The Good
- Large viewing selection
- Features and perks
- Discounts and free trial
Selection
Amazon Prime has over 4,500 movies and television shows for you to choose from.Additional Perks
Members of Amazon Prime also have access to Prime Music, Prime Photos, Prime Pantry, and Amazon Elements. Customers also have access to free two day shipping on all orders marked with the special Prime icon on Amazon.com.Parental Controls

Amazon offers a 30-day free trial to potential customers, allowing them to try out Amazon Prime before making a final decision. Amazon Prime has so many great aspects to their service. For $99/year, subscribers pay less than $9 a month for Amazon Prime's services. This is a very reasonable price for the streaming tv industry. In addition, Amazon Prime gives its members the option to pay a small fee to watch newer/more popular releases so they don't have to wait. Overall, from the large library to the additional Amazon Perks, this service has many great benefits! The Bad
- One time large fee
- Can have additional costs
- No personalization options
One Time Large Fee
Although, if broken down, Amazon Prime's fee is less than $9 monthly, having to pay $99 all at once can be a lot. Amazon Prime doesn't provide a monthly payment option for members.Additional Costs
Although Amazon Prime releases content quickly, members have to pay to watch newer episodes & movies from popular series. Costs range from $1.99-$2.99, and movie rentals are $2.99-$6.99.Personalization
Amazon does not have as many account personalization capabilities as some of its competitors, such as Netflix. Although Amazon Prime has many great features to their service, they do have a few drawbacks, as you can see. Amazon's main drawback is that you have to pay for an entire year up front, which can be a high price to pay for some people. In addition, they don't have as many personalization controls as Netflix. The Bottom Line

I'm new to streaming. I was happy with On Demand, but COVID-19 gave me more time to waste and I got hooked on some of my favorite authors' books to screen , like Bosch. I have found no problem with Amazon and the content keeps giving me new shows in the genres I like. All my friends can't afford the annual fee, so the "9" rating below

I am an older guy, right now cannot drive due to medical issues. I have been using Amazon Prime for a long time. I also use Walmart bit that can be a little bit more work, but still very useful. There is no way to get around the products and Service Amazon provides. But, I try to stay with purchasing within Amazon's inventory, avoiding outside sellers when possible. But even with outsiders products, when there is a problem, amazon is amazing at handling returns. Good products and usually best prices. Plus, although I hear Amazon's workplace involves hard work, they employ a lot of people! I do not use their food market service. I want to look at what I am going to eat, before I buy it. I have heard it is pretty convenient but not real competitive yet. I use Walmart In-store shopping for fresh food items and delivery on things like bottled water, sodas and some packaged foods. But Amazon's delivery is amazingly fast. Additionally, if the item is not a stocking item, it still makes it to my home fast. Years ago Mom and Pop, local stores were part of a community. Small Town Stores were great, but limited. I do miss neighborhood stores but time moves on.

Trinity Solar and Sunnova are fantastic when it comes to installing solar systems. I recieved exceptional communication by email from start to finish. All questions along the way were answered...didnt have to ask much as answers were usually in the emails. Wonderful installers which had the system up in 5 hours and cleaned up well. Sunnova informed us of our tiny bill for the first months electricity over a week in advance.
We are already seeing a significant decrease in our Duquesne Light bill.
I encourage all to go for Solar with these companies if you are tired of feeding the electric companies hundreds of dollars especially with air conditioning running !!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat !
We did not pay for anything but our electric bill which went down by 50% the first month !
The entire experience was awesome. No hassle ...no demands...the company took care of everything including permits and set up along with Duquesne Light so what are you waiting for !!! Call Trinity Solar and get started !

