Cayan does receive a good amount of positive reviews, but many of the negative customer reviews floating around the web (on social media, on Best Company, and on other review sites) concern issues with billing. I had seen it used in a couple of retailers in the area, so I decided to get it. The rep that I've worked with has been excellent. He helped me through the whole process and has been in contact with me several times to make sure everything's good. Everything has been working excellent. The accounting software is really easy to use and I haven't had any issues with it. The rate I get for the charges has been excellent and very competitive. All the fees are in line with what I expected. Everything they have reported to me has been true, they've delivered on their promises. There's no issue that they couldn't resolve for me.

I knew exactly what it was all going to cost me from the beginning. They just explained all the charges to me and I knew how much the dock station would cost me per year and how much of a percentage that was, there was no charge per transaction or anything of the sort. That was the reason why I got it. When I first got the credit card reader there was a bit of a misunderstanding. I had thought that as long as I had the thing connected to the wireless internet things would be ok. It turned out I needed to plug in a cable to the machine for it to work but they took care of that situation and helped me sort that out. Since then, everything has been working well. I'd like them to simplify the machine a bit more though, that way the other people that help me run the business can use it too. Still, they're doing everything I want them to do. I'm happy with it.

I was with World Pay before and their fees were unbelievable. Even if I didn't process a single card in a month, I was still paying $185 a month in regular fees. That's why I switched. Since my account is new I called them just this morning to make sure everything is set up well. They got everything done very quickly and efficiently. My questions were answered and they were very pleasant about it. I'm only using the virtual terminal, but it's very efficient, easy to use, and it works fine. So far I've processed 3 fairly sizable credit card transactions this month and the fees and rates have been reasonable. The monthly fee was $36 so it's already great compared to my previous experience.

Several years ago I was searching on the internet for a service like this. There were three different companies that I was considering, but Cayan was by far the most professional one. Customer service is great. I've had one problem that I needed to call them for and within 35 seconds of me describing it they were able to solve the problem. It was great. I usually use the web interface that they have, I don't really use their equipment. It works flawlessly and I can always remember my password. There's just a few things on the virtual terminal interface that I think could be changed. It's nothing big, just adding borders, numbering the pages, or doing some improvements to the visual aspect of it. It's sometimes a bit confusing to know if you're closing a term, sending a batch, etc. I mean, I'm 66 years old, so stuff like that and having little clues and tips would be great to help people figure things out. Other than that, it works flawlessly every time. I love the built in email receipts features and my customers love it too.

I got it many years ago, I think the rates were probably the reason I chose them. Any problems that I've had were resolved pretty quickly by customer support. I never had any problems finding the right department and the right people to address my needs. They never hung up on me and everything was resolved. The only thing I'd like them to change is how they do the monthly statements. I used to get a paper statement of my monthly activities and such from my past provider and I liked that. Cayan sends a monthly email with my statements and usually I have to print it out. I'd like them to just mail me that statement, that would be my only suggestion. Still, I've been satisfied. Their prices are very competitive, especially since the other companies out there do pretty much the same thing. I trust them.

It was one of the few options that we looked into and it was probably the best thing for me. I've had some issues lately though I'm not sure it's an actual thing. It might just be something technical but customer service has responded alright. My interactions with them have been positive so far. The platform and everything is alright, it's got all I need. The software is all pretty straightforward. It works for me and it's all very convenient. I also like that I have access to it 24/7. The equipment itself I don't really need it much, and I've actually been meaning to call them to ask some questions about it all. For the service they offer it's all pretty competitive. It's effective and if it didn't give me good value as a business owner I wouldn't use them.

I have a very small retail business so I was considering all payment options. I gave Cayan a call and I learned a lot. In the end I signed up with them. In all honestly, I haven't actually used it yet, but from the people that I've worked with and those that deal with different payment systems I know that they are highly regarded and reputable. Especially in terms of customer service they're regarded as the best. The person that I've dealt with has been really good. Customer support is really friendly. They have been prompt whenever I had a question or an inquiry. They've emailed me or called me back within minutes. Actually, they follow up with me within thirty minutes of me first contacting them. It has been a positive experience. I think that they should look to get mobile payment options instead of using swipe, especially since everything seems to going that way.

