I was given misleading information when I originally spoke with the Sales rep that convinced me to sign up. Once I became a client; the agents that assisted me were very casual with following up with me. Thank n several occasions, I had to reach out to them for updates instead of them keeping me informed. I even experienced an incident where I requested a manager to explain my concerns and the manager said she would check into and get back with me the next morning. She did not call that morning and that day. She called me 2 days later. I was very dissatisfied with the manager following suit with the other 2 agents.

i hired Tax Defense to handle two issues. I had student loans that were in default. And I had federal tax debt. They handled the tax Debt first. I begged them to handle the student loans first. I wanted to buy a house. I knew the taxes would be fairly simple because of the Cares Act. But they felt that because my student loans were not being garnished anymore that they weren't really a priority. So they did those last. And when they did do my student loans, they didn't really do anything for me they just made a referral to William F. It looked like they were doing something, because I filled out all the paperwork for an income-driven program in a consolidation program Etc. However because my loans were in default they needed to be rehabilitated first. Getting my student loans together on my own was a nightmare. They charged me between 5 and $700 for the resolution of those and they did nothing for me on my student loans.the taxes were awesome.

Even though they were easy to contact at a break, nothing happened for about six weeks. We had to constantly follow up with the status. They would request docusment that we already sent and getting to the resolution, originally they said three to six months and it took about ten. I think we've got the resolution that we needed but it just took too long. They had to switch from one person that left the company and no one that replaced them was able to see any of the documents that we previously sent. It was just totally breaking down when they had to put somebody else on the account and it was like we started all over again.

Mainly I am pleased so far. Some of my things are up in the air that the government hasn't finished processing on there. I am pleased enough right now. I was very displeased at the beginning with the people that worked there. I feel like probably some others would have moved faster. They seem to do very well and do what they're supposed to do when I hired them, but with the first people I didn't have anybody working for me. It felt like I was on a back burner until towards the end of the involvement when they put me with a different team that actually followed through. They need to get on the work quicker and insure that all of their employees are responsive and not just the ones at the extreme crisis end of it.

I had issues with the IRS that I've had for a while and when I first became an associate with tax defense network they were the first one to help me out to try and get my situation straightened out. I'm not impressed with the type of service from the people there. If you would have asked me this 2-3 years ago, I would have said exceptional service. I had to pay additional to process my taxes this year. I did not have a very good experience with some of the people that work there. They were a little rude and are just not the same faces when I started 3 years ago. I'm not so thrilled and I might not be with them much longer.

I had gotten behind on my taxes so I was looking for an alternative. I didn't really do a lot of shopping, I just found them and we went on. There were a few parts, especially when it came to state taxes, that I had to go back and handle on my own. That was a bit disappointing. When I originally went to them they should've been upfront about that. Instead they told me that I would just pay an amount and I would be 100% tax free. That just wasn't true. If I need something from them I have to schedule an appointment so they will call me back. So whenever I had a major concern I wouldn't get immediate responses, I always had to wait. There were also some questions that came up but that they didn't handle. The results are not out yet, I'm still paying them and waiting to get a response back from the IRS to see if it really worked.

I dont believe the person taking care of my case had my best interest in mind other than her own. I was ignored when i needed them the most but i rarely got any response after i sent in the requested papers and information. I was told to get certain papers and i sent everything they asked for by phone and when they didnt get everything they asked for they closed my case. Of course everything that she asked for was given but she sent me the notice to cancel my case on friday at about 4:30 on her way home for the weekend and there was no way to contact them until monday. She also told me another time that the state told them that i spoke with them and canceled my power of attorney and it had to be sent back in which cost me a lot of time. They know i never talked to the state everbefore and there is no way that i did it that time. I think they just dragged their feet long enough that the power of attorney expired. This caused enough time for the state to hand over my case to a collection agency and then i was told that there was really nothing more they could do for me. So i had to make settlement arrangments with them and i didnt get any kind of break whatsoever. Now im practically homeless until i find a way to make the payments. I feel that if they spent more time and actually showed an interest in my situation things would have turned out differently. Even when i called and left messages or sent an email i got no response for about a week or so.

