why I’m on here to review. My daughter needed to refinance her loan to get me off as the cosigner and because I had such a good experience the last time I sent her the link to apply She lives 2 1/2 hours away from me so coming down here to do this is not easy. They did not give us enough time. We had to redo it multiple times because they gave her false information and the paperwork was not right. It was the most excruciating experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend for the future, especially if you have a cosigner.

Holly at Auto Pay on behalf of Affinity Credit Union was extremely condescending and insensitive to me today over the phone. Auto Pay has inconvenienced me for months due to the DMV requesting a new POA and the company offered me $50 for the inconvenience in 2023. I responded and never received the documents. However, this wasn’t something as a customer that I believe I should’ve been responsible for, hence why I was offered compensation. I’ve been going back and forth to the DMV for months as they could not find my car registered in Georgia but only in Montana. I’ve never lived anywhere other than Georgia. Since January 1st. I haven’t been able to legally drive the car that I make payments on faithfully every month due to a mishap on Auto Pay’s or Affinity Credit Union’s end. Today after visiting the DMV I was told that I owe $610.25 to transfer the title. I called Holly as she told me she would call me back or have her manager call me to discuss how I can be compensated for this lengthy inconvenience. She laughed at me on a recorded line and said that I’m insane to think that they would pay my car off. She called me insane multiple times and said, “no we won’t compensate you, it’s your fault and I’ll disconnect the line if you keep yelling.” I explained that I wasn’t yelling at her and it was unfair to call me insane for requesting any type of compensation for this. I’ve been asking for months and I get ignored. Holly should not represent Auto Pay or Affinity Credit Union. I’ve been in management for 15 years and I would never talk down to a customer the way Holly did to me today. She laughed at me and didn’t empathize with me at all. She didn’t seem to care about me being inconvenienced and made it clear that she wouldn’t help me before hanging up in my face. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. It’s such a sensitive situation and customer service reps should be in place to help and serve not be rude and condescending. Please help me with this. She has since ignored me again after her manager told me to reach out to her regarding this matter. I reached out to her at 7:56am this morning and it took for me to reach out to her manager via text for her to respond 6 hours later. This experience has been horrific and I would love to please hear from someone.

. I had a very disappointing experience with this service. The customer service and sales representatives were overly pushy, avoided answering my questions, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Despite following their instructions, I went to three different notaries—FedEx, Proof.com, and a library—only to have each notary signature denied. This process wasted both my time and money over three weeks, with no sympathy or real assistance from their team. I expected better support and accountability, but instead, I was met with frustration at every step. The application had to be printed and mailed back each time for review which was costly and timely. My customer service worker had terrible response times and was very evasive. I would avoid the headache and go somewhere in person. I now have to fight this place to get my car title back because I’m canceling my application.

Entered all required "tasks" on online application. Then, got a text from a phone number I don't know asking me to spend another 10-20 minutes with him and enter yet more information. There are so many good auto loan refinance companies out there, PLEASE choose someone else. AUTOPAY is TERRIBLE! One department doesn't know what the other is doing. Communication was very bad, mostly non-existent. They will put a lot of hits on your credit report to find someone to approve your application. You could do that yourself. They are suppose to know what companies are the best based on your credit profile. We were approved quick but the process after that was terrible. After 2 weeks of calling and leaving messages, we were finally able to get a hold of a so called manager which was no help, just made excuses for everyone else. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH AUTOPAY.

Autopay dragged me around for a week with no contact. When I manually logged into my account and emailed them. They would respond telling me to call... I'd call then they'd give excuses for the delay. After two weeks of wasted time they tell me a refinance would almost double my 12% interest rate to over 20% that is the best they could do "sorry" and stopped contacting me. TLDR if your vehicle can't make them enough money they'll blow you off.

Luis M was assigned as my specialist, and we had a good start to our conversation. During our discussion, Luis presented me with the terms of a new agreement for 84 months. I told him I didn’t want a loan for such a long term and preferred to reduce it to 60 months with a lower payment if possible. If not, I was willing to pay the same amount or even a bit more but with a shorter term and lower APR. He said this was possible, and we reached an agreement. However, when I received the documents, I saw that the term was 84 months instead of 60. When I asked why it was 84 months and not 60, he told me I could pay more and close it earlier. I responded by asking why I should refinance at all if I could simply pay more on my current loan and close it earlier. To this, Luis couldn’t provide a clear answer. This was an extremely negative experience with this employee, who attempted to mislead me!

