After the install we have had to deal with numerous roof leaks. To make things worse Solar Spectrum is always very unresponsive, and it takes weeks of emailing and phone calls to get them to respond. I live in California, and we don’t have a lot of heavy rain. So noticing the leaks and bad repairs is a challenge. I don’t recommend this company.

I am writing this review of Solar Spectrum. I would highly advise you to look elsewhere. I have ZERO confidence that this company will be able to help me if something happens with my system. I have been trying to call them for the last two weeks and cannot get ahold of anyone at the company. That includes sales, customer service, project manager, (project manager's manager), etc. I had another company lined up to install my panels, but I turned here because of cheaper price and panel options. BIG MISTAKE! You get what you pay for.

DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THE GUARANTEE They just guarantee a production instead warranty, They are guarantee around 94~96% of Estimated output. It looks OK, but, They are carry over an extra production from the guarantee value. not from the estimated output. It is really so gimmick, Think again carefully what will happen. After 10 years, if system is shut-down for 6 months, they do not have any responsibility. Check the warranty term again, carefully.

Didn't install by promised date which cost us more in utility bills. They guaranteed to cover as a result. However, we are still waiting for reimbursement some 8 months later. I have been told it was getting mailed numerous times. They were all available for my business when they were trying to cut a deal, but now that they have my money I am being lied to and ignored. Says a lot about their customer service department. Doesn't appear to be any accountability within the company.

Horrible experience and company. From start to finish they didn't complete the promises they made. They installed the incorrect panels and ended up just discounting the price of the solar system due to failure on their part. Furthermore, the lack of communication was significant leading me to have to reach out to several people to get an answer. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

The sales person mentioned about the $ 100 gift card for coming out to our house and giving us an estimate. However, the rep called on the day of the appointment to re-schedule it for next day and we did meet then. However, subsequent to the meeting, I received an email that we are sorry the appointment was cancelled and thereafter I didn't receive any gift card. Not sure if there was a miss or it is a business practice
