I have discovered hat Mobile Help does work. I have been using it fort only a few weeks, but it has worked fine. A few times I have dropped the pendant and they have responded with an alert warning. I can press the button within a few seconds to let them know it is a false alarm. However, last week I did fall and it was an emergency. I was visiting my wife in a nursing home and was on a carpet, using my cane, and still took a bad fall. The alarm immediately went off and I was able to talk with someone. By that time 2 nurses appeared and helped me. I did go to the emergency at the hospital for Xrays and brain scan. (all OK)

5 Stars from Us We literally received the monitoring device and had it set up and hanging around my mothers neck less than 10 hours when she took a fall at 5:00 am and rescue was dispatched, myself and my siblings were all notified as soon as it happened as well. I live less than 10 minutes away and rescue was waiting at the front door waiting for me and did not bust the door down because they made verbal contact through the window with my mother. My only regret was not putting the key box outside that evening before I left, not thinking that less than 10 hours later on day 1 we would be using this system. Nothing but 👍double thumbs up 👍 for this system and Mobile Help as it performed flawlessly !!! Thank you Again and this is Def worth the investment.

Just recently got for my mom. Person who helped me over the phone was very informative and helpful. He was very knowledgeable. My mom's only had MobileHelp for almost of month and she hasn't had to use at all. But we have tested her unit and it seems in great working order. I feel like this company will do a great job if and when it is needed. I can rest easier now knowing if my mom needs assistance, she will get it right away if she is unable to get help herself! We did pay for the whole year up front. Some of the questions I didn't feel I was able to answer at the point as we are still new to MobileHelp.

The gentleman I talked to was very informative and professional as well as friendly. I find it difficult that I am unable to respond using the pendant as there is no microphone in the pendant. If I have a fall and the pendant recognizes it and reports the fall I might be unable to cancel the call if it's only a minor fall. I would have to walk or crawl to the main station - the only device with a microphone included with it. Otherwise, the system seems to be fine. During my first test call I spent a few minutes with a representative of the company going over the functions etc. The pace was pretty quick but I think I understood everything. Perhaps a little slower with the explanations would be helpful. In general I'm happy with the system and hope I never have to use it!!!

I switched to MobileHelp after a nightmare experience with Medical Guardian after my device became defective. Although I have not yet had the need to request emergency assistance, the initial discussion and subsequent process was extremely professional, complete, specific and detailed, in phone conversations and printed materials. I have received concise and clear responses to all questions. I chose the mobile option without fall detection, find it easy to wear and offering the security that I will receive emergency assistance in my home, near environs or when travelling. The device is easy to use, the testing simple and straight forward, the warning when battery power is running low very helpful.

He was very thorough in explaining the system with all the details and he was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. Buyers Beware - I compared MobileHelp to Medical Guardian - The salesperson was a bit high pressure, but I think he was trying to provide me with good service & info. He kept reassuring me that it was 100% free if we cancel during our trial period - with the free trial and 100% refund, I agreed and ordered the top product for my Dad, who gave me a very tepid & unenthusiastic OK. make sure I communicate. However, his stubbornness won out and I needed to return items. A little time-lapse ensued but also in all, they did take care of me and initially did not provide a full refund but I wroth them, explained what I expected and the next day meet my needs. That build their reputation and pleased me wth the balance of the refund. Very grateful. Thanks for your service. I would recommend MobileHelp to my friends and family.

