State-of-the-art and up to date. We haven't had to do much physically with the equipment. They were here probably four or five hours to install and when they were done it was ready to be powered up. They reached out to me quite a bit during the approval processes and were making sure that people were arriving on time when they were supposed to for the different inspections and then on top of that they would do what they could to expedite the process. The inspector was in the area and he said, Hey, I can come to your house, we'll take 20 minutes. So he actually came and inspected the house a couple weeks earlier than originally scheduled.

If I could do a half rating I'd give 1.5 stars. If I were to do this again (or recommend to a friend) I would encourage folks to look at other Sonnen Battery installers. If that's not an option, I'd only communicate with TriSMART's engineering and project team through your VPP Texas rep. I didn't choose to work with TriSMART Solar, but was required to by VPP Texas. The crew they sent to my house was absolutely amazing - a master electrician who communicated exceptionally well and was incredibly knowledgeable about code and electrical requirements. He thoroughly answered all my questions, and when the project couldn't be completed as expected, explained the hold ups. The HOA team was also wonderful, they put together all the paperwork I needed to submit. My HOA approved the solar panels without any questions or pushback! However, I had a terrible experience with Radney Santillan and the design team. I reached out to Jordan Lusk, Marco Chavez, Ari Ruelas, and Ryan Hildreth for assistance, but never got any response. Eventually Jacob Greek from VPP Texas stepped in and agreed to serve as the middle man between me and TriSMART Solar. Jacob was amazing and did a wonderful job convincing folks like Radney to exercise common sense. I eventually heard from Dave Barboza but at that point Jacob had resolved most issues. My biggest frustration with TriSMART Solar was their lack of communication during the design phase. I was told I'd get to talk to an engineer, before plans were finalized - but that never happened. To make matters worse, TriSMART only gives you 48 hours after *they think* the documents are emailed to make changes. TriSMART told me they emailed the documents on 7/26, but I didn't receive them until but I didn't get the documents until 45 hours later! They were kind enough to make an exception and give me more than 3 hours to review, but it seemed absurd I'd even need to request an exception. I was surprised to see that the entire system (including location of the batteries in my garage) had been decided for me by the engineers. I then had to argue to get them moved to the opposite side of my garage - which was necessary for us to fit both cars in the garage. More frustrating, TriSMART agreed to let me purchase my own (smaller) bollards than spec'd. The engineer only required 3" diameter bollards, while TriSMART spec'd 4.5" bollards. With space being a premium in the garage, I asked to have 3" bollards installed, and was told this was acceptable if I purchased them. However, only after I purchased the bollards and couldn't return them, did I learn city of houston code required 4.5" bollards, and the 3" bollards I special ordered wouldn't pass inspection. Great, wth am I supposed to do with these 3" bollards?

I saved thousands of dollars going with TriSMART, and the installation was very well done. In the end, I'm very happy. On the negative side, there were several communication issues. It seemed that the various departments were not talking to each other. Example: Power backup was a minor motivation of mine for installing batteries, but I liked the idea of backing up my pool pump for freeze protection. I was told my system would back up the whole home. Then the plans came out and said it would only have critical load backups. Then when the installers came, I found out that two pole circuits could not be backed up, even though the pumps were within the specs of the battery. These are all conversations that should have been had before the plans were ever drawn up, not on the day of installation. There were some other smaller issues with communication. In the end, I saved thousands and received high-quality work.

So how are those electric bills working out? If like me it's look like a second mortgage then it may be time to think solar. Trismart has installed and setup everything even going so far as to get building permits. They finance the install so your not out of pocket a cent. They cover any issues such as leaks in roof or hail storm destruction so you don't even need to add extra insurance. They will also upgrade without cost to you should the technology improve. 80% of your power used will be solar so this works with not replace your existing power. It's really subjective depending on construction costs but paying the monthly fee plus 20% electric is roughly half of what I was paying. My last bill to TXU was 120 bucks that's it! I don't think they will understand it if I were to tell them I was clapping and happy to pay that one. Give this a look again you don't need money down - they carry the risk from soup to nuts so your not exposed.

I've had Sunnova / TriSMART Solar for about a year now and it's been fantastic! With Sunnova, I don't have to worry about the cost of ownership, repair, etc. of the solar panels. And since we get a lot of sun here in north Texas, the average cost of ownership has been pretty comparable or cheaper than depending on the grid alone. If you're in Frisco, solar is a no-brainer; TriSMART took care of all the paperwork and permission from the city and the whole process from signing the contract to the panels being active took only a month! If you're thinking about solar, don't sign up for a 30 year contract and get stuck with panels that might not even work. Let TriSMART and Sunnova take care of the maintenance and paperwork and enjoy a hassle-free solar experience.