Hi 🖐️, I'm Roy and I want to share with you my review on Amazon Prime after 3years of been a member.
Amazon Prime has revolutionized the way I shop and consume entertainment, combining convenience and quality seamlessly. The expedited shipping benefits alone make the Prime membership worthwhile, with consistently prompt deliveries that exceed expectations.
The streaming service, included with Prime, boasts an impressive library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The diversity of options, coupled with the user-friendly interface, ensures there's always something for every mood and preference.
Prime Video's original productions, in particular, stand out for their high production values and compelling storytelling. The integration of exclusive content adds significant value to the overall Prime experience.
Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in its reliable customer service and hassle-free return process. The inclusion of other perks like Prime Music, Prime Reading, and exclusive deals during events like Prime Day further sweeten the deal.
The convenience of one membership encompassing a variety of services, from shopping to entertainment, makes Amazon Prime a must-have for those seeking efficiency in their daily lives. It's more than just a subscription; it's a comprehensive lifestyle upgrade.
In summary, Amazon Prime has become an indispensable part of my routine, simplifying both my shopping and entertainment experiences. If you're looking for a service that delivers on its promises and enhances various aspects of your life, Amazon Prime is the gold standard.

Amazon prime is a very reliable service that all my family uses all the time. We have recently benefited from the additional perks of being a prime member, such as video service streaming, as well as music specific to Prime Video I believe there could be more options and variety in terms of content. These perks help balance, the cost of the subscription, which has recently gone up considerably. However, when put into perspective, the shipping for items would be a lot more if you were not a prime member in the long run.
I believe it’s also important to mention that Amazon prime has the best absolute customer service that I have ever experienced. Every single operator that I have come in contact with is always looking for a way to improve the customer experience. Even at times when sellers are not as amicable.

Prime membership leaves me with no guilt for money spent whatsoever. The benefits of expedited free shipping alone are a slam-dunk, but the video component is so broad and deep, and being Amazon latency-free, I can't imagine doing without.
I am distrustful of Amazon and all of these megacorps, but you can't dismiss the result, the product delivered.
On our Rokus, Amazon gets the vox populi. There is no wait for it to snap to 4k, and there is no loading lag. Now we have an Amazon TV to go with our nice neat little collection of Alexa devices.
I wish, how I wish they would buff Audible-Prime cross-subs.

Overall I find Prime's platform really easy to use and non-glitchy in ways you don't see from other streaming services (HBO Max comes to mind as particularly difficult). My favorite part is that it shows you the actors that are in the scenes, as well as I believe music? I'm constantly being like "where have I seen that person" when watching TV and so I feel like this feature is meant for those of us who are really into it. The only complaint I have is that I don't think that Amazon has enough good original content - Mrs. Maisel is the only one that comes to mind and I honestly think it's just okay.

I adore Amazon Prime for its originals (Namely, "The Boys") and its wide variety of streaming options. Even without paying for the channel add-ons, there is always plenty to watch and I have purchased and rented a lot of titles from its extensive library.
The common frustration with this platform, as with Hulu Plus is the fact that there are some titles you can't even purchase as a one-off because you HAVE to add a channel to watch it. That part is frustrating, because the biggest upside to Amazon Prime Video is being able to choose between already-available titles and one-off purchases and rentals. First world problems, but ultimately, I plan to keep using Prime Video for the foreseeable future, since I already utilize several of Amazon's offerings.
Check. Out. Their. Originals. There is some really amazing content and, again, if you are already a Prime member, it is most certainly worth the time.

I really like Amazon Prime. I think it's worth the money to be able to get free 2 day shipping. So often I need a birthday present or a wedding gift and I don't think about it early enough to be able wait for regular shipping. Also when I order something for myself I want it right away. Even 2 days can feel like a long time when you want something. We have one account and several members of our family share it. We have to use the same user name and password but it makes it even more worth it with various people using it. Returns are also easy. A few clicks, you print out a label and mail it back. For some items you do have to pay return shipping so be aware. Another perk is Amazon Prime Movies. I pay for Netflix but I think Amazon Prime has a different and better selection of movies/shows. Not all movies are free on Amazon Prime but they have a good free selection.