We just needed it at the time you know. I had been with Merchant Warehouse before Cayan bought the company and took over so we decided to just stick with it. The service has been good so far and I'm happy with it. Compared to Merchant Warehouse they have a much better customer service. Every time I call them I get an answer. I do have to wait a little bit on hold, and I'd like them to improve that, but I guess every company does that. I've never had a problem with them and they've answered my questions. I've had no issue whatsoever with the equipment, it's working for me. I want to stick with them since loyalty is important for us, but they could do a bit better with the price and rates.

When we were opening our shop here in Toledo my husband researched the different companies that were available. Since they could work with Lightspeed, our POS system, Cayan was perfect match for us. We also had a friend who had experience using it and he actually backed it up and recommended it. That gave us the confidence of knowing that they would be an excellent choice for our business. We had some difficulty at first connecting to the merchant terminal. We had to call on a weekend night and we were actually able to get customer support at that time. The person stayed on the phone with us the entire time as we were pushing buttons and she was incredibly patient. We got it all up and running, we really couldn't have done it without them. Some of the other services here have trouble with their POS systems but ours is so smooth and easy. Adding inventory is so easy and the training that they gave us to learn it was awesome. We've never had any problem. I also like that everything is seamless. We get paid quickly, typically on the very next day after a purchase was made. Since we're selling very expensive bikes that's helpful. It's all fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and I can keep track of our account easily. They've recommended solutions and things to us so we can build our system up and we've implemented some of those things. They just provide us with the support we need.

Since I'm an author I decided to go with them because they had the best prices and the easiest customer service out there. In the beginning I was having some issues with the receipts since my personal address would appear on it and I didn't want that. At first they wouldn't take my Po Box, but eventually they found a way to get around that. I was thankful for that since the service is good and I didn't want to have to cancel it. I mostly use it for book signings, but I know that I can go ahead and sell my books personally. I like having the option of taking cards since I don't really carry much cash with me. It is very easy to use too, and I can see where the money is coming from and everything.

We love our Cayan services! Mike L was was excellent when working with us and I would highly recommend going through Michael with any questions you may have. The customers like the high tech terminals and feel more secure using it then our previous payment terminal and it integrates with our software perfectly and the customer service that is provided is great (sometimes the operators I speak with are hard to understand with all the tech talk, but they will repeat anything if I have questions).

We got it to make it more convenient and easy for my customers to pay with credit cards. Overall we've been pretty happy but we've had an ongoing situation with them. It has taken them a while to get our company's address changed after we moved locations. It took them more than 2 weeks to update it and even then they got the address wrong. They put it down as Winchester Avenue when it should be Winchester Road. I called in to report it and was told that they would fix it, but to this day they haven't taken care of that. I wish they had a quicker turn around for that kind of situations. Other than that, we're having no problems processing credit card payments. It's all very easy to do and the system is very user friendly.

I've used other companies before where their tech support and customer service were both terrible. Cayan is excellent though. The system is very effective, responsive, and up to date. Both tech support and customer service are excellent too. I always get a person when a call, it's not a robot or an answering machine. If I ever have to leave a message, they call me back. The only suggestion I have is giving smaller companies the option for lower fees.

We got the cheapest interest rate with them, that's why I signed up. I've never had any failures with the system, but the customer support I've received hasn't been that great. I don't remember anything specific, just that I called with questions and got frustrated enough with them that I hung up. It wasn't enough for me to stop using Cayan, but I don't feel like customer service can help me, I need to talk to the person that signed me up instead. I do like that when I refer someone to them and get them to sign up I get a $100 check. That's pretty nice.

I liked the way they ran their business and, since their prices were reasonable, I signed up. I only use the little gizmo that works with the smart phone but that works fine. I do wish it that the software was a bit more responsive when I swipe cards. We've been using the service for over a year and it has been 100% reliable. We've had no problems with it. It's all very simple to work with and understand. We can process credit cards quickly without having to input a lot of unnecessary information. We don't mind the fees, I'm satisfied with the pricing since that and have no objections about it. The only thing I'd like them to do is email us the transactions as soon as they get processed. That way we'd have a list of all the transactions we could make sure that it's all being processed.

I've been with them for a long time. I signed up with a different company initially and they eventually changed the name to Cayan. They're easy to work with and have given me no problems at all. I've really only had 4 or 5 problems where I needed their help and they've come through every time. I'm older and not really computer savvy but they always treat me very nicely and don't seem to be short tempered at all. I've had people come to my store trying to sell me their services, but I've declined every time. I'm just satisfied with Cayan and I feel like I can depend on them.