Update, 10/12/20, I was contacted by a technical support supervisor at Mobile Help who did a great job resolving my issue with my medical alert device. The original phone call was recorded by Mobile Help at the time of my reporting a problem with my alert device. The tech support supervisor stated the person I spoke with was out of line and was re-assigned to a new job. The company refunded 2 months of service fees covering the 2 months my device was not working properly. The company also refunded the cost of mailing my defective G3 device and replaced the old device with the newest G4 device which works just fine with the understanding that if I am not satisfied with the new G4 device then I can return it in the next 90 days at no cost to me. The company went way beyond my expectations to resolve this issue. I'm a very satisfied customer. End update. I have been a customer of Mobile Help for 7 years. I never had an issue with the company until now. I recall years ago; the main alarm unit wasn’t working right but I don’t recall the exact problem. The company happily and immediately replaced the main alarm unit without hesitation. Recently, in August 2020, the main alarm unit stopped making a reliable connection between the alarm box and the cell tower it was accessing. When the alarm box could not make a connection with a cell tower then the lights would start blinking constantly. For weeks, the box would only sporadically make a connection rendering the service unusable. I tried an experiment. I turned the box off with the power switch on the back. I waited to give the box time to reset. Then I turned the unit back on. Everything seemed to work fine for a while. Correct time and date. The lights did not blink like before for a while. Then the problem returned. So, I started watching the alarm box display. What I noticed was when there was at least 1 bar of connection, like on a cell phone, then the lights did not blink. When there were zero bars then the lights went back to blinking again. The blinking lights never got better. On September 14, 2020, I called tech support and explained the problem. I found the tech support rude and unwilling to listen to me. I explained that I had already tried the “reset” fix he was suggesting and that it failed. The guy refused to accept that I had already tried his solution without success. To make the guy happy then I tried the reset fix again. The system had the same result as when I reset the box. I tried to explain that the box will fail again within a short while but since the box was working at that moment then he considered the problem solved. I’m a very sick senior citizen and need a reliable alarm system to call for help. So, I told the tech support guy that I wasn’t satisfied with his solution because he didn’t actually solve the problem. I knew the system would fail again just like it did the night before when I reset the box. I told the guy that I wanted to close my account. Tech support stated that as soon as I returned the equipment then they would close my account. I asked if he could text me the return information and he said he could not do that. So, I asked if he would email me the return information, and I was told he was unable to do that either. I got tired of this guy’s attitude and behavior so I told him I was going to end the call and speak to customer service instead. So, I called customer service and it was they who volunteered to email all the return information to my email address on file. It cost me $25.00 to return the alarm system to the company. They did not offer to pay for return shipping. I still can’t figure out why they would make a loyal 7-year customer pay for return shipping. I guess I wasn’t such a valued customer after all. My only real regret is that I persuaded my parents to get a medic-alert system from this company. Dad is on hospice care who visits him in his home. They operate a 24/7 nurse hotline which he can speed dial on his phone to get help at any time of the day for free. I seriously regret getting my parents involved with Mobile Help.

My step dad had 3 falls in his own home, resulting in severe head injuries and subsequent death a few months later. Luckily, my mom was there to care for him and call 911 each time he fell. After his passing, I began to worry about my mother living alone. She is in her 80's. Who would notify the paramedics should she fall in the middle of the night?? It was then that I researched medical alert systems and ultimately decided upon Mobile Help. From Day 1 it has given me a piece of mind knowing that, God forbid, an emergency arises, help will be there within minutes. My mom has the wrist unit which she wears 24/ 7. It is able to withstand daily showers, too. In addition, she has the necklace fall detector which is very sensitive! For example, my mom sat down on her sofa a bit too abruptly, and the alarm sounded. My mom was mortified and startled, but I was thrilled. Although a "false alarm", this was proof positive that the unit DOES work and help is readily available. My mother and I were astounded by how caring and understanding the monitoring folks were. They did not make my mom feel ashamed about the false call, but rather reassured her repeatedly, "We are glad to hear you are alright, Maam. Is there anything we can do for you?" Wow! What a piece of mind for both she and I! There have been other false alarms with the necklace fall detector since then. If you bend down, the necklace will sway back and forth. It may trigger the alarm if it hits your chest too firmly. However, as mentioned before, I am thrilled that the unit is that sensitive and the monitoring personnel are on their toes and ready to send help at a moment's notice. The GPS unit is tucked inside my mom's purse when she is traveling away from home. It gives us a sense of security, as well. We can only RAVE about our experiences with Mobile Help, thus far!

I give MobileHelp my highest accolades. While they were only able to provide my mom service for six weeks before her passing, they helped us every step of the way! Even when her fall detector kept going off almost daily until she learned how to use it, they treated every call as if it was an emergency. Just as exceptional, I had purchased a 13-month contract (one year, plus one month free) and when she passed just weeks after getting it set up, they issued me a refund immediately upon receipt of the equipment back to them. We had used another service prior to this one and when I called to cancel the contract, they would not issue me any refund at all and asked me to give the service to someone else and that they did not give any refunds. I am grateful this was not the situation with MobileHelp. In fact, they couldn't have treated my mother or myself any better! Five Stars for you MobileHelp! (Wish I could give you more!)