There's a reason the "user score" for Amazon is so much higher than with Netflix. Actually there are *several* reasons they are rated higher, and first is value. You get a TON of features for less than 9 bucks a month. I like Netflix but it doesn't give me a huge chunk of cloud storage for photos, music, and ebooks. Nor do I get all of my music on my PC matched in the Cloud. Or a music player to go with, that gives me access to free albums, songs and mixes. And I don't get Ebook conversion and storage for my ebooks, or access to millions more ebooks to add to my library. And Netflix certainly doesn't give me an excellent Ebook reader to go with. All that, and I hardly need mention the free 2 day shipping on gobs of stuff in thousands of categories.
None of that is really about their movie service, but for the price Amazon gives so much more. And since they have made the deal with HBO, there are shows that I can't get on Netflix. Amazon has quality movies, great shows, excellent streaming applications and top notch customer service to go with all the other membership perks, and it makes joining a no-brainer. I love Netflix...but if I had to choose only one? Well, it's no contest.

I love Amazon Prime, living in a rural area, I do not know what I would do without the services that they provide, both in streaming and in the online shopping experience. I purchase most of my household items and many of my nonperishable goods from them, in addition, I would estimate that over 90% of all of my gift purchases are made through Amazon Prime, as well as most of my purchases for my work as a teacher. I can always count on them to have the best products, highest quality, and quickest delivery.

I have had Amazon Prime for years, and I love it. Recently had financial problems because of family health issues and had to cut back but I refused to give up Amazon Prime. I watch Prime videos almost every day. I like having free shipping when I order on Amazon, which I do a lot. I will admit that I don't take advantage of all Prime has to offer, but I am very satisfied with the parts of the program I do use. Highly recommend!

Our family loves Amazon Prime! It's great, affordable, entertaining TV shows and movies! We find ourselves over indulging in some terrific original series/movies, and oldies but goodies. Best part is that we can log in ANYWHERE we are to watch our favorite stuff! I'm also a compulsive shopper, so Amazon Prime saves me money and I love the fast, free shipping!
Thank you for ALWAYS giving us great shows to watch at an afforable price!
Highly recommend! A+++++

I get Amazon prime video free with my Amazon prime card every month! It is extremely worth it because there are so many choices on this service to keep you binge watching until your heart is content LOL
It is definitely worth the subscription price monthly especially when certain things are only streaming on prime and nowhere else! They have some excellent content that no one else has and they get it before lots of other services so do yourself a favor and subscribe to Amazon prime video today!

Being an Amazon Prime member, I certainly enjoy my Amazon Prime video shows I watch. I’m an avid movie watcher, and if there is a movie I like, I have been known to watch it up to 6-8 times. Amazon Prime has so MANY great movies and shows to choose from, it’s not a problem to find whatever type of show you like, action, thriller, drama, family, etc. I do not see my household ever not having Netflix. Our whole family always can find something they enjoy☺️

I truly do love having Amazon Prime! This amazing movie streaming service comes with a variety of Prime member benefits; such as fast/free shipping on your Amazon Prime purchases, exclusive shopping deals, plus total access to Amazon Music. For the shop lovers having Amazon Prime is well worth the monthly cost of $14.99 but Amazon Movie streaming services offer an excellent selection of shows and movies the whole family can get into. For all it's many perks and affordable cost I would highly recommend checking it out!

I love Amazon Prime, I've been a member for years and I do not see that changing anytime soon. Amazon Prime is a membership which pays for itself. I take advantage of the shipping feature which allows me to time the arrival of my deliveries perfectly. For my viewing pleasure, Prime programming offers a lot of recently released movies in additions to prior seasons of TV shows that I have missed but would like to catch up on. Although the membership increases over time like everything in life, I truly belief that the benefits increase as well as they are consistently making improvements.

Great service, and WHO doesn't have Amazon Prime anymore?
They have completely monopolized this game and it's everywhere!
2 day delivery is great! Free Returns is better!
But I do NOT trust Amazon Reviews, and if you're their customer, you know what I'm talking about. I have had some companies when shipping out their product, they offer incentive ($10 amazon gift card or something similar) to write a great review of the product on Amazon. And boy oh boy, are people making that happen. Amazon is trying to combat this problem but I don't know how it can completely eradicate it.
Prime Video is great! They have some good shows/movies but their UI is terrible.
I find it difficult to go forward or rewind through portions of the video I'm watching so I am not using Amazon Prime Video THAT often.