**APPLICANTS BEWARE** - Deceptive Application Process I recently found AUTOPAY via Bankrate and it was by far the most deceptive application process I have encountered while searching for an auto loan refinance product. The website requires you to enter all of your personal identifying information to populate accurate loan offers – SSN, VIN, DoB, etc. I was thrilled when I saw an option for refinancing that lowered my monthly payment almost $200. All my information was in so I submitted my application. BOOM. 10 minutes I received an email and text from the loan representative congratulating me on my approval. The loan representative and I then hopped on the phone and said "Congrats on your approval. We were only able to get you XXX terms, though, and that only lowers your payment by $30 do you want to proceed?". Excuse me? You just told me I was approved. My expectation was that I was approved for the loan offer presented to me and that I selected. NOT THE CASE. The entire process was deceptive and to top it off, the frat boy vibe from the representative was giving "I couldn't care less". So here we are. An approval on a loan that didn't exist and a hard inquiry on my credit. I would leave zero stars if I could. A complete farce.

This company gave me what looked like a great Refi option for an auto loan, told me I was pre-qualified and all o and to do was accept the offer. I did. After a hard inquiry on my credit they sent me offers that looked nothing like the original offer and where actually more expensive than my current loan. When I questioned it they told me the original offer isn't actually and offer it is an example of the best case scenario offer and that Autopay doesn't actually make the offers they are just a broker. So they make up something that looks attractive to get you to say yes, they run a hard inquiry in your credit and then give offers that look nothing like what they sent originally. This place is a scam 100%. I wasted days with a rep texting me all weekend to send me an offer of a higher payment and the same term but with supposedly 3% lower APR and their $549 refinance fee. How can you have higher rate, same term, and lower interest? The salesman seemed upset when I told him I wasn't going to refinance for a higher rate and higher overall cost and a $549 refinance cost. Bait and switch scam if the worst kind.

I found AutoPay as recommended on Credit Karma. I put in all my info and submitted all the photos they asked for. My account showed pending review. It dinged my credit report so I logged in to see that my status disappeared and said application cancelled. So I called today, they said they have my loan, but it was moved into another box and they will send it back to a loan officer to get into underwriting. Mentioned wanting $1200 upfront to move forward. I have over 720 credit score and it's a 10 yr old minivan. Seems a bit much. No one has called me on it. I literally just gave all my personal info out & let them ding my credit, and they can't even talk over options with me? I will be going elsewhere at this point.

Their website wasn't working so I decided to go with another company. A company who gave me a phone call before I even finished their application and was eager to help me. Instead of just sending threatening emails. Oh right, so they sent me an email threatening to give me a hard inquiry on my credit anyway because I "already filled out an application." Even though I hadn't yet because the website wasn't working. Seems like a great way to run a business. And someone with a pretty okay score it wasn't really a threat but just an admission of someone with too much time on their hands and a vindictive personality.

I tried to refinance an auto loan through Autopay. I almost went through but decided not to go through. The service rep who assisted me tried me to sign the paperwork as soon as possible without going through all the costs involved. He tried to pressure me to purchase GAP insurance when I wasn't interested. He didn't tell me that I would be charged a fee for their service which would increase my principal balance. I told him I wanted a 72 month loan. The paperwork he sent me was for an 84 month loan instead of the 72 month loan I asked for. Because of that, I had more time to review the paperwork that he was rushing me to sign and send back without giving me time to review. While he was able to improve my loan interest rate, it wasn't even the best rate available from that credit union. When I found the credit union he was refinancing my loan with, I went to their website and found an even better interest rate that he told me he didn't have access to. He withdrew the application when I contacted the credit union directly. It almost seemed like he wanted me to fill out and send him all the paperwork so I wouldn't have a chance to review what I am getting into. Some people had a good experience from this company so I may be the exception. Just be sure to read all the paperwork in detail and do not feel pressured to sign anything without fully understanding all the costs involved.

I financed my auto earlier this year when rates were very high. Due to recent rates decreasing, I visited Credit Karma and noticed they recommended Autopay for refinance. They had an advertised APR of 5.45%. After Autopay ran my credit multiple times, the best rate provided was 6.59% for 60 months. This was with an 821 credit score. I asked the Autopay agent, Jeff how this rate was so high compared to the advertised. Jeff relayed Credit Karma advertises these rates with nothing to back them. Due to the extremely high rate I decided to call around to my local banks/credit unions. I was able to secure a 4.49% at 60 months through a credit union. I advised Jeff of this and he was unable to budge from what he advised was an “excellent” rate. Furthermore, the loan had a lender document fee of $699.00, While my credit union charged nothing. I actually would receive $200 If I kept the loan for more than 6 months through the credit union. This was a learning lesson and it’s upsetting due to all of the hard credit checks now on my history. I would never recommend Autopay to anyone with an excellent credit score.

