they provide a good product with the integrated inverter. This is supposed to improve reliability and I was glad to get this panel. I was a bit disappointed with the app they provide for monitoring the system production. Sunpower customer support did not provide much help. But after I contacted my installer Greenlogic they resolved my issues.

Their panels are super tough/strong/resistant to damage, and they have an amazing warrantee - parts and labor (and even disposal of any defective componants) on all componants except 1 minor piece (which has a 10 year warrantee) for 25 years. And the warrantee is transferable to new owners.

Good quality and workman ship. Has lowered my electric bill to $16.43 a month. This is the lowest I can pay because you have to pay rent for the meter and the cable lines. You do have to add the sunpower service fee mine is ,$83, I'm very happy with the results

So far the system is operating fine. I had one day when the light on the inverter control panel was red instead of cyan. It corrected itself. It occurred before moving into the the new home so I didn't have internet access yet so I couldn't check the status on line. Which is my one complaint, the system doesn't provide a means to see how each panel is doing, it just provides the overall power capability, not at the panel level.

Their customer support is in contact with me from time to time, but I think they could be a little better at that. The installation was done in the summer and it took about two months to be completed when originally they said it'd take 7-10 days. My energy bill was negligent, and now the bill is $0, so it's been a big blessing.

They make the most efficient panels with the lowest deterioration at the time I ordered them. The web portal shows you electric production and usage on 15 minute intervals. They were very helpfull when the system stopp responding and got it resolve in less than one day.

The sales people, installers and support person did an outstanding job however the quality of the staff that handled our payment was far from excellent - Twice we were told that checks were not received when we had notification that, in fact, they had been. This has caused us to have to go through considerable effort to provide evidence that the checks were cashed. On the first check Sunpower discovered their mistake, don't know yet about the second.

The SunPower app does not work properly since installation approx 4 months ago. We constantly receive error messages about Wifi connection; slow data transmission; etc. We are unable to see true stats for ourself so every month we have to wait for our electricity bill to confirm the system is truly working. We like to see our own stats in real time, which is what we were told we'd be able to do. When we call the SunPower customer service number we're referred to our installer. The installer has come out to check our unit multiple times, they contacted SunPower about the issue but are uncertain when the app will function properly. This app situation with no solution in sight is not ideal and we feel like we have been taken advantage of. We were told we'd be able to monitor our unit, but we cannot.

Believe we got superior Solar panels from SunPower that looks good, performs outstanding, and awesome monitoring app. The only "ding" is the high cost of panels, but I figured I'm in this for the long term and felt we will reap higher reward when it gets to 15, 20, 25 years old.

After talking to two other solar companies I contacted SunPower based on the high reviews. I gentleman named Breon J came to our house for a survey and quote. He was much more knowledgeable and did a much better presentation. He explained the equipment, benefits, and RUI in great detail. He also helped us fill out the information details needed to be prepared for submission and acceptance. If you are interested in obtaining information about solar, equipment, installation and tax exemptions I would highly recommend you contact him. His quote was much less than the other two that we had received from competitors, and we felt the our decision to proceed was the a good choice. I will update this review following the upfront engineering, installation and results related to lowering our monthly electrical cost.

9/9/24-When I took over lease buying my house it started outworking well, Then 7/23 it stopped working and customer service is a joke. Finally after several calls 11/23 they came and fixed part of panels and 1 box works. Told need more invertors and 2/24 they came out and said you need more invertors and that is already what I was waiting for since 7/23. Told 3 weeks they would come in and now still waiting phone call after phone call. I hold I get disconnect and still paying $450 electric bills with no one fixing my panels now over a year. Now I call and the hold is the bankruptcy has everything on hold. One year and two months later, no help at all from SunPower. Worthless company for sure, do not use them. BMedina.

My experience has been horrible! Everything got screwed up starting with the installation process all the way to not getting what I was promised. I told them I wanted a system that would cover my monthly electric bill. So they went over all the electrical paperwork then recommended how many panels I would need to cover my monthly bill. So I said okay and agreed to get the system that they recommended bc I trusted their professionals but the system I have isn’t enough to cover my bill. So I called bc I was promised that it would cover my bill or they would cover the difference but they aren’t doing that. The only person that did anything right was the owner Chad. He was wonderful and did everything he could to make things right but so many things were wrong that it was impossible. I’ve left so many messages with customer service and I never receive a call back. Now I receive an email saying that they filed bankruptcy so all of the warranties that I was expecting to get me through all the years now doesn’t exist. Now I have system that if it breaks down I’m screwed bc I don’t have a company that will honor my warranty. So the reasons that made me purchase the system no longer exist. So I’m left on my own to figure things out but still paying a company that no longer will be honoring our contract.