I think that the value for the Amazon prime membership is fantastic because people know it best for the free shipping on Amazon, which we use extensively, But it also includes Amazon prime TV streaming service and free ebooks! We add on the Amazon music and love that as well, but overall we average out the annual fee monthly and budget that way and find it to be extremely reasonable!!

I absolutely love amazon prime. You really get your bang for your buck. At first I was against it, because I thought it was silly to pay for a service I might not use but once or twice a year, but it turns out, I shop online way more than I had thought, and especially after Covid. Not only do you get free 2 day shipping on prime orders, Amazon really sweetens the deal by throwing in prime videos (currently my favorite streaming app), prime reading, prime music, and participation in prime day.

Amazon Prime members (like myself) allows me to receive discounts on my Audiobooks as well. I get a discount for Prime just by being a college student, which helps me a lot with delivery on textbooks and just receiving my Amazon deliveries a lot earlier than others.
The Amazon Prime movie selection is elite as well. I think they are the only platform that shows the movie, Knives Out, which is one of my favorites.

Customer service is so amazing. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They are so understanding and nice to speak with. They are patient and so helpful. The return policy is so great. With prime you don't have to pay return shipping and you can have UPS come pick it up at your door. There is access to prime moves/TV. I finally got to watch House M.D. which I was so happy about.

I absolutely love amazon prime video!! Their customer service is prompt and attentive and they have such a broad selection of movies that you can really find almost anything that you are looking for. I love how you can choose to buy or rent the movie in different formats. I can watch on my smart tv or my phone and they have so many great shows and movies that come free with the amazon prime membership as well! They do a great job with rotating things in and out based on popularity for the selection that comes free with the membership.

Amazon Prime Video has to be one of the best film purchasing services. Did you ever have that spur of the moment when you wanted to watch a video or movie instantly but didn't have access to it? Those days are over. With prime you can watch your favorites instantly with little cost to you. I remember having to watch a movie for an exam that was super expensive everywhere else but only $10 on Amazon. You can't beat that.

I love Amazon Prime. They have great access to free movies you can stream, along with free music & free 2 day shipping. Also, every time I bought something from Amazon & it never came or there were problems with shipping they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS gave me a refund. Customer service was superb. I’m currently in Canada & Amazon Prime here just isn’t the same as it is in the States.

I only was a member for 1 month. During that month tho, I really enjoyed it. I watched multiple movies & a few tv series. I had to cancel my membership because I’m working less hours now & cant afford to spend any extra money. I was late cancelling, about 10 days into the next month. Anyways, I just read my emails & the one from Amazon was letting me know that they gave me a full refund. I wasn’t expecting that & they definitely didn’t have to do it. This whole process was smooth & easy. As soon as I can I’ll become a member again. Thanks Amazon!

I've only used Amazon Prime for purchasing things. For the most part it is great. I order enough to make the fee worth it even though it is a large fee to pay all at once; there should be a monthly option. The free 2 day shipping is awesome when it actually comes in 2 days. My latest purchase was ordered on a Wednesday and I didn't receive it until Monday. Even though that was the specified delivery time, I didn't know that until after completing my order and when I checked the tracking info it took 2 days to ship. I know it sounds like I am nitpicking but when you pay 100 bucks for this feature, you expect it to work every time. Other than that I do truly enjoy the service.

We recently moved ( 5 months ago) and decide to not get your traditional TV/Cable service. Amazon Prime has provide a very good service and selection of entertainment for us. There is a very good selection of older TV shows available, movies (both current and older) that we have enjoyed over the past few months.
Performance and delivery has been better than originally expected. No complaints.