Please do not waste your time. This is coming from someone that was literally a loan officer before. The way they work here is extremely shady and very unethical. I got two approval offers and the loan officer Jay Allen failed to contact me and present to me. Those offers. I then later called and asked for a supervisor and someone by the name of Colin said that there is no supervisor that can help me. All this did was run my credit for absolutely no reason and the loan officers do not bother to call you if they think that it’s not a good deal. That is not their decision to make for you. For all they know the deal would’ve worked for me. Anyway, withholding information is wrong and unethical. Please do not even try to refinance with them.

This company is a joke! I received 3 hard pulls from my credit report and mind you I have a 790 fico score. I originally asked if they could beat my current 5.75% rate from a credit union and they said they also use credit unions throughout the US. So, I figured try to get it lower because I got my rate in July 2023 when rates were still going up, but because of my great credit I got a 5.75 rate. They didn’t guarantee they could get a better rate but I figured I’d give it a try. They then pulled my credit 3 times and I got a call from a Jonathan Mahlum to return his call because I have been approved for my refinance. I called him 3 days in a row and left means crickets from his end. This is a complete joke of a company. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!! Avoid the headaches and lies!!

I received a pre-qualified letter to refinance my current auto loan with a lower rate of 4.60, lowering my payments $367 monthly. I went on-line to see my off of which never came up and directed my to speak to someone. I told them about my offer and was told that they had to hard hit my credit report to check my qualifications and I would have thought that since the letter had my information they already had the answers but I agreed to them checking. Melissa with Autopay call today to say that the best rate that they have available is 8.25% and if I was willing to reduce my term to 36 months they could go to 7.75 which is still well above my current rate. After a hard hit on my credit, which can significantly reduce my credit rating that I have worked hard to maintain I feel that is is fraud and it should be addressed with this company and they should not be allowed to continue with this. I told the representative that this was fraud and she had nothing to say other than this is the best offer they had at this time.

They were not up front about anything! They had absolutely no communication until they found out I was willing to pay a down payment, then it was telling me what I wanted to hear until they got all my information as well as my cosigners then radio silence until we both started seeing hit after hit on our credit of hard pulls from lending companies. When I reached out to my agent I got no response just repeated hard pulls from the same companies, then they never did communicate with me but instead sent an email to my cosigner with an outrageous offer! Horrible customer service, very dishonest and not at all what I would have expected from a company dealing with Credit Karma. I was definitely disappointed and now I do not trust Credit Karma to give me honest deals. They never mentioned they were a referral company, only that this was the interest and possible payments "they" could offer.

Don’t bother with this company. They have a partnership with Credit Karma and recommend I refinance my Auto Loan with a lower APR showing an “Outstanding” approval odds based on my credit profile. After getting all my information, Auto Pay came back to me with some 8% APY and a much shorter term, which would only save me like $200. This was a big disappointment since there offer was for the same term as my current loan and a 6% APR. The loan officer I was working with was also condescending and rude. He kept trying to sell me extra products and loan insurance…. Not worth your time, I ended up refinancing with a company with more integrity.

This company loves to bait and switch. They entice you with lower rates via Credit Karma and then offer a rate nowhere close to what they are claiming. My credit score is 808 so it's not a matter of low credit. The agent tried to steer me to add certain things to the financing that I didn't want, and then questioned me if I even knew what gap coverage means. When I asked if I could put more money down he again tried to tell me well you can just pay the loan off early and "why would you even want to put more money down up front?" Maybe so I could have a lower monthly payment? He was condescending and then when I told him I wasn't comfortable with their terms he got angry and rhetorically asked me if I WANTED to stick with my current rate I'm paying. I would never accept an offer from someone who acted like that to me, especially not the one they switched to after baiting me to apply.

I feel like this was a Bait and Switch company. I had a letter with my name and my current car payment. Since I have excellent credit I thought it would be an easy process to receive their new “quoted” payment which was $66 less per month. I spent an hour filling out the paperwork and sending copies of my life. The next day I get a call and say they can’t do that deal. It is for people in “other” states. Then why send to me? And what states? Their real rate was within a quarter point of where my current rate is. The reason I even acted was because it had a great BBB rating and I thought it was legit. No more doing loans on line for me.

Worst experience I've had in a while. Horrible communication, claims my application doesn't exist yet I sent screenshots of everything, only wants to communicate over phone if they decide to return my emails asking for updates, took almost 2 weeks of me emailing for an update as I keep records of everything, docked my credit 47 points for running their credit check yet AGAIN claimed my application didn't exist. Refinancing and even buying a vehicle doesn't make a credit score drop 47 points. So now they have my personal information and refuse to have any conversations besides one that isn't being recorded or via email for record keeping purposes.

