National Processing Promises

National Processing makes promises that are commonly ignored in the merchant account industry.

First, the merchant account provider commits itself to be transparent in all credit card processing relationships.

Second, it promises that it won't hold customers to an annual contract, meaning there is no early termination fee. 

Finally, it promises not to raise the original rates provided to each merchant. The monthly fee and processing fees you pay at the start of your merchant account are what you will pay for the duration of your contract.

Lowest Price Guarantee 

In addition to its competitive rates, National Processing offers a price guarantee: if it can't beat a competitor's rates, the company will pay you $500.

A friend of mine was representing their company, so I switched to it. I had a lot of challenges, not necessarily with National Processing itself, but with their connecting gateway company. There are some software changes I'd like them to implement though. For instance, to check all your transactions and movements in your account, National Processing has two separate accounts that you have to look at to see everything. The other two programs that we use in our other businesses have everything under one account. Because of that difference, I stopped logging into the other account that came with my National Processing service. Still, I think they're pretty great.

great coverage on locations. We are a mobile food truck, travelling to many in town and out of town events. Anywhere you have cell service you have a reliable single, easy to use device. We have tried others previous to National and would rather just accept cash than to go through the headaches and lost revenue from any other competitors products and/or devices.

I use National Processing for my web page. It gives me the freedom to change my checkout and add new options as often as I want. They always notify me as soon as I have a purchase so I can deliver my customers product quickly and efficiently. The money is deposited into my bank by the end if the day. Customer service is awesome! I've been with them for two years and have never had a problem

My nephew was involved with them and I like knowing who I'm dealing with you know. I like knowing who I can talk to personally if I want to get things done. He's not working there anymore, but I have a specific person that I talk to if I need anything. It's this person and people like him that keep me with National Processing. In general, customer service is good. If you have a problem, they'll take care of it. However, when it comes to being transparent, they are not that great. They sometimes add or change prices and things that they don't notify you about. If there's a problem, if you're not being compliant or something, they should call you and let you know those things.

The service seemed good and, with the pricing and the customized packages, it all sounded like a great thing to get. As far as I know, my customers are satisfied and have had no issues with the system. Customer service does its job well and takes care of everything immediately. They're just very friendly, knowledgeable, and pay attention to details. The job gets done in a timely manner and they resolve your problems.

We used to be a branch from another business and since we were going to become retailers we needed a way to take payments from our customers. That's why we went with National Processing. Once they helped me set everything up on our computer, it was super easy to process payments. I'm not really a computer person, but the process is fairly simple and easy to understand, it just works great. I haven't had to use customer support much since then, things have just gone very smoothly.

They had good reviews for their service and offered us the best rates. That's why we picked them. I ran into a little bit of an issue when I tried to add another machine. Deposits weren't being made to the account and things turned into a real mess. It took us a couple of weeks to figure everything out. Still, everything works really well. The business rep that helps us does an excellent job at handling any issues that comes up.

They work with a company called Tranont and since I'm with them I got to save a little when I got National Processing. We just use their online gateway, we don't really need the software, but that looks ancient. It's just very plain, not modern looking at all, and it's not the easiest system to get around in. It could use some work. Customer service is good, they know who I am when I call them. They're always very helpful to me and my clients, plus they're very personable. It's a good service.

I haven't really used customer support much, thank goodness. The service itself is good though. As for the system, I'm not sure if the way the ticket is formatted and comes out is my favorite, but it's good.

It was referred to me through Tranont since we're part of it. The system is super user friendly, anybody can use it easily. It was a safe system and we were able to get payments quickly. It helped our business. They have been able to answer all the questions that we've had and responded to all of our concerns. The only time things were difficult was when we were trying to cancel the service. It took a long time before they responded to us in that matter. We're still having issues with that since they're still deducting a certain fee from our account.

