I used the number provided by the IRS to get assistance. I was told I had to PAY over $800 to examine my situation with the IRS. I owe the IRS. Why am I paying more to a government contracted agency even more to assist me? I expected advocacy but didn''t get it.

I did a lot of the work. I called them a lot and never got return phone calls. Once you're done, you're done. Even if you feel that you still need help, they don't help you and they want you to re-sign up again and start your case all over again.

Doesn''t practice what they preach, have dealt with them for going on 3 months now and I have lost my car, my childcare, my spouse, and the verge of losing my home. Due to their repeatedly broken promises, not to mention high cost. They promised me time after time that they would resolve a issue by a certain date and never came through for me. I wouldn''t wish my enemy to go through this.

they did nothing for me. charged me a lot for a little. didn't save any money on taxes and ended up poorer after starting to pay them. they were supposed to include the current year taxes but didn't after I sent everything in and was told they would take care of everything. they wanted over 700 dollars to file a short form for a single retired taxpayer. would never use their service again. go to a local tax attorney. you'll be better off.

I contracted with tax defense 1 1/2 years ago. No resolution eas achieved and now i have a tax lien garnishing my paycheck. The IRS is taking my entire check and leaving less than $100 a week for me to live on. All of my bills are delinquent and my insurance was cancelled because of failure to pay. I will lose my job soon if I cant get to work and perform my job duties. I am still in contract with Tax Defense but at this time I can not pay that bill each month either.

Totally disappointed

Slow response times, poor communication with their clients. I have to initiate follow-up. Incorrect information on tax returns. I have an expensive contract and totally disppointed with their services. I would not recomment to anyone.

They were horrible. My case was so badly handled by the first "expert"that it was given to someone else who equally screwed it up. Even after signing papers and being assured that the irs wouldn't come after me they did. Then it was scramble scramble scramble to get something put in place. I contacted the bbb about the horrible knowledge that the professionals had.

They didn't do anything for me. Everything they promised me at the beginning they did not fulfil. They wound up just doing a payment for me and that's something I can do on my own and they charged me $4,000. When I asked for them to return my tax papers I had to wait, and I still haven't received everything in totality. They misrepresented it themselves and took advantage of me. It's the worst decision I have made.

TDN promises to negotiate you a fair and lower tax bill. Although did for me was get my tax bill increased by $10,000.00. When I signed up they told me they would go through my tax preparation agin to see if they could do better. They not only didn't go through my tax filing they lost my taxes papers, didn't file my taxes until a year after they were due when I had signed up with them a month before my taxes were due. The is the sorriest excuse for a business I have ever heard of in practice.

I don't think they did all they could for me. They said that they would add my 2017 tax in with my other taxes, but they did not. I R S sent me a letter stating that we had to pay over $600.00 by July because they didn't do my 2017 tax correctly.

They said they would take care of our taxes but it was all a bunch of lies. Everything they said turned out to be false. All they did was put us on hold for so long that interest rates just doubled and that didn't help us get anything resolved. We ended up paying them $3,000 and end up owing $10,000 more. We could've done it ourselves since they didn't do Jack. We got no relief.