After receiving "Outstanding" odds of being approved for a lower interest rate car loan on credit karma through AUTOPAY, I clicked on accept and filled out all the forms, which ended up being a waste of time bc the agent Taffy just asked me all the same info again. After 5 days, she sent a fragmented text stating she couldn't "secure an approval that would help my financial" end. I asked if I would be receiving any information as to why, NOTHING. All I received from this offer was a -6 point drop in my credit score and horrible customer service from an agent with a cartoon name. NOT WORTH IT!!!

I did a mistake, on call their agent , who was not at all experienced gave me wrong information and false promise and run 'Hard enquiry' on credit. And when other agent talked to me he (Chistian C) mentioned that getting that rate which Merethah mentioned is impossible in this market. They don't have experiences agents. Please be very very careful before giving all your information in hands like " Merethah P" If you don't know the market please talk to your senior, I had requested her all information multiple times, And she was over confident. If you don't know your customer needs kindly don't play with our data. FRAUD!!!!!!!! BE CAREFUL customer!!!!!!!

Horrible, HORRIBLE decision I have made to refinance my vehicle using them. Long story short, my vehicle was considered a total loss 9/15/23. When calling around to find out how the process works with a third party refinance company, customer service is very incompetent, not helpful at all, and can be very rude!!! Every time I request a manager, I always get an excuse as to why a manager is unavailable. After my vehicle loss, I found out that AUTOPAY never did their checks and balances and made sure that the lenders name is on the title! For three months, I had to wait and get the run around about this Title ordeal! While Autopay continues to call me about a car payment. I do not have the car and if the ball was not dropped on their end, my insurance company would have been paid off the vehicle. It is now December, my vehicle is still not paid off! Autopay sent the LOG and title to my insurance company, however, Autopay failed to add the lenders name on the LOG. Now no one is answering the phone to give me an update on the fixed documents or lack thereof. BOTTOM LINE: Do not do business with this incompetent company which has a lot of different hands in the pot making them send you to 4 different departments just to get correct information.

stay away, fraud. major good/5 start reviews seem like automated. Website where they advertise the rate had 4.79% interest rate for 60 months for new auto loan that hyper linked to their website with interest rate of 5.69%. To look for rate they ended up hitting hard credit. then asking to submit all the forms as if I was agreeing to their loan with out knowing the rate. Additionally no one called me. so I called the number on the website to learn what was going on with my application. the agent on the phone did not know any thing about my application except they needed at least about a day for their underwriter to look through the information to come up with a rate. which was a surprise where other lenders could provide information in minutes right on their website with prior approvals. next day I called. The agent on line Ivan C did not seem to be interested in gaining business. had totally wrong impression of the purpose of the application. instead of reviewing everything he was stating that I needed refinance on my old car. explained to him that I am buying a new car. he was then like are you financing your leased car. again tried to correct him. He did not acknowledge that there was error in interpretation or offer even an apology. instead acted like it was all my fault. They had hard hit my credit. now provided rate almost 2 percent more than the claimed rate on the website. I am not sure if 12 year perfect credit with out any delinquency, 100% timely payment, no negative marks on credit, a stable full time job with over 5 years at current job, credit with 807 credit score cant get me the top in the line rate than what will? the person on the phone did not care at all. later closed my application notifying over the email claiming as if I asked to cancel my application without providing formal documentation of the interest rate approved etc. so do not have evidence to take any real legal actions against them.

Pre-qualification letters are all lies. They will use that pre qual to get you to call and give all od your info jusy to get you a rate that is TRIPLE what you were "pre qualified" for. Says its good for 45 days if certain criteria stay the same and thats a lie as well. It says they are BBB accredited and I showed a loan officer where thery are not BBB accredited, he conveniently ignored that screenshot. Just do NOT trust any mailer you get from this company, none of it is real. It's just a bait and switch to get you to call and give all your info over. They already had my SSN when I called too....didn't make me too comfortable having her tell me my number. Now they have hit my credit bc of this bait and switch and im stuck with a lower score and can't go to a really reputable company. Deceptive practices all around. I'm sure the "happy" customers just don't realize they've been screwed too.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry your experience with us was not what you had hoped. To explain a bit, the pre qualifications are based on a soft credit inquiry and are not preapprovals. They have very limited information to go by. Until a lender performs a credit inquiry, they do not have all the details necessary to make an informed decision on your potential loan. I would encourage you to give our escalations line a call at 1-844-290-5731 as we would be more than happy to discuss this in more detail.

waisted a great deal of my with a promise to refinance my auto loan. After awaiting a month to start my new lower finance rate , the autopay employ decided I was not an acceptable loan . this was after being told several times over a 2 week period that I was good to go and they were just waiting on the underwriters . Its very frustrating to be treated that way .I hope my personal information is safe with this company and that I'm not retaliated against for this email. David G Olympia Wa.
