We had directv for a short couple months and weren’t very satisfied. The channel selection was good, but the network speed was very slow and our network kept cutting out. The customer service was rather poor and they weren’t helpful when we called for maintenance.

I use to give DirecTV 5's but I still am waiting on the Pac-12 network to come to DirecTV. I am tired of being told it is in the works (for the past 6 years) and might switch just for the Pac-12 netork.

The packages for Direct TV are competitive, however, the price point is ridiculous. It seems like there is a fee for everything, setting up, cancelling service, ect. I would not recommend.

We have had direct tv for 2 years and it was a little expensive for the quality of service we were getting. Customer service is a nightmare to talk to and usually have to talk and explain the same thing to multiple employees before you get helped.

My least favorite satellite tv provider as I always feel less than important to them. I also feel like my bill was always going up and that because I wasn't a new customer that it meant my opinion didn't matter. The contracts were annoying and I'd rather just have a flat bill rather than the charges changing every year.

I did not enjoy DIRECTV. The programming was the same as all the others, but it went out during thunderstorm consistently. The trouble is I am trying to watch the news during severe weather and DIRECTV didn't all me to do that.

It’s all good until the promotional period ends and the price goes way up. I’m tired of playing the satellite switch between Dish and Direct and for 4 yrs now I have cut the cord and I’m enjoying free TV. Good riddens to companies that don’t listen to customers and provide a better product.

DirectTV charged my family a ton of money for television which for us wasnt really worth it because we dont watch a lot of tv. We ended up cancelling it all together and it wasnt much of a blow to lose the services they provided.

Prices are always going up, loosing local stations because negotiations, and record a local or old tv series and 10 minutes from the end there is a $2.99 charge to finish watching

DirecTV is ok when watching basic TV such as the news and game shows. Don't know if it's their fault but they could use better discretion on the choices of movies they play.