I can't believe that Best Company ranks MobileHelp as No # 2 and then provides the driest possible description of MobileHelp I've ever read ! Okay, so here's the skinny. I'm in a wheelchair and have a rare muscle wasting disease (GSD IIIa) and when I first decided that a med alert system might be a good idea I had already fallen twice which resulted in a fractured toe the first time and an incredible injury to my knee the second time which sent me to the emergency room. Shortly after that my husband needed to return to Florida to help his Mother transition into a Nursing Home and complete the cleaning out of her house which we had already started. But I knew I was in no shape to go with him so I opted to stay home but the only way I could convince him that I would be okay was by securing the services of a med alert system. I don't even recall the name of my first (or second one), it was so long ago. But I used it happily for years, that is until one day I fell outside, out of my wheelchair as I attempted to wheel up my pitted slopping driveway to get the mail. As my wheelchair rolled back down the drive without me, I lay there, flat on my belly, face to gravel trying to figure a way to at least bring myself into an sitting position. It took awhile. I was wearing my alert button around my neck but the base station was in the house so I would not be able to tell them the problem. Since I knew that once the button was pushed and they didn't hear my voice or know the problem they would probably, by default send for an ambulance I decided NOT to push the button. Why? Because I knew that an ambulance, speeding to my house would never see me as they turned off the street and raced down the sloping drive where I (unbeknownst to them) was laying in their path on the ground . After that I switched to Mobile Help since I can have a two way conversation with them anywhere. I once tested them and asked "Can you tell me where I am?" Well, not only did they know that I was Not at home but never having told them I was traveling across the U.S., they advised me of the exact location, the very address where I was using the buttom from - over 828 miles from my home address! I was impressed, especially since I have read about other GPS services not being able to find a person. And oh, by the way I do NOT and have Never had AT&T service. At home I have a Charter/Spectrum for a landline and cellphone service in my little Vermont village is spotty at best. MobileHelp cost me $119 per quarter BUT you can save $$ if you pay for the entire year upfront. And my price has never increased. I continue to check out other, cheaper mobile med alert type systems but so far I have NOT found one better than MobileHelp.

About a year ago, we purchased the MobileHelp for my father-in-law who, at the time, had recently become a widower (married over 50 years) and now living alone at home. My father-in-law faithfully wears his necklace and arm band alert and over the past year, we have not had any alarming situations until recently. Last week, he had a bad dream, rolled out of bed, hitting his head on the corner of the nightstand. My father-in-law cut the top of his head and was bleeding. He pressed his MobileHelp button, they called him, realized he needed immediate medical attention and dispatched EMS. MobileHelp staff then notified all that were listed on his emergency contacts to notify them of his situation. We are completely satisfied with the MobileHelp alertness and response time.

the product is very efficient & a great comfort to have both around my neck & the "To Go"unit for my car & pocket. i like the self check of the product once a month with the reminder that I asked for. It has got me safely to the hospital at least 3 times & notified my family. Adding a little embarassed humor...I was bent down on one knee pulling a few weeds, I didn't hear any commotion when my son said"mom I think these people are here to see you"I looked up in total surprise to see police, ambulance & fire truck i had no idea how they were called but they were notified by my mobile help.When all said & done I decided it had to have been my knee I wasn't kneeling on that pressed the button & made the call. I"m very careful of the position of my unit since then & very thankful to a very forgiving town.

I have had my Mobile Help Alert for a few years now and have recommended it to several friends who also now use it. I live alone. In January, 2015 I awoke thinking the walls of my room were falling in on me - I realized something was wrong with my vision. I pressed my alert button which was around my neck and very quickly was talking with someone. I told them I thought I was having a stroke. They called 911 and then called my neighbor to come unlock the house. I got out of bed and realized I couldn't walk and was very afraid. The person stayed on the line talking with me until help arrived. I have now fully recovered from the stroke because I was able to get help so quickly! I credit Mobile Help for that quick response and will continue to recommend it to my friends!

I have had my MobileHelp for almost 3 years now and thank goodness haven't had to use it. I love being able to go anywhere, any time and still have the capability of getting help if needed. I am not confined to home. I can go about my daily routines, whether it be to the gym, cleaning house, working in the yard, to the quilting markets, craft stores, grocery store, taking a shower, or even taking my 2 poodles on their morning walk without worrying about being alone, falling, etc. and not being able to get help, as help is always with me at just the push of a button. I know I have 24 hour help available and that is the best security and feeling there is. MobileHelp even contacts you on a monthly basis, if you forget to do a test on your unit, to ensure everything is up to par, which it always has been. Great people, wonderful customer service and a delight to work with them. I would highly recommend MobileHelp as it means what the name implies. You ALWAYS have help at just the push of a button, whether you choose the wrist band or necklace type.

I feel so much better knowing Mom has one of these units. We got her the unit that works within her house and has a mobile component. This will allow us to locate her in the event she was missing. We got it for her three years ago and it is working well. They call periodically to test the unit and make sure she knows how to use it. They also update the unit every year or so at no charge. One time she was getting into the shower and stepped on the pendant as she was climbing in (the necklace is waterproof, but she insists on leaving it right outside the shower) and accidentally set off the pendant, Sort of comical, but since she was taking a shower, she didn't have her hearing aides in, so didn't hear the call to check to see if it was a false alarm. They sent the paramedics, called me, etc. The good news is it "tested" the system Mobile Help has set up for emergencies, which was flawless.

