Best is they lie, the worst is they lie, Att has become a company i feel is giving customer service from a prison as the agents seem to me to go all out to lie, mislead i have contacted NBC who said they have many calls of this type about directv. It got so bad I had to involve NBC

There customer service told us after being with them a year that we do not meet there standards as a customer and need to go to art. Our bill doubled even after perfect payment history. We went to at t and can afford tv now.

I have been trying to schedule a follow up service call for a week. The problem was not fixed the first time. I have been a subscriber for many years and I believe my calls to them are being deliberately blocked /dropped. AT&T has ruined a once excellent company.

I was first put on hold by a rep that was supposedly getting a manager for 30 minutes. I never spoke with the manager. 2 reps snapped at me. I was transferred so much i spoke to 8 people. 2 of those people gave me false information about a department that doesn't exist. It took me 2 hours to cancel my service.

DirectTV added services and multiple charges to the bill without knowledge of account holder. DirectTV would not take the charges off his bill, said they could only apply a credit to future charges of the account. Since I wanted to close the account immediately, giving a credit for incorrect charges

I have no movie channels at all.Been with them since 2007 and was happy but now they have changed.customer service is horrible! They hang up when you question them about your bill.When my contract is up im changing services.Sad.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They billed me for $900.23 in hidden charges in the fine print. Manager lied about charges. Customer service would not answer questions. I was told I should have read the fine print closer.

Was lied to at sales and promised a channel that ended up not being in the package I bought without ANOTHER package added. Then lied to two other times about possible solutions only to ultimately have to purchase additional package for channel. Seems predatory to me.

I have had Directv since 2003. Always been happy with them, until AT&T bought them. I have never liked AT&T , they are liars and don't care about their customers, never have. I'm so close in telling them to take their service and shove it, like I did with their phone service about 10 years ago.

The only reason I have Direct TV is because I have a RV. Now that AT&T has taken over, my Direct TV doesn't work unless I pay more money. Now they say I can't change my location. Why does AT&T sell Direct TV for an RV if I can't move it. This is typical of a AT&T business venture - it doesn't take them long to ruin a good thing.

Nothing but trouble with the remote. Asked them to stop all the movie channels at the end of billing cycle and they stopped it that day. One year over and the bill goes up $40.+ Back to movie channels same old stuff over and over. I will be leaving soon.

Horrible service. The wind blew I lost my signal, it rained I lost my signal, it snowed and I lost the signal. I even paid monthly for the maintenance fee. They were rude and insulting. I finally got rid of it and went back to cable, paying about the same and getting more channels and services.

they overcharged us more than once, no monthly payment was the same. We had them 5 years, needed the box replaced, THEIR box, then when we dropped them, they said we owed a early disconnect charge, went on our credit record, they are a POS, would NOT recommend them to my enemys much less friends

After one year the price goes way up and if you get another package you only get commercials and things you don't even watch. They also charge you very steep if you cancel before the contract is over. I would never refer anyone to Direct TV.

Direct TV sucks !! Every time we have a sprinkle of rain the service is disrupted. Can NEVER get a weather alert because service is lost at any event preceding the bad weather. HD comes in and out for no reason. Can't wait for FIOS to come to our location.

I subscribed to Direct TV. Worse mistake ever made. It is nothing but a scam I was misinformed about free movie site so did not get to take advantage of that. The form for another offer was received too late to be any good. I reported Direct TV to consumer reports.

My bill was never the same amount, it kept going up, and up, and up.....I never changed my subscription, although they changed it frequently. Customer service calls were frustrating and complex. When my contract expired, I switched to Dish and haven't been more satisfied.

the bill is never what they say it will be ... I have talked to a customer rep every month for the last 4 months . I have been told different payment every time . I wish I hadn't signed up for another 2 yrs . They suck at billing n the satellite goes out at least once a month . After this 2 yrs , I'll go back to cable .

Had trouble with HD channels none was showing had service about 3 months call be didn't get any help was without HD for 1 month an a half before I got it fix they charge me 50$ before they can do anything still gonna charge me for that month an a half that I was without HD

Everything was great until my bill started getting higher and higher. Customer service was horrible and needed service done in my home and they wanted to charge me for someone to come out. So I canceled the service and returned the equipment. Now there billing me over $500 for equipment I returned. Very disappointing.

Although the product is very good, it is offset by extreme incompetence by the installers and by both customer service and their billing dept. For example, I cancelled the service and returned the equipment before moving out of the area. Just over 14 months later Igot a bill for a year's worth of service plus late charges. It was a nightmare dealing with them. Stay away from them at all costs!

I had DIRECTv for almost 20 yrs. Great customers service and discounts. But when AT&T took over they went down to the trash. The customer service was rude. I told them I was having issues and they did not care. I asked them to explain the new charges that just appeared on my account, to no avail. I quickly disconnected my service and nothing to try to get me back after being a 20 yr customer with no late payments.

I have called countless times trying to get my equipment upgraded. Long waits and transfers are normal when talking with customer service. Several times I was told an order for new equipment has been submitted but after multiple attempts to get this done nothing happens.

1 week into direct TV, 1 of2 tuners quits. Direct TV wants to charge me $150 to send a service guy out since I did not buy the service plan on THEIR NEW EQUIPMENT. NO F-ING WAY. Told them to send another box & I would install it. I am a retired electronics tech. NOPE! So I told them to send prepaid packaging to send back or 7th day its in the trash. 4 years of wrangling, ended up suing them for $5000 for drama charges in small claim court. Posted judgements on credit bureau and they gave up, but never paid.

If there is a cloud in the sky, Direct TV doesn’t work. My internet is constantly dropping and the tv goes out. A representative of Direct TV told me I needed to watch lower channels if there was a cloud coming over….WHAT?!? That’s NOT a good deal!

Too expensive for the number of channels you receive. Very deceptive and misleading sales when signing up for an account with them. Charges suddenly appear on your bill even when you have made no changes to your account. It's difficult at times to get through to someone without being on hold for a long time and employees transfer you to different departments multiple times. You have to repeat your name, telephone number, address, and passcode over and over before you can get help. I am going to buy a tv that allows me to watch any station free of charge and cancel my service.

If you ever want a great satellite experience that not what you will get. They have a great selection and packages to choose from. Beware though! They get you in a 2-year contract and give you a great monthly rate only good for one year. The rates go up on the second year.