I love Amazon Prime! For the price, I get hundreds of movies and tv shows, music streaming and my favorite, 2-day shipping. The amount of money I save on free 2-day shipping more than exceeds the price per year. So for me, the streaming of movies and music is just an added bonus.
I am also very pleased with the customer service with Amazon. They are quick to respond and very good at helping me no matter the problem. Thanks Amazon Prime!

I absolutely love amazon prime, it has saved me so many times when it has come to getting textbooks for my college classes. Before I had prime I would have to spend more money at a bookstore because it wouldn't be shipped to me in time, but that is no longer an issue. I love that they also give a very nice student discount.
There has only been one time where something wasn't delivered to me on time and Amazon customer service did a fantastic job of helping me track down what happened and we found out that it was the postal service that had messed up which means Amazon did their job perfectly and went out of their way to help me for something that wasn't their mistake.

As an avid consumer and entertainment enthusiast, I've found Amazon Prime to be an indispensable tool in my daily life. From its extensive library of movies and TV shows to its lightning-fast shipping, Amazon Prime consistently exceeds my expectations.
One of the standout features of Amazon Prime is its vast selection of entertainment options. Whether I'm in the mood for a Hollywood blockbuster, a critically acclaimed indie film, or binge-watching the latest TV series, Amazon Prime has me covered. The addition of Amazon Originals brings fresh and innovative content directly to my screen, often surpassing the quality of traditional network programming.

We primarily have Amazon prime for the free prime shipping, but enjoy access to the Amazon Prime movies and television streaming that comes with that service. In addition to Amazon originals, we have found movies and television series on Amazon Prime that are not available on NetFlix (which we also use). One of the things we like about Amazon Prime is the ability to rent (or purchase) "must-see" content if it's not available on Amazon Prime or other streaming outlet for free. We like to use the Amazon "no hurry" shipping that often results in credits to our Amazon digital account, which we then can apply to purchasing or renting content that is not freely available.

Although we have had Amazon Prime for years, I’ve just recently started to use the Amazon Prime video 3 months ago. I have loved it! I wish I would have been using it long before now. One of our favorite things to use it for is kid yoga. My 3 year old loves it and even my 1 year old will attempt it. It’s been a great way to occupy them when I need 15 minutes to get something done. I have used it for myself for work outs only a few times but want to start using it even more for that. It is easy to find what you want and easy to browse if you don’t know what you want to watch. I would recommend it!

Amazon has come a long way since it's beginnings in 1998. From a online bookstore, to a robust streaming service. I find the TV shows that are available for streaming are more modern and superior to Netflix. I'm actually watching an episode of Mr. Robot as I write this review. For the Car fanatics, they have "The Grand Tour" which picks up where the BBC dropped the ball with "Top Gear" Of all the shows listed this one was my personal favorite. I've developed a problem, where I cannot stop watching what they offer. Very much worth the money if you already have a Prime membership than utilize this for entertainment. Probably the reason I canceled by TV service. :)

I used to love amazon but now the shipping can vary so much from same day to weeks. Too much from China so you can’t be sure if the fit. And even some item not as described. I can find better bulk pricing at Walmart and they deliver too. I still like the convenience but their quality has gone down. There is no customer service. It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone. AI answers your questions. No real people. That’s all companies now and it’s very irritating. The AI is canned so only certain questions are answered.

They have a pretty good selection of movies to stream. All genres and so many I have a watchlist that I cant seem to complete. I have had Prime for a little over a year and never really used it much until I decided I'm tired of paying $157 a month for dish. I started delving into streaming options and learned their movie selection is great. I appreciate the free shipping on Prime. Most of the time its free, but there are those places and objects that arent.

I have a love/hate relationship with Amazon prime. I initially purchased prime because of their 2-day delivery claim which turned into a 3-5 or more days delivery. I realize some things are out of their control depending on vendor location but what chaps my hide is this... the company charges a fee for what i guess are "prime" movies. Why?? I pay a monthly membership fee so why does it cost me extra, either rent or buy movies? Does not make sense to me. So I pick up prime during holiday season and cancel after
