They hooked you up for 2 years contract without let you known. In the middle of the contract they raised price , it is a one way contract. When we called to cancel the service, we have to pay more than $300 termination fee . Don’t let this company to rip you off!!!

They have more channels than you can possibly watch. DO NOT use a debt card on your account. If you fail to pay they will charge for the equipment and term in a one-time charge to your account. It could hit with hundreds of dollars coming out of your bank account at once. They are owned by AT&T and their customer service is just as bad.

I have been trying to get a technician to my house for 4 days now and I have to wait to more now to get repair service. I am fed up with direct tv. I am counseling my service I have had enough of att crap. I even swapped my phones over from Verizon. I am truly disappointed with these people

Rep promised me $50 off monthly for being a loyal customer. Got my bill. No $50 off. Called and was told the rep had lied to me. There were no promos going on. Was told several times that agent lied to me. Will be switching carriers. Liars! Liars! Liars!

This is horrible that a big company like this stole from me. Especially in my time of need when our country is in a depression and not working full time. This is illegal.

After an hour and a half of phone conversation with multiple representatives/ bullies, I was informed that paying for a month in advance (even I do not have service) is in their policy and no one can change that and I have to pay. STAY AWAY FROM NOT SO DIRECTV.

They do not prorate you for when you want to discontinue services. They stole from me. They make it ridiculously difficult to cancel services, had me on the phone an hour and a half only to connect me with a super rude manager who could do nothing to help. I've been customer for over 15 years and this is how they treat me.

IN the beginning of the 2 year agreement is a 161.56 first bill the last bill on the twenty 24 mth agreement as 194.76 after the agreement if i continue to stay we are billed at 263.44 . So after 2 years they prefer you to go elsewhere for service. That is clear in our case. Major disappointment.

I will never do business with them again. Inept and hard to understand customer service. Disconnection was a nightmare. They didn't get it right the first time, I had to make multiple lengthy calls and their final billing ate up a refund they told me to expect. I feel cheated.

I switched from Comcast to DIRECTV when cable seemed too expensive and simultaneously switched to AT&T internet. Both services were deficient, and the coordination between DIRECTV & AT&T billing was terrible. I ended up canceling both and being hassled & charged for cancellation fees. Will never deal with either again.

Since AT&T has bought them they no longer pro rate your added or removed services. Their quality of satellite signal gas decreased with choppy reception from tome to time. Their menu is hard to read with crappy font and customer service is horrible and prices have been raised!

Ordered as a new customer. Horrible customer service from the beginning. No 4k recievers available. Tried to switch us to ATT uverse instead. 1.5 hr wait time on phone to change an appointment. They signed me up for a program I told them I did not want. What a night mare. 0 stars.

Horrible, we have been with direct tv for 5 years, we decided to cancel our service, when cancels they allowed me to cancel on may 14th even though in middle of billing cycle so I am being charged 174.00 for 7 days of service, which was never told of being charged.

Customer service and cable service is the worst. Never coming back. Customer service never helps just makes things worse. Don’t make the same mistake. I think it got worse when Att took over. Paid for a sports channel and they block it out when the team I want to watch comes on. Who does that? Waste of money!!!

Absolutely terrible service. Always has problems. Loses sound about every 2 minutes. Seems to repeat the dialogue of show. Freezes a lot. Goes to black screen. Very annoying. Apparently quality is not all what they strive for. It's all about quantity, not quality. Unfortunately.

Horrible service and to wait 3 HRS on the phone to try and get to the correct person is outrageous!! I have genie's in 8 rooms and continue to have problems where NONE of the work and it takes 3 days to get a GD tech out! Each time its a different excuse , update software issue, glitch in system etc. Since AT & T have merged it's even worse!

Never got what i was told with promotion (53/month service +300 visa card) my bill was always much higher. Customer service was not helpful most times. I had to call 7 out of 12 months to fix my bill to what the promotion said I was suppose to have. Very stressful so i canceled early and still got billed a high final bill. Very disappointed.

I was a great customer for 2 years and was never late. At the end of 2 years they raised my rates by more than 50%. When I called them after 75 minutes on the phone they only offered $20 less than the $53 increase. I told them to cut off my service. I WILL NEVER BE BACK

Sales tactics. They called and said they were giving movie channels free for two weeks because I was a valued customer and hung up. A couple of weeks later, my bill went up. I never even asked or had the opportunity to decline the movie channels, they just called and said they were giving them to me.

I was a customer for 11 years. Recently moved to another state. After 10 months i could longer afford the expense. I payed my bill in full and had to cancell. They sent me $500 cancellation fee and i didnt pay it. It went to collections and is on my credit report. I think they should wave the fee.

When I moved and tried to cancel, they came in with a great deal. I told them what I like to watch, but the deal did not have any of channels I wanted. So i had to upgrade to a hugher package, and my deal went away. I thought they were very misleading. SO not a good value either.

Before Directv was purchased by ATT, they had much better customer service and they didn't seem to jack up their pricing as often. Now the customer service is terrible and they seem to change my pricing several times a year.
