My initial impression was, I should have done this a long time ago. I thought they were going to take care of things. However, after being told all the agents were busy and someone would call me back as soon as possible, and after a short time another person called and let me know how to get in touch with the irs. Thanks but I already knew that. I know I don't owe a huge sum and companies more than likely want to work with bigger debt for bigger profits but the least you could do is say so.

I was not happy with my rep. Based on her customer service I felt she was not experinced and I was not satified with her solution. after all the pmts and papers completed she offerred me the same thing that was on IRS website. I spoke with IRS and was able to set up a plan to get this bill behind me. I want 1/2 of my $ back from Tax Defense Network

TAX DEFENSE TOOK OUR MONEY AND FOR 9 MONTHS DID NOTHING . ENDED UP WITH A LEVY ON OUR BANK ACCOUNT, LIEN ON OUR HOME. HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER ATTORNEY AND COME TO FIND OUT EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE SPOKEN WITH SOMEONE AT THE STATE LEVEL AND IRS NO ONE FROM THOSE AGENCIES HAD HEARD FROM THEM. IF YOU WANT TO HIRE THEM GO AHEAD YOU WILL LOSE MORE THAN THE $6500 COST TO DO NOTHING.

It took over a year for them to understand I didn't have a personal tax problem, it was a business tax problem even though I had been telling them from the beginning. I had to contact them constantly for updates. They couldn't keep things straight and when questioned about mistakes or miss information I was blown off. After over a year and a half dealing with multiple people they terminated my case because I didn't respond to them fast enough. I have since caught them in a lie. My case was unusual, however it was not that complicated.

The lady dealing with our case was often rude and gave misleading info. We had the understanding that they could negotiate the amount we owed to the IRS meanwhile fees and penalties kept piling up and we owed more than we started with. We paid them over 7k to do what I should have just done myself.

once my initial caseworker left, the service was terrible. They missed a letter from the IRS and now they want to charge me another $5000 to fix their mistake. I am extremely disappointed. They didn't save me any money at all and I am still paying them for services and still have issues with the IRS

At first they told me everything i wanted to hear. Carlos (a tax consultant) was very nice to me and answered me when i needed him. Now that I've been assigned to my case worker (lawyer) things aren't the same. It seems as tho he's working for the irs and not me. I'm very depressed and overwelmed at this moment. Hopefully Carlos can call me back and he or someone else can look at my case.

If I could give a zero I would. They did not resolve my tax issues. All they did was put it on hold. I could've called the IRS and did that myself. The original agreement was going to be $5000.00 to get a payment arrangement or settlement amount. So there went $5000 down the drain. Switched bank accounts, and draft didn't come out for $300. Called again to let them know to take it out of different account. While I was on the phone I wanted a number to complain about my case. Would not give me a phone number until they took out the payment again. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I make a monthly payment of $297.05 to their finance company for their services. I thought they were supposed to shield me from the IRS. instead, the IRS started taking money from my social security check (334.00). Each month I ask if they've informed the IRS that they are representing me & have them stop garnishing my wages. I never get a straight answer. The IRS took money from me the last three months. If this happens again in May, I will fire them cause I can not afford$297.00 to them and $334.00 to the IRS.

I only contacted Tax Defense Network a few weeks ago. I was very impressed by my initial contact, but since then their main focus has been getting paid. When I returned a call from the finance representative I was put on hold for five minutes, at which time I hung up. When I signed my finance contract I discovered my first payment was due a week before I was sent the agreement. At this time I have no idea where I stand and my wages are still being garnished, for how much longer I have no idea. Be I feel like I might be better off trying to deal directly with the revenue services.

I was told that I could go directly to IRS page and make my own arrangements for payment, which I did. It was quite the process. I would not refer this company to anyone. Do not use these people. Payed 2000 in payout plan.After payed in full,they continued to take money out of my account until I put stop payment on them. They didn't do anything for me except setting up a payment plan to the IRS. No penalties or interest removed at had to pay in full what I owed the IRS. Talk to the IRS personally. Save your money or find qualified tax attorney to help you.

Unfortunately, my tax problems have been going on since August of last year and I've sent them $1,500.00 for 2 tax returns and another $1,800.00 for tax resolution with the IRS and we're going no where fast. The people are pleasant to deal with but there's always another piece of paper they need and then it's another form they need - it just goes on and on and nothing gets finalized or finished. I never dreamed this was going to go on this long.