I went with them since they seemed to be easy to use and the rates they had seemed good. Customer service has always been very friendly and fast with results. I've never had any issues with them. Sometimes the swiping device doesn't seem to connect, sometimes it does. I actually stopped using it because of that. Everything else works fine though. I'd like them to eventually have a flat rate across the board, regardless of whether or not you use the swiping device. I hope that comes true someday.

They have good rates and great service, that's why I went with them. Whenever I have a question or a problem, customer service seems to find the solution very quickly. The equipment has always worked well. It's a wonderful machine for people to operate. It doesn't give you any loud or annoying sound when a card needs to be removed. When a card is being processed it gives a pleasant sound. Actually, I've heard that from a lot of my customers, they like it.

I have a business and I needed something like this. Since they were reasonably priced I went ahead and got it. I've been with them for a lot of years now and I've had absolutely no problems with their customer support. They always answer the phone. I've not been able to get my reader to work though. It hasn't really been that big of a problem since we're a small business and the app itself works. We really haven't bothered to try and get a new reader. Though I'd like to be able to use the app on an iPhone since my sister has one, it'd be nice.

Sometimes the customer service has the correct answer, sometimes they don't. I do like that they have 3 different options to process payments and they are all great. The only issue that has really made me angry was when I bought the hand held device, the card reader thing some 3 years before those systems were actually in place. They didn't send me the easy record system, instead they sent a phone one and when I tried to transmit the information, it wiped it all completely. They need to be more careful with the equipment and documentation that they sent out. It was a headache to deal with that. In the end it worked, but they keep trying to get me a new device when I don't need it. Other than that, I get a great response from them.

The equipment is easy to use, though I do think that their new go central program is inadequate. It could be improved, but since it's brand new we expect them to work on it. Originally I had signed up with Merchant Warehouse but somewhere along the line it got changed over to Cayan. I don't know if that was a merger or if something else happened. They're much easier to deal with than Merchant Warehouse though. Everything is quicker and easier. I've been really happy with it.

I did some research and thought they were a good company, so I went with them. The system is the best. It works really quickly and is very accurate. They've always answered my questions and solved my problems right away. I'd like it if they could give me a break on the prices, maybe lower the fees a little, but otherwise they're a great company.

Originally the company that I was doing business with did not upgrade to the higher level of windows, so I had to find somebody else. So far everything has been perfect. They've helped me every time I've needed them. The only problem that I ever had was of my own doing. They're wonderful and I can't say enough nice things about them.

I got it based on a friend's recommendation. The equipment has always worked perfectly and every time I've needed to talk to anyone I get an immediate response. My only suggestion would be getting American Express to process a bit faster if that's possible. I think that would make everyone happy, but that's about it.

I signed up because I liked the rep that I talked to and the information that he gave me. Whenever I contact them, they always get me the solutions that I need. The software is good, I like the apps that they provide. With them we are able to see the merchant information and know what's going on with the account.

We got the machine for free and it came with a low rate on the service itself. At one point we had some issues with our card machine and had to call customer support. They were very friendly and helped us fix the issue. In fact, whenever we call they have always been able to resolve our problems.

They were my best and only choice when it came to Point of Sale Systems. Everything is great. They've given me great service and technical support on any issues that come up. The equipment is the latest that's out there. Our customers feel comfortable using it too since it's a well known machine.

They were the only merchant service available through the software that I use, so I just went with it. I don't use their equipment but their online services and software is great. It's all pretty much self explanatory and very, very easy to use.

I spoke to a friend of mine who had Cayan and they recommended I get it too, so I did. The equipment works well, I'm pleased with it. Every issue I've ever had has been solved quickly and done to my satisfaction. The one thing I'm not very happy about is that I have requested a copy of one of my statements but I never received it.

I signed up with them because they were compatible with my POS system. Customer support has always answered my questions. Though I do think it's a bit hard to get help sometimes since they have all these numbers, codes, and digits that you need to give them before they get to helping you. I haven't had any issues with the system as of yet.

I switched to Cayan because I just hated Paypal. Customer service always gets right back to me on anything. I do everything online with them, don't really use their equipment, just their software. I'd like them to email me my statements. I don't ever get them on my email and I have to go to their website to get that, so I'd like them to just mail it my way. My experience with them has been fine, I'm happy with the company.

Cayan was recommended to us by the people that we work with on our register system. I've only had it for a couple of months, but so far everything has been great. The equipment is nice and fast. It processes just about every kind of credit card and even apple pay. It's great.