If anything comes up, customer support answers my questions promptly. The salesman was excellent. He was very responsive. Customer service was the opposite. We had never used a credit card terminal before nor individual credit card swipers. After signing up for the service, it took almost a month to receive any equipment. After the equipment arrived, there weren't any written instructions as to how to set it up and use it. All that was received was a welcome e-mail with a number of links to watch videos as to how to use the equipment. I had to spend several hours writing instructions for the staff here which should have been provided to us. Also, it was sometimes difficult to contact customer service. Sometimes i would call and the phone would go unanswered. If I called looking for the person I was working with, he always wasn't available. I would then leave a message for him but it appeared he would never receive it as there was no return phone call. The person tried hard to help but wouldn't always follow through on what he said he would do. He did take the time to walk me through over the phone on how to set up the equipment. However, after properly setting up the terminal, it still didn't work. It was determined that we had received the incorrect equipment. After receiving new equipment, we were still having issues with the terminal not working properly. We did receive new equipment yet for the third time. After not hearing from customer service for awhile, I contacted our sales rep through a dis-satisfactory e-mail and asked to cancel our service. Our sales rep., not wishing that, basically took over and did what customer service was supposed to do all along and walked me through the use of the terminal and swipers. He made sure there were no issues as we went along. Everything is fine as of now, but I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get to this point. I was disappointed that there wasn't any follow up response by the customer service manager after he was indirectly informed of my dissatisfaction. I did try to contact him, but he would always supposedly be in a meeting.

I'd like them to send a newsletter or something of the sort with updates to let us know when the rates change. I know that the government mandates they do that and it'd be nice to know when that happens.

It was explained to me before I signed on that it takes 2 to 2 1/2 days to transfer money to my account but once I was established that could be shortened to 1 day. after a number of months I called and requested someone to look into the time frame for transferring money to my account, never heard back. disappointed.

Where do I start. It was absolutely horrible on so many levels. The machine charged my customers several times per customer per purchase and I was required to pay the difference out of pocket and wait several weeks to get reimbursed. When I couldn’t afford the charges being made to my customers and the bad repetition it was giving my company and tried to cancel. The company again over charged me cancelation fees, and tried to charge me for the processing machine that I had bought out. Then when settled kept harassing me for months saying I owed them. And had to keep proving I didn’t owe anything. Worst company ever.

I was starting a new business from scrap, so I needed a service like theirs. I actually liked their web portal thingy, it was just a little hard to understand sometimes. I actually ended up canceling after a bit and doing that took a while. I didn't really get any information about the cancellation process or anything. I was still getting billed for some things after I thought everything had been canceled.

They were the provider with the lowest cost, that's why we picked it. The equipment is just average, there's nothing spectacular about it. It gets the job done. Their customer service is really bad, they don't call you back when they say they will. They need to work on that and on getting written procedures for installing, quitting, and maintaining their equipment. They have none of that right now.

Got us up in running in 5 hrs, set us up with a virtual account to process via a tablet or any device until our machine was overnighted. By far the best I have dealt with. He even texted me during this rush process. Didn't have to spend nonsense time trying to speak to a rep, they were on point. Highly recommended! Thanks

We have been very happy with National Processing. We tried another processing company but they stuck us with higher fees for for things like charge backs & other items. We came back quickly and have enjoyed working with them ever since (as well as before!). There are lots of other companies that will promise you anything to get your business but National Processing has be upfront and honest with us.

I have to say that national processing is the BOMB. No years of a lease agreement or any types of small fine print that you can’t see. They are very helpful throughout any process you decide to go through. Customer service is top notch. I would recommend anyone who has merchant services to join up with these guys. Bar none the best. I sold my business and no cancelation fees. Bank of America merchant services, you are terrible!!!!

National Processing us has allowed us to get a much better handle on our accounts receivable. The low cost or their EFT/ACH transactions have allowed us to process payments faster than waiting for checks from our clients and offer a huge savings over credit card transactions. We have found their credit card fees to be competitive as well. Their customer service has also been excellent on the rare occasions we have needed to call.

This is my first year with NP. Been having a difficult time settling batches. They have provided excellent service to fix the problems. We don't believe it is on their end but on mine. I am trying to use a phone line and it just isn't working. I believe its the sorry phone line I have with AT&T. I am a seasonal vendor (Christmas Trees) so my issues are often not taken seriously by AT&T. If NP had not taken me seriously I probably couldn't take CC's.