TriSmart solar are not only masters of home energy efficiency, but they have also mastered the art of efficient customer service. After doing my homework and deciding on going solar, TriSmart answered all my questions and then took control of the entire installation process, even going as far as submitting the requests through my HOA for me. The whole process was stress free. As for pricing, I paid no upfront cost and was able to leverage tax benefits to maximize my savings. ***I encourage every buyer to pay attention to how this tax credit works *** So far, the cost to switch to solar still balances out to save me hundreds less than what I would be paying for electricity alone. Trismart installers were professionals who did a solid job of installing my Solar Panels and Batteries. Crew was professional and did clean work. Their attention to detail was excellent and they made sure I was oriented with regards to the applications to monitor my solar panels. It's been a year an a half now since the Installation and the system has been rock solid, carrying us through the Beryl power outage with only minimal issues (Issues were not with performance of the system, they were solely due to practical limitations). It's great hearing the daily chime as the solar panels finish charging up my batteries and having to look at the app when someone asks if the power is out where I live is wonderful!

I was introduced to TriSmart from a family friend of Jason M. Would I have been treated differently if I did not have that introduction? I cannot say. I can only say that my experience was exemplary. My situation was unusual and finding the right leasing company was quite a challenge but with the unrelenting efforts by Erik G, the right company was found, installation began and was quickly done. So far, I couldn't be happier with the results and I do not anticipate any disappointments. I would definitely recommend TriSMART, and I would definitely use them again, if I were to purchase another property.

I like that we've - supposedly - lessened our family's carbon footprint. We're certainly not better off financially, however; our monthly payment to TriSMART was recalculated UP - after we signed the contract - and, instead of our energy bill disappearing (as was implied), we're still sending a chunk of money each month to our electric company. Keeping the lights on is costing more now than before we took the plunge. We're disappointed.

The TriSMART crews have all been great. They came out before Christmas and put 54 solar panels on the roof. It took a day because it was such a large system. The crew that came back in February to connect the batteries were amazing. Even though one has worked for TriSMART only 3 months, another has only worked 1 month and one was his first day, the 3 workers had not been a team until that morning and were so in sync with each other they looked like they had worked as a team for 10 years. The system was fully installed in just one day. A few days later a man came and connected all the batteries and controllers to the internet and after firmware updates the batteries were up and running with their great led light rings. The solar system is now up and running and supplying my house with 94%-99% of the electric supply coming from the solar panels and very little from the grid. Even on cloudy days the solar panels provide 94% of the power for 24 hours. I look forward to having the full system set up with my new electric company and locked in electric rate but it has been a relief just knowing that if the grid power goes off the battery will switch on instantly and provide power for essential lights, outlets and appliances like refrigerator and freezer.

Everything went smooth. I’ve had my panels for over a year and half. During the summer months my highest bill was just over $70. Granted I was paying for the panels but the savings from the previous year comparison was over $100. During the coldest month my bill was under $30. Early year months are less than $10. I knew going in it would take time to recoup the initial investment $41K. I purchased these for the years I’m no longer working and on a fixed income. We all know the energy companies are going to continue to raise rates. To date I am very happy with my purchase.

I didn’t expect our Solar Panels to save us that much money, but it has saved us hundreds of dollars per year as the price of electricity continues to go up and the cost per month for the Panels has stayed the same! And getting $2000 in tax refund for Solar ends up paying for the monthly bill!

Installation of our solar panels went super quick and the company that installed came from San Antonio, just three hours away. They showed up early, they stayed until everything was done and they cleaned up and it was fantastic. We've had no problems and it's been easy and seamless. They have worked with us continually in getting all of the permits and all the approvals and they always kept us in the loop and it was amazing. Josh was amazing and he was very clear on how everything works. It just proved to be the right choice at the right time. Overall the company has been amazing, the workers are super up front and clear about any and all changes that have occurred and it's been super easy. We're consuming way more than what our solar panels are producing and I understand that changes seasonally but, it's definitely not the value that we were expecting.

I would said 5 just because they've been very responsive and you know if there was any issues you know as I'm sure you know when. You know once it's installed and they're still the process of getting everything expected before you turn it on and all that kind of stuff and and they were very supportive as far as that way and then trying to make sure that you know they sometimes it is a process you know word to get now your city out there but also you know my electric provider and things like that and. So they were they were pretty good trying to keep abreast of all added in making sure that didn't take longer than than the appropriate amount of time you know you know even though the north is a process do take currently we're still good in doing that. everything seems to be working appropriately everything seems to be running the way that the way they were going to be it's not. Paul P. early or anything like that it it all seems to be working very smoothly and well I would have an issue. I said I haven't had any issues. And everything that are my question with them is been met my satisfaction so. I've actually already mentioned it to a few people. It was really very simple and easy and I mean really you don't have to do much at all given access to our garage which has a our our panel you know our our panel or whatever and then you know obviously access to the to the backs and when you do have the sent back in on it but it was not immediately. Is very quick and easy was working from home or to try again and destructive you know might not at all as far as noise or anything like that I mean you get all those pretty simple and quick. Just the fact that everybody was very professional I emailed the installation process was very sweetly and you know the. Customer support and everything else very good as far as you know following checking on you know how its going the emails that I received your email also very helpful and are you see. Reminding me of you even I'm just you know happen with you soon and and even though it's I don't you know pay and everything like that it's still nice to to get the email in the mail you know Hey is. And you know whatever so he I think it's just overall it's just a really good. Really good process and the communications are really good so.

