I did a little online research and saw it was rated very highly, and it seemed to have the features that I wanted. I hope I never have to use it, but I'm glad it's there. When I first signed up, though, what I was buying was not made very clear to me, and there was some confusion that we had to iron out afterward. I am also going to see about getting a different band for the wrist thing, just because that plastic band is very hot.

My daughter decided to get this for me, I use it all the time. I don't find the hand thing that comfortable. It's just big and I have skinny arms. It hurts, in fact I got a lump from it. That's why I wear the necklace. The first one I got kept going off so I had to mail it back and get another one. Sometimes I would be sitting down with nothing happening and, when I turn, the thing would go off. I kept getting nervous when that happened and I couldn't respond well. I try to answer the machine to turn it off but I had trouble with that. It also takes them a long time to respond and I also got missed calls. One time it took them 5 minutes to answer. That happened at 4 o'clock in the morning when I was in bed. I must have turned over and leaned on it. I'm not that satisfied yet. I also think it's very expensive.

In our research we looked at other companies to compare, and decided on MobileHelp. The one time that my mother has had to use the device, the response was immediate. I like the options the she has. She's using the necklace pendant and the bracelet, and then she also has a device that she can carry with her.

We saw this one featured in the AARP magazine. I put it on from morning till night, because I have only one leg and my family was concerned about the falls I was having. The only customer support I had was initially when I decided to buy it. The fellow who sold it to me was very meticulous about going through everything that was in there, and how it was to be used, so he was good. The device is convenient and works well. It is a little touchy; because there have been false alarms, like how it would just go off while I was sitting.

The person I contacted was really thorough in his presentation of how MobileHelp works. He explained that it was like always having another person walking beside me, so that if I fell down, it would automatically call for help. The way it was explained to me it was very clear and easy to understand, and it sounded like just what I need, because I was walking for about 25 to 30 minutes to get to the nearest stores and restaurants.

The main reason I wanted MobileHelp was that they had the wristband instead of just a necklace. I wear it just like a watch; it's on my wrist all the time, with no problem at all. it's also a pretty good deal. I called in to test it and I got an immediate action, so it sounds good to me, and it's working now.

They were right there on the line with us, they explained everything to us, and they were still talking with us when the ambulance arrived. She says she loves the device.

We saw an ad in the paper. When we called, the young man who answered was extremely nice and he answered all our questions. We've never had the kind of emergency that would require using it, but we got it just in case. The bracelet is way too big; it falls right off my arm. That's not really any good, so I wear the pendant, but it doesn't really look like jewelry, and it kind of sticks out. It was very easy for us to set up, and it is very convenient.

I'm mostly satisfied with how fast they connect me to their technicians or somebody else in the company when I call, and I definitely like the compactness of the device and the overall availability of the service. It's very easy to carry, especially the wristband and the pendant, but even the mobile piece, too. It's much better than the very big one I had from another company. I use it when I drive to my appointments, and the pendant is great in the shower and otherwise when I'm alone at home.

I compared several companies, and talked to several people, and the customer service person that helped me explained it, and it just seems the best choice. I wear the one around my neck in the house. It's nationwide. It goes coast to coast. I haven't had to use it yet, but it comes in handy because I have a tendency to fall down a lot. I read the descriptions of what's offered, and it seems it fits my needs. I have ended up with way too much equipment, though. I have a fall button, a regular button, a wristwatch, and a base station. It's a bit much. I called and cancelled the fall button service because it went off without me doing anything, and I had a fire truck, along with an ambulance and support police car, coming to my house 7:50 in the morning. That was very upsetting. The fall button apparently is too sensitive. I was just in the process of getting dressed, simply moving my body around, and that's it; went off, so I discontinued that part. When I first called to ask a question, the fellow who answered was very patient and did a very good job in walking me through the process. After that I called on another occasion to asked a question about the fall button or something and I spoke to somebody who gave me additional information that I had not had previously about the placement of the base station. They were very nice to work with. On one occasion, though, the company called and left a message on my machine. When I called them back, they said the had no record of making a call, but when I played it back to them, they acknowledged that it was from them in spite of that. So, between that and the bad fall button, I'm a little annoyed with the company. I'm giving serious thought to maybe dropping them or not renewing it.

My mother has dementia, and has had a stroke, so she can't speak. With that, I have one of the devices in the car all the time, and I have the other device in the bedroom on the stand next to my bed. Everything seems to be okay, and it's easy to use the devices. The value is good; it's the going price for home alert systems.

I have a sister-in-law who checked and said that they were number two in the rankings. I felt that was good enough for me. We got it because of my wife's illness. This device was very sensitive, and somebody called. Apparently they tuned it up a little bit more for not ringing easily. If we moved and laid the device down on a bed or floor, or on the table, it would go off a couple of times, but it's working fine right now.

I think they were just having a special when I was shopping for one. I have used it a couple of times. My main issue is that it seems like someone is screaming into the microphone when they call to check on me. When they do that it gets staticky and I can't hear what they're saying.

My son got this one for me because we got the button, the watch and the speaker phone for when we go out, so if I fall somewhere outside I can call for help. I have it around my neck 24 hours a day, and I feel safe with it. The button is very sensitive, but it's good, and I would recommend them all the way.

The price is good and their customer service was good. The device was easy to use and convenient. They were very explanatory and just really nice to talk to. The only thing that I do not like was that since we returned the device because they switched my husband's medication and he did not need the device anymore, it's a process to get your refund back. They're telling me it could take up to 30 days. We returned the device but they still haven't credited our account back.

The lady that I spoke to when I called helped me be sure this was the right one for me. I just got it about a month ago, and I haven't needed to press any buttons. The service has been good so far. It's comfortable, but I had to change the chain on the one that I wear because it was too long.
