My appointment was on a very windy day. Knowing about the procedure of the chemicals to be used around my home I was concerned. A lot would be blowing in the air and not on the direct areas. I was in my home knowing that the Aptive employee would finish soon and come to the front door. Well he left, this was the first time since I became a customer that this happen. All others came to the door. Very disappointed

The technician, Philip S, did a good job in applying the insecticide. My only concern is that I was never provided a time window commit and he arrived at around 4:30pm as his last job for the day. The evening started to get dark while he was working. In the last 2 visits, I was always provided a time window, which I will expect the next time.

We have used Orkin over the past 7 years while living in our home. Almost never saw a bug in the house which is saying something living in Tampa FL. We switched to Aptive to try and save a few bucks about 4 months ago and we have seen more bugs in the house in the last 4 months than we have the entire 7 years with Orkin. This is not an exageration. The tech never want to come in the house to spray and always try to explain why they shouldnt have to. This is real simple I have bugs in my home and I am paying NOT to have bugs. We have had two techs out to the house and both dont want to seem to spray inside for some reason. More than likely switching back to Orkin.

We are happy with the technicians, service and effectiveness of the products Aptive uses. Wes came out to give us a re-service because we had ants all throughout the house. After his service, we came home to no more ants. YAY!! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I had to call twice for the re-service.

If you go with active, make sure you're home or have cameras to ensure the service you pay for is actually performed. The tech who was supposed to do my service today did not yet put the card on my door saying the service was done. I called and let the office know. He was sent back out and only did the back yard (what he claims wasn't done the first time he was out today). He also rang the doorbell the second time out and just stood there staring at me when I opened the door. No apology for not doing what he was paid to do. No inquiry about any special areas that needed attention. Very rude and unprofessional. I have always had great techs in the past but this was very disturbing. If I hadn't been home to witness the tech not doing his job I would have paid for a service that I didn't receive and never been aware I was being ripped off. I would prefer to work with a company who hires employees with honor and integrity.

When my wife went out to ask him if he did the garage he said no the dogs are in there, but when my wife came home she brought them inside. He was in his car about to leave and she had him come back and do the garage. We have not noticed a big difference with your service. We have had a ton of black widow nests, egg sacks, crickets, aphids in yard still, silverfish you name it we got it. Last time he said "yea spiders are bad this year" well, thats why we hired you!

Super nice folks to work with. Very friendly. The quality was just very poor. They bought me in with a GREAT discount on the initial service but told me they would have to charge me the full price if I discontinued service before the year was out. They did the initial service but it was not effective. I continued to see cockroaches, spiders, silverfish, etc.. They did their first quarterly service and still no change. I contacted them to perform a follow up service and they were happy to schedule it with no charge. Still no change so I called them again for another follow up service. And another. After 4 follow up services and no change in our bug population I fired them. I had to pay for the full price of the initial service but it was cheaper than what I would have paid to have them come back three more times. I am very disappointed. Going back to my old bug guys.

I had asked if it can be first thing AM then received a text saying 11:30 to 3:30pm he got to the house at 3:20 pm I had appt to go to due to waiting for him I called the phone number twice but its only Monday through Friday You guys should really take in consideration office or some one to help on Saturday because you are open. It was a Saturday a waist of my time waiting around when I spoke to the person she said not to worry most likely It would be before noon...…..

Wes knocked before initiating the service and verified what he was there to do. I am 100% satisfied with his work. That said, I still did not receive a text or call beforehand. I have contacted Active twice about this and still it does not happen. I want this done for every service.

I have found both my technicians so far to be very friendly. And I definitely saw a decrease in spider crickets after our first treatment. We found some in our basement, but they were dead. That made me very relieved!