My experience has been very positive. They were able to communicate with me. Throughout the process we had delays because of the city and they were able to keep me informed on the progress of the project. The equipment looks good, not bulky and doesn't distort the look of my home. The cost is very efficient. The whole process took about four months but they followed through on every step and were trustworthy. Installation was very quick and efficient, took two and a half days and I was very happy with the look of escalation and the timeliness. This was a pleasant experience from initial contract throughout installation and performance so I would highly recommend trismart to others who are looking for solar panels.

The sales people came by and they were better able to explain all the solar panels and working with the material. Whenever I called they were always respond to my questions and very knowledgeable on their on their materials in solar panel systems. It was basically seamless, the installers came by introduce themselves they let me know what they would do and how long it would take them and what part of the house should be working on and everything went without incident.Iit's been very durable, my neighbors have had different companies that came by and they install that and they've had trouble they've had issues with the panels and I have not.

The pannels are awesome, the amount of solar panels that I got with them was like half as much as other companies, it was unbelievable. There was no question on my mind of which company I was gonna go with. Overall it was a great process, it was wonderful and I definitely say if you're in your forever home this is definitely the way to go solar and TriSMART is an awesome company to do it. I had a software issue and they got resolved very quickly and didn't have any more issues after that. Right now our power just went out I don't have a battery operated system, but as soon as the power comes back on my system comes online, I don't have to do anything extra to make it come back on. We had all the pannels installed in two days, and that was delayed because of the weather. If we had a problem I was able to get a hold of someone and the problem was resolved immediately. I was able to get everything that I wanted without having to have an extra utility bill.

I found the overall process to be fairly smooth and easygoing; however, I am not satisfied with how the battery installation was handled in my garage. One of the main reasons we approved this solar installation was based on the understanding that it would not interfere with the current layout and functionality of my garage. Unfortunately, when the electrician arrived, he proceeded to install the batteries using a layout that had not been approved. I had clearly communicated my preference for the batteries to be installed in a specific location, yet that request was disregarded. This decision was made without proper consultation or approval, and it directly contradicts what was originally discussed. As a result, the current setup compromises the usability of my garage, which is extremely disappointing.

High level of care all throughout. It was a process, but there was never a moment where I didn't know where I was, that I hadn't any clue where I was. I always knew if we were waiting on the permit or if they were going to put it in on Tuesday. I always knew where I was. It went much quicker than I would have ever thought. I did it in two stages, I think I did 14 panels in 2020 and then I did another 10 in 20, early 2022. The first installation I think maybe took about 3/4 of the day. The second one took like 1/2 a day.

I like the equipment that they use and the price competitiveness. Very responsive and very attentive to questions and requests for changes that I had. They were just on top of things. During installation, I had a few requests of where I wanted the panels to go and they took care of that. They were very good at adapting to the changes. I have no issues with the product, so far it works really well. And all the equipment is functioning how it is supposed to. It is easy to work with them.

Salesman was straight to the point. So far I've only had like one or two issues and when I called, they took care of it and got everything handled. Installation was quick and fast and they were professional and they made sure that they didn't leave any trash behind or anything else. The owners are great guys and I feel comfortable with their company. Anytime I need anything I'm able to get a hold of someone and that is really important to me. Installation was smooth. I mean there weren't any hang ups or issues at all. We were happy with it. I am happy with the equipment too. We work closely with Zack and with Mark and John and all three of those guys were awesome guys and so if we were ever to go solar again in another house we would certainly consider using trismart.

I don't have any issues with them. They were the best fit for what I needed. I've had no issues with customer service, they've done everything I've asked. I think installation was all done in one day. Other than that they came back the next day to fix a couple things but it was smooth with no issues. Everything works properly and I've been able to check the status of the app and everything so I can kind of see how everything's going so it's very user friendly and transparent.

I don't have any problems with this company. As far as installation, all materials were delivered and they showed up and were done in a day. It was pretty fast, they cleaned up after themselves. It was done well. The product is pretty user friendly. The panels are still working good. I haven't had any issues at all. I think it is a little expensive.

They are a little more expensive but I think the quality that you get basically offsets that. Trisamart so far been fantastic and working with the consultants I've been working with. The survey and installation was basically seamless and there was total communication all the way along the line and great follow up afterwards to ensure that everything was working properly. They were very responsive that issues I had with the system and they come out take care of it. They were able to provide the answers I needed.