My husband & I had purchased the service for him, but I was the one who used it. I had back surgery in April, and fell three weeks after I came home. I was alone, & worried that I might have hurt my back. I pushed my necklace button, & was immediately talking to a representative. I explained my situation,& he attempted to call my neighbor, but she wasn't home. The representative then called the police & an ambulance service. I went to the emergency room, where an examination showed that I had no serious injuries. I'm so happy that we had signed up with Mobile Help, and I plan to keep it.

I ordered this for my Mother who lives in another state and is caring for our Dad who has dementia. Along with the challenges of caring for him we realized that she was in essence living alone because he was not capable of assisting her if she were to need help. I chose MobileHelp because it had the mobile that she can use when she is away from the house so she is always able to call for help. Ordering was easy and my Mother told me the customer service people were very kind and patient with her. It's works great and I highly recommend it! Recently, I was on vacation in Orillia, Ontario, Canada, I was finishing my vacation, and going home to Buffalo, NY, USA, and decided to make one last stop in Burlington, Ontario, to visit with another cousin. We got on the subject of Medical Alert Systems, and I showed them my Mobile Help unit. I was mentioning that originally, I was told that it would work anywhere where we might be located. So, my cousin said to me, "Have you ever tried it in another country?" I said no, and then I pressed the button, and I thought that the unit was supposed to talk to me, and find out my problem. It didn't talk to me, so i figured that the battery was dead. So, we went about our business and forgot about it. Then about 15 minutes later came a knock at the door, on Gallagher St. in Burlington, Ontario, and two uniformed people were asking "Where's the Emergency?" Well, to make a long story, short, I left there the next morning and headed home to Buffalo, NY, USA. Then, i called "Mobile Help" and discussed the predicament with them. Their answer was, that their units work only in the USA, and not in any other countries. My only concern was, if they knew where I was, in another Country, why didn't they talk to me, through the unit, instead of dispatching a crew, in an ambulance? Maybe, i had a different problem, and maybe, needed a policeman, or a fireman, or any of a bunch of reasons. All i can say, though, is that their GPS in their unit, brought them to the right address in Burlington, Ontario. Thank you Mobile Help.

My father has been part of the MobileHelp family since 2010. When MobileHelp offered a new service called MobileHelp Connect I joined as soon as I could. One of the features allows me to receive notifications (email or text). One of the notifications is called 'low battery'. When his Mobile Device signals a low battery, I receive a text and I simply call and remind him to place the unit on the charger. Another notification that came in handy last weekend when Hurricane Matthew came up the Florida Coast. My dad evacuated to a safer location and although he took his Mobile Device with him, he left his Base Station. The Base Station sent me a text notification when the electricity went out. 26 hours later, I promptly received a 'power restore' notice too. I was able to call my dad on his cell to let him know it was a good time to start the journey back home. MobileHelp Connect can also send notifications when the system is tested or actual emergencies too. Luckily I have not receive an actual emergency text but it comforting to know when I'm not close in proximity to my dad I feel assured if anything has happen, I will be notified.

I purchased this product/service for myself and my parents. The piece of mind it has given me is priceless. My parents are in their 90s and my dad still drives to the store occasionally and they live on their own. The mobility feature is the best. When they leave the house they take it with them faithfully. That can't be said for their cell phone. The product came quickly to their home and customer service made sure it was working. My parents were able to customize who would be called if help was needed, fitting nicely into their established network of caregivers. Even the annual collection of payment is convenient so no one needs to worry about monthly payments. Thank you so much, MobileHelp!

Watch is comfortable to wear. I haven't had to use for emergency. Hope I won't have to, but it's good to know that I have it if I do. Set up was very easy, the bathroom device is small enough to place anywhere.

I'm frustrated by how often the batteries need to be charged. I was led to believe it would just be the initial charge, but im getting notifications all the time of low battery. Also, my inlaws find the fall detection overly sensitive and they go off too easily when it's not an emergency.

Service is poor! I made a shoulder-high test long back but the result was not communicated for a long time. The package did not include any LOCKBOX. No response about this missing LOCKBOX for weeks even after reminders. Even after repeated reminders, the LOCKBOX was mailed only by GROUND! The LOCKBOX did not fit my door handle but no response from MobileHelp! I had to arrange myself a SHURLOCK to make your LOCKBOX fit in my door handle.
