extremely helpful w/ set up, when we have called w/ questions. Only suggestion is for hard of hearing-my father in law is using this and when he sleeps and removes hearing aids he didn't hear it when he accidentally set it off. I would recommend a strobe to the base unit

My mom said she look and a lot ot people were at her house and she didn't know why until she was told that she must had hit the button by mistake. the response time is excellent. weather the notification is false alarm. customer service representative answers in an expedient manner to the call. Quality of products are easy to wear. No buckles are clasps that maybe to hard to secure monitor.

It is a blessing and a curse. My husband with Parkinsons should wear it all the time, but often refuses which makes it a useless tool. The strength of the speaker at the base unit is not strong enough for him to hear on the other side of the house. So if he triggers the system he does not even know and could result in a false alarm. It has, by and large been handy and we appreciate the connectivity.

The system is complicated for people in their 70's+ to fully understand. There are wrist bands, a fall pendant, a mobile device and a base unit. Only one actually tracks falls and if you're out of the house, you need the mobile unit. But the wrist bands don't track falls. Try explaining this to someone who doesn't know technology and is in their late 70's or older. Then expect them to remember it, even if they seem to get it after explaining it a few times. Not easy. Also, if there is a false alarm and someone reaches out over the base unit, if it's too far away they can't hear it or the base unit can't pick up their response. Small houses or apartments probably work better than a big house. A solution is needed for bigger houses because if you're not in the room with the base unit, there's no sense in even trying to respond.

My concern it that if one is in another part of the house and the fall button accidentally receives what it thinks is a fall and it takes time to get to the monitor before EMT's are called. Don't know how you can get around this problem. The one time this happened to me you did call on the phone so all was well and I didn't fall. The good news is that you were quick to respond.

The service went down 2 nights ago just as I was getting ready for bed. I called customer care and I wasn't happy with the service I got. I had to unplug everything and the next morning, with customer care on the phone, it was just a matter of plugging everything back in. The chick the night before could have told me to do that and we wouldn't have been without service overnight.

Excellent helping me to pick thecorrect system that would work the best for my Mom's needs. Fairly easy to set up. Not the best instruction manuals to refer to. Instructions not complete or easy for a senior to navigate. Fall necklace very sensitive (which is better than not being sensitive enough), and we had set off several false alarms (including when my uncle took the shower/bathroom press button alarm out of the box).

Fortunately, I have not needed the assistance medically and I just purchased MH. I did need assistance from Support staff to set it up and operate it. The customer service person patiently answered my questions and when I could not work the “on” button on the Solo unit he told me a lot of people doing that and to push button in with the point of a pen. I pushed hard with a pen and that worked. But it means I will always be sure to have a pen with the unit. And I am strong, not weak or frail! But the service from the representative was patient and courteous and thank goodness he told me how to turn it on!

I initially subscribed to the fall alert pendant. I found it to be too sensitive. I could not put it on without making it send an alert. I did not like wearing it around my neck. It was bothersome. I returned the fall pendant and am using the wrist band which I find more comfortable and easier to deal with. The service has been very good. However at my home the cell signal is only one to two bars on the base so sometimes it’s difficult to hear the emergency operator.
