If you ever want a great satellite experience that not what you will get. They have a great selection and packages to choose from. Beware though! They get you in a 2-year contract and give you a great monthly rate only good for one year. The rates go up on the second year.

Very expensive. We only have it for the sports. We would love the option of an internet based provider or an antenna. Due to our location, neither are an option. Directv does have good customer service. Service is just not worth the cost.

The channel offering from DIRECTV is amazing, however the pricing of packages is not in the best interest of the customer. Too much choice/options at high prices. The 2-year contracts are also difficult to deal with, especially in the age of streaming services.

Having a satellite has a lot of downsides. DIRECTV is not available everywhere, it's not available to a lot of people and who is watching and paying for cable anymore aside from people who have had cable most of their lives and aren't ready to cut the cord? DIRECTV is world's better than Comcast in any arena so i can commend them for that.

The service from DirectTV was mostly reliable except when dealing with storms, which caused the signal to be lost. Getting the dish repointed could be problematic, then getting a service tech out would always cost money.

Bill changes every few months. They do not offer many choices to change your package. Now that the have merged with AT&T they should offer a better bundle service if you have internet and cell phone services as well. Thinking about changing back to Comcast.

They give you a great start up price than they hike it up till you find a better rate and are suprized when you discontinued there service plus their services go in and out with the weather here in the south it rains here nearly every day in the spring summer and fall you lose about 4hrs of service every month

It is too costly for the service. DIRECTV continues to have issues when bad weather is present, and that is annoying. I will not continue with the service past the next couple of months. Paying over $70 is too much. I pay over $120 dollars and that does not include all the best channels. I can pay much less for their competitor anc get more.

I don’t Really have too much good stuff to say about Directv. They lock you into a two year contract, then raise the price after a year. You have to call them every month to get it lowered. And the service goes out every thunderstorm. It was a frustrating experience. I’m glad I switched companies.

I used to love DirecTV, then when it came time to renew, they screwed me, I told them I would never come back (after 7 years as a customer) and they could have cared less. No loyalty at all, and even after all this, they send me so much junk mail and even call me begging me to come back. They don't get it and it's frustrating. I tell everyone to steer clear.

DIRECTV is so expensive. Their customer service is very poor. They are constantly trying to find ways to get more of your money. The channels they offer and provide are mostly garbage. But to get the channels you do want, you have to pay for the garbage ones you never watch. My family and I do not like it. We are canceling are subscription.

Prior to switch to a new provider a long time ago we had DirecTV and didn't like them at all. It always seemed overpriced for what we got in our package. We seemed to always have outages and it became to frustrating. A lot of time has passed so maybe they are much better now but that just wasn't our experience.

We had DirecTV for several years. Bad weather would interrupt the satellite reception which can be frustrating. They increase prices for loyal customers. The longer you are a customer, the more the price goes up. That is a broken business model and they lost my business.
