Ask tons of questions-and beware..... Customer Service is just ok - and can be snarky and hang up on you if you ask too many questions!!! Fees are: 1) Settlement Fee=27% of each Settlement-$ to Firm first. 2) plus $9.95 a month to manage the online account, 3) plus $10 for EACH check they send your creditor--there is an agreement with a third party for the fee, and even though there are other options that would cost you $0 to send payment to credit--per the agreement you sign with the third party - they are NOT available to you! I tried working with both Turnbull and the 3rd part but got the run around, hung up on, called back only to be told 'we do the best option that saves you money'...its a crock. 4) If you remove Debts from the program because you settle on your own - your monthly payment remains the same.

I would have to say customer service was excellent but not the way they handle the debt is not. Why they make 7,000.00 off of the debt is because they take your largest debt first to pay off which takes longer. The small debts just keep sitting there in limbo and ruining your credit. We went from a 672 to a 448 in the midst of 5 months. Yes, I increased what I was giving them and took debt away to pay and keep current. Covid hurt us and some it the credit cards didn’t care and some would work with you. I just canceled and am waiting for my refund. Do not do this, just file bankruptcy or find another company that structures differently to get it paid off.

While I think this company is excellent in what they do, I have a lot of anxiety in the timelines. We have been bombarded with calls from credit card companies and collectors. A summons even has been served. We have only received one settlement. We expected better communication and resolution at a much quicker pace.

They are only interested in getting the 50 percent fee from settled debt. They wont contact credit card companies to stop calls, they wont delay dedicated account payments for a crisis and they dont answer emails. AVOID.

This was a terrible experience. Several settlements went void because the company was spending more money than what i was depositing every month which is what i thiught they were supposed to help me fix since thats what got me into the problems.; about $500 of every monthly payment was for fees. The company did not help me avoid garnishments. They switched my attorney on me 3 times, only one of which was decent. The other two were absolutely horrible and would even send me wrong information on a consistent basis then later apologizing saying they confused me with another customer. I have the emails to prove the incompetence of the attorneys. Several of the settlements were settled at such a high amount that after adding the settlement l fee i ended up paying more than the original debt was for. Many of my accounts i had to settle outside of the program due to the programs failure and lack of action. After 3 years and more than $90,000 deposited turnbull had yet to pay off any of the accounts even though there were accounts as small as $1000. And when i requested to pay some of the smaller accounts and was willing to deposit the amount needed to do so, the company continuously rejected this and said it was not allowed. Still don't understand why. I could have done everything this program promised, including negotiating settlements, on my own for less money due to not having to pay 27% settlement fees and would have paid off accounts way sooner using snowball method. There’s so much more to add but i believe this says alot already. Would NEVER EVER recommend this type of program to anyone. Do it on your own!

Currently in a lawsuit no response from the attorney I have emailed. I have no idea what is going on. At this point it feels like they just let everything build up so you can be stuck in the program forever. Now I am waiting to see if this attorney is ever going to help or is just going to let me go to court. This company takes out tons of fees and after a year I have only had one debt paid off.

This company is horrible! They put me in more debt than what I am supposed to. They care more about getting paid than helping you out. I am writing to address a crucial issue concerning the recent credit settlement made with your company. Unfortunately, the outcome has resulted in a significant discrepancy that has negatively impacted my credit standing beyond initial expectations. The handling of the settlement by your attorneys has been unsatisfactory, primarily due to poor communication and an apparent oversight in the final settlement amount. The discrepancy lies in the fact that the account, initially totaling $10,080, was settled for $10,000, a difference of $80. Furthermore, the imposition of $3,500 in settlement fees has added further confusion and frustration to this matter. Moreover, despite my withdrawal of accounts from your services, I have been made aware that fees continue to be collected for an unsettled account. This has raised serious concerns regarding the accuracy and integrity of the settlement process. I have pulled out of this program and they are still collecting fees. This company is by far the worst settlement company I have ever been in.
