His name was Michael; his direct line is 1-800-311-6778. He was very professional and let me tell him what I needed. Another company I called kept on talking for 17 minutes before I could say a word-I just let them talk, but could tell they were not the company for me...in fact after I placed my order I got a return phone call from them and she said all I would have to do a the paper work and everything would be complete. Really, they were trying to sell me everything but the kitchen sink and also charged an installation fee-----we don't have the equipment and haven't tried it but i'm sure it will be fine - if I have any questions I will contact client services the number Michael gave me to call. I have fallen four times in the last year. I broke my left wrist in the last fall and am in a cast for at least 2 months. My health is very complicated since I have cerebral palsy and had heart failure which require medicine that makes me dizzy. The doctors are working with me to adjust the medicine but I still get dizzy sometimes. I searched numerous medical alert companies and found Medical Guardian to have the best equipment, most modern, best technology and one of the very few with fall alert technology. In addition, they had the best price. Since I have just purchased the system and not used it yet, I am not sure yet how efficient the system really is yet. The sales and customer service staff get an A+++ at this stage of the experience with Medical Guardian.

Jason was great. I innundated him with questions and he answered them all with expertise, patience and humor when appropriate. Unlike my first technician he did not push to close the deal (a practice that reflects poorly on the company and product. Desperation to sell is a red flag for scams- if your product is as good as it says then it should sell itself once the consumer is at the questions stage.) I usually prefer to order on line and avoid conversations with sales staff but was so impressed and confident after our conversation that I made an exception. I was also impressed when he made the offer to call him personally back with any questions and needs after the deal was made. It was not a sell and dump. We have yet to receive our unit but when we do- and if it works as expected- I will be sharing Jason's number with friends. I would give him my highest rating for great customer service. If he is a reflection of your company as a whole I have chosen very well.

I was not planning on pursuing the alert system from the U.S. side however, because of his friendly and compassionate nature I went through with the purchase with expectations that Guardian Medical Alert will offer me the emerge assistance I may need in Canada and my home in Florida. I recommend this service and with exchange rates it has a lower cost with fantastic advantages with all the medical safety we need in emergency situations. I can't say enough about how accommodating the sales men that I worked with was. Johnathan was his name. I was very nervous about getting a system like this for my ill Mother. I had been looking for the right one for months and was looking on the computer at Guardian Alert. The next day I received a call from the company to talk to me about it. Johnathan was able to answer every question I had and put me at ease on the things I was nervous about. I am very happy I made the choice to buy the Guardian Alert to help protect my Mom incase of an emergency!! Thank You Johnathan and Guaurdian Alert!!

Mom finally moved local to me into an Independent/Assisted Living community. Even though I am more at ease there are people around, both mom and I would feel better with a medical alert system. I contacted Medical Guardian via the internet late one evening. I received a phone call from Mike the following morning @ 9:00 a.m. Mike asked what our needs were, was very knowledgeable about the products, explained the process and was very caring. After consulting with mom, I finally called back to order the unit at 7:00 p.m. - - Mike was still there but just leaving. He stayed to place the order so we would get the system in time for moving day. I truly appreciated Mike and all he did!!

I researched many medical alert services and Medical Guardian best fit my mother's needs. They were extremely accommodating, the equipment was easy to use and it gave our family peace of mind that the fall indicator necklace would activate even if mom was not able to push the alert button. The unit had a much larger receiving area than most others on the market. I also was impressed with the level of training of the response team members. As it turned out mom was only able to stay in her home about two months after beginning use of the monitor. There was no trouble with returning the equipment, no contract fee and I quickly received a refund of the prorated unused time since I had paid for a year in advance. This company was extremely professional. One note, be sure to keep all of the packing material when the equipment is received so it is easy to return the equipment when the time comes.

I have yet to experience the use of the service and quite frankly, hope we don't have to. So, in all fairness, the only review I can give would be related to the sales call I received shortly after I inquired. The gentleman I spoke to who wound up selling the service was very easy to talk to, friendly, professional and informative. He answered all questions and filled me in on the areas I didn't see when I visited your website. I had already done side by side comparisons and knew what I was looking for so it didn't take much, as I was informed. There was no pressure from him and that was a blessing because I will generally not buy from pressure. I look forward to having peace of mind while I am at work or out and about, knowing that my Mom now has another option in an emergency situation, and a simple one at that, one she can handle and understand. Thank you for being an option for those of us who have our elderly, disabled Mom's living with us but don't have the luxury of being at home 24/7, thanks to our J O B's :) Sincerely, Russ Langfett

Outstanding service from the first inquiry to set up. Chris DiLullo was very curteous, prompt and professional. He was able not only to answer my questions, but explained where I could understand your services. I received my system very quickly with the instructions being very clear and easy to follow. I made two calls to your technical assistance and they had me squared away within minutes. From the time I opened the box to having the system set up, tested with the pendant around my neck was approximately 30 minutes. My family now has peace of mind. Great experience and would recommend to others.