At the time I had a large outstanding tax debt that I wasn't aware of. I wasn't really comfortable contacting the IRS directly, so I went with them. They were very responsive and were always able to perform on the task that we needed them to. If I ever left a message they would respond as soon as possible. I would get a good perspective on everything that was going on. The only thing is that, even though I understand that all services are kind of like this, the additional amount to pay was too much. I mean, the debt I had was already insurmountable and having an additional one didn't help me much. Plus I was never advised that I could've done all of this myself directly with the IRS. I'd encourage others to look for additional ways to work around this. I'm not 100% satisfied with this.

I'm still waiting for more answers about the amended taxes That the IRS claimed they never received back in 2013. I sent you guys copies of them to resubmit but haven't heard anything on this. Last contact with me was May 21st. I received papers from the IRS stating I still own for 2013 and it's wrong! They are nothing special. I got be on a payment plan but the issue I'm having right now is that everything was resolved for thirteen hundred fifty dollars but basically nothing went through. I just wish that they would have told me up front what it would have been. I guess was disappointed. the person assured me that everything would be okay that that interested penalties would be waived but they were not so.

I rated them a three because I needed to work with numerous people during the process. Each time I was working with a new person, I needed to duplicate information that I already sent in to them. At times, the new person would want me to almost start over and I needed to let them know that I already supplied that information and went through that step.

I signed up because I was hoping that they could lower my total tax amount that I owed primarily. They did help me lower my monthly payment on the agreement that I had with the IRS but they didn't help get rid of any of the penalties over and I still owe the IRS a fair amount. I expected more from them. I am not totally pleased, I thought they could do more for me than what they did.

I paid 1800.00 to find out I still have to pay the 12,000.00 plus interest for insurance that I could not afford in the first place, because I borrowed 2,000.00 over poverty level from my retirement. When I was looking online they had the better rating so I went with them. They have been very responsive in general and when I called with any question they would always answer right away or call me back with the answer. The service itself was ok. I went with them since they had the lowest cost and offered me the most lenient terms. At first I thought I had a full tax relief service for penalties abatement and everything, but I found out all I had was the filing service. Sometimes several weeks will go by without any kind of interaction with them. I wasn't always kept up to date on exactly what was going on with the IRS. Right now I'm completely up to date with my filing but I don't feel like they helped me mitigate the fees and penalties.

I had taxes backed up that I needed help with. When I was able to get a hold of them they were helpful. Sometimes though it would take over a month before I got a response or reply from them. Whether it was about them receiving some paperwork or something else, it took them a while to contact me. Because of that, the process that I hoped would only take two or three months ended up taking almost a year to get resolved. I wonder if I would've had better service somewhere else, but I don't know. Poor communication was my big problem with them.

I was listening to a TV. broadcast and they came up. I needed the type of job they did and since I knew they obeyed taxes I decided to go with them. When I first went through I actually went through 3 or 4 different case managers. For the first six or eight months, every time I called they would tell me that that agent no longer worked there and that I had a new one. In the end I got a very good case manager and she took over my case and got me good results. She did an outstanding job.

We were desperate. The IRS did not agree to the terms of our tax reduction but that was beyond our control, I had an issue before I wasn't aware of. It is a good company. They were very helpful and they kept us in the loop. I got emails letting me know what the status was.

Everytime I called them, they were always supportive and set me up with answers. The first guy I talked to made it sound like I going to ask anything and they were going to settle everything for me. Nothing got settled with what I thought they explained to me in the very beginning. I was not very satisfied with the results.

I didn't like the fact that they went through more than one person that I was dealing with, basically they change the person that I was working with a few times. I thought they could have done a better job, like other places were saying that they could relieve you of some of the the amount of tax, instead of going the route that they went to.

They said they could stop my taxing and resolve my tax debt, so I went with it. When I initially talked with them I was assigned a tax agent. That fell through and they never contacted me about it so, in turn, I ended up with some problems as a result of their miscommunication. In the end they got the job done but not like they said they would.

Very little comunification of what is going on. Never had any written results of any comunifcation from them to the IRS. I just recived a bill from the IRS and thought I was told I was uncollectable. Very expensive. Did not go the way I wanted. I wanted more of a smaller payout and a mounthly installment. Many other things.
