Daniel T performed a fair job. He had failed to clear out the spider webs around the front door and around the front window frames. I pointed this out to him after he had said he had completed the job. He then cleared out the webs. He missed 3 ant mounds and I have requested someone else to come out next week. I had cancelled my previous pest company after results like was done yesterday.

When I called to request indoor spraying, I mentioned that we had seen a rat and had heard it in the attic. I had also seen some small roaches occasionally. When the service man came out, I showed him the attic access (from the bedroom area) which was a ladder attached to the wall. He informed me he could not go up that to put the rat traps in attic. I told him the air conditioner guy and others always use it with no problem. He said he was used to a pull down ladder, which is what we have in the garage, but we have furniture stored there and it is not accessible. I, myself, have used the wall ladder when I needed to look in the attic. I don't know if he was scared or what, but he went outside and was gone for five or ten minutes, came back, and in the meantime, my daughter opened the trap door in the ceiling for him so all he had to do was go up one or two steps on the ladder and place the traps. Also, he said he used glue traps, which I could have just as easily put out myself . I put one out many years ago, caught a rat and I was afraid to do anything with it, so waited for my husband to get home several hours later. When he arrived the rat had escaped, so I have since tried the snap traps which work better. I am older now, a widow, and handicapped, so I thought it would be more convenient to hire a pest service and there would be no extra charge since the indoor spraying is included in my contract. However, I can get a family member to do what your service person did. As you can tell, I am not happy with the service today .

I didn't get to meet my technician because I wasn't home, so I can't rate his customer service skills. I did look around the front porch and still found some cobwebs around the window frame and sill, even though he noted that the windows were checked. It looks like the metal top on the front porch light fixture was moved slightly and not put back correctly on the fixture. Still found cobwebs around gutter downspouts and underneath the roof that hangs over our deck by the back sliding door. Just thought it would be a little more thorough.

Like technician friendly and professional Only found out on 3rd callout that i was reqiuured to plug weep holes.Other than mutiple trpas and glue boards Im not targeted mice are be caught Im supplying containers for bait .I hope last f/o visit on mice needed.No ready to recommend your company to others however technican personable and reliable to show up timely Your call center not too good Mutiple calls and text for help and no real timely return calls and night shift doesnt relay call ins .Seem repeated requests for help had to be made .

Aptive effectively scammed me out of $250+. A sales rep convinced me to sign up for a $5 service and to sign same day, assuring me that I would be able to cancel after the first quarterly service. Unfortunately, after that first service when I went to cancel (since their treatment did nothing to help with our mosquito problem) I was told that I would be charged $250 to cancel. The only way I wouldn't be charged the fee is if I went through a full 12 months of services...something that I now see was in the contract, but was NOT told to me aloud by representative. In fact, he fully mispresented that process, and I am incredibly disappointed in myself for having trusted him and this company. The treatment was mediocre at best, and now I'm down a big chunk of money. I would recommend many other pest control companies before Aptive.

Thank you so much for getting rid of all the spider webs! It was getting so I couldn’t leave my house without running into at least one. Very important note - please be sure to close and latch the gate to the backyard when you leave. I let my dogs out into the backyard when I got home from work and they raced down the street. Luckily they came right back because it was their dinner time but it could have been a big problem. If not for that I would have given you 5 stars :)

I signed up with Active Environmental and treatment was done immediately. About two weeks later, I started seeing roaches in my kitchen and bathroom. I called to schedule a re-treatment, and the scheduler said the first available was two weeks out. I was scheduled for the re-treat, only to find out that my scheduled service was the next week. Confusing for me and the technician.

The service has helped with our spider and insect problem. However, the salesman led us to believe more services would be automatically provided. We did have a very helpful technician, Shawn R, come out today to treat our garage. He did everything we asked him to do. We had unscheduled outside service earlier this week and the agreement was that we would be notified before any service was provided. There were still cobwebs on the house and spiders crawling around the foundation which makes me question if service was provided on that date.

Had a very good experience with the sales rep who was going door to door in the neighborhood, and signed up. I wasn't there when the initial service was performed, but my wife said the inside of home was treated. I believe the outside was as well, but there were/are still spider webs on the house everywhere. These aren't way up high either. I'd say the majority are within 8 feet of the ground. Not overly upset because the service was free, but will be once I start paying.