The lanyard kept breaking or falling apart. I had to recharge every three days at least. The charging unit cord is too short. I learned that I did not have fall alert until I fell, but was able to get up on my own. I'm looking for another company.

Never had to use it, but I had tested it. Like for the battery to last longer. It seems like it's just 3 to 4 days, and then I have to take it off. And of course, I'm not able to use it when I take it off to get it charged.

Very upset, money was taken out of my account when system was not in use. Spoke with Lexis, after speaking to Kimberly. Lexis was so rude to me. I tried to explain about the money and she said, “This is not how this conversation is going to go”. I told her I was the customer and she had to listen to me. I asked for a manager and she said it could take up to 48 hours to get a call. What kind of business does business like this. This rude person needs training in communication skills or fired. One hour later I’m still shaking with upset. I have a bad heart and just had to back surgeries, plus three months in rehabilitation after back surgery. I’m moving and want my money back now! I’m calling my bank in morning and asking if this is fraud, due to you system not in use and your company stealing my money!

Thank God, I've never had to use it, and no one ever told me that I needed to test it. I have just been very curious as to why this mechanism goes off without provocation. I just don't understand why that happens. Which leaves me a little concerned because if it's not working and I fall, it's gonna think I'm okay and I'm not gonna get any help.

My husband fell down the stairs and the alert never sounded and he had it on. And then he fell again in the kitchen and it never sounded. And again, I think, upstairs, and it never alerted again. Somebody answered the phone when I called, but I really got no satisfaction when I made the complaint about the device. I'm disappointed. I'm looking into another technology that might be more efficient for him.

The only thing is I don't wear the necklace because I'm afraid of losing it. But with the watch, even though it has the two little things and where you lock it, the rubber bracelet of the watch comes loose and comes off my arm. I'm not crazy about the rubber band part of it. I've had it come off a couple of times.

I like everything about the device itself. I haven't had to use it, so I guess that's a good thing. But I get calls from Medical Guardian wanting me to go over stuff and it's like, leave me alone. And then my experience with the guy that I called when I actually was buying it, I did not like him at all. So in terms of their customer service, I think you could use some work.

As soon as you press the button, they're right there and are usually pretty helpful. But I was surprised by two things. One is that the unit has a red flashing light all the time and it seems to work, but I don't think it should be flashing red. So we need to call customer service and talk about that. And then I also was disappointed to suddenly find that we were paying I think $61.00 or something for the kind of insurance on the unit when I don't think that figure was ever mentioned in the the sales part.

It does give me some security that I know that it's there. I can always push the button if I have an emergency. When I first started wearing the bracelet, I kept accidentally hitting the button but I have an ICD pacemaker defibrillator implanted and I'm kind of afraid to wear that. I don't know if there would be a problem, but I can't take that chance. So I keep the bracelet by my bed and I keep the other thing in the kitchen so it is available for my use if I have an emergency.

Paid for the whole year 453$ , the necklace wasn’t working when I tested it Another time when I pushed the button no one answered on the base & I hit the button for half an hour. Another time my Mom hit the button & Medical Guardian didn’t have the code for lockbox to tell EMS. Thank goodness neighbors had key. Today I pushed the button on the wristlet & no one answered the base. I was on the phone with service over 1/2 hr & still not working. She was trying to sell me another system. Never will I recommend Medical Guardian, you took the money & it doesn’t work, all a scam…

To long to call one he has fell down. It was 1 hour b4 I hit the call on Sunday! Never have I received a texted message, which I paid for! When I receive the call from you it comes in as a telemarketer, goes to voicemail. Then you call my son, who is last on the list. I’m first! I will be changing companies & soon as I get my dad over this fall! Not pleased at all with this service! Not what I was told it would be!

I'm pleased to have a backup, if it were not for Medical Guardian, I do not know what would serve this purpose. It's the only thing I know of that gives me that security.

I like that I can push the button and get help but I hate this dang blinking blue light that is constant! It is so annoying! At night I put it under a towel so I don’t see it but it still comes through! What good is something that is supposed to help you but you don’t want to wear because it is so annoying?

I tested it and had an immediate response from a young man who asked me immediately what the situation was and I told him I was testing it at this time and wanted to be sure that I understood how it worked. He spent a second or two with me and explained everything and I was very pleased with that. However, I don't like the flashing blue light.

I did test it when I was at a friend's house in a different city and that worked out very well. They were able to tell me where I was, so the GPS feature did work, but I did fall once and it didn't detect it.
