I have had LifeStation for just a couple months, and have never had an emergency where I needed it. A few times there has been a problem in which the battery did not stay charged for a full day, although they claim battery life “up to” five days. The problem is they use AT&T cell service, and that coverage is rather poor where I am located, so that puts abnormal strain on the battery. I looked at alternatives, hoping to find something with better battery life, and tried MobileHelp, with a 30 day trial period, which I have now returned. MobileHelp was a much more complicated system, and in a side-by-side comparison, the MobileHelp battery life was actually shorter. I had a few conversations with Customer Service for both of these systems, and Life Station was much more satisfactory. I think almost all systems use AT&T, so if that is the case, in my limited experience I think LifeStation is excellent, and I will look no further. It is simple and easy to understand, and Customer Service is accessible and helpful.

You are correct in that almost all medical alert systems use the At&T network, so generally an area that causes problems for one system will most likely cause problems for the others.

As their coverage improves, so will our capabilities, but if you feel you are ever having problems with the signal in your area please give us a call and we will do what we can to solve the issue.

My mother has had the Life Station unit for several years and it has worked very well. When I called to add the “key lock” unit today, the representative automatically put me on the $3/month service charge. He didn’t mention the other option of buying the key lock unit for $40. A few weeks ago when I called in to ask about the key lock unit, the representative told me of the two options. So I felt as though the representative I talked to today who wanted to charge me the $3 monthly service fee without offering me to buy the unit for $40 was DECEPTIVE! If I hadn’t talked to another representative last week, I wouldn’t have known about both options. Honesty should always be the best policy!

Selling the lock box was a policy that we has discontinued several years ago, so it seems that the agent who told of the second option was confused and had forgotten the change in policy. Currently the lock box is only available at the current cost of $3 per month.

Have had no emergencies but the button is easy to use and test and response is immediate when testing. Set-up was simple. I hang it off a grab bar at the far end of the shower and moisture has not been a problem. I keep it on the seat of my walker at night, next to the bed, and turn the button to the bottom so the flashing in the dark is not disruptive. So far, so good.

I am a new client and so pleased with the pendant and charging station. Had another service for several years but they never updated and became quite expensive. I have had a couple of accidental alerts and people were so very kind about it. I have shortened the cord on the pendant so it does not hang low enough to be activated by the edge of my desk! God quick responses to alerts.

LifeStation is a Great product! We got our Mom, who is 92 and still living alone a LifeStation alert 9 months ago. She has not had to use it for an emergency yet, but has set it off by accident once. The dispatcher was very nice and understanding, and all of us got the alert text. They were right on the situation 👍🏻 We as her children are very glad she is using LifrStation!

When I fell and pressed my LifeStation necklace button, I was immediately spoken to through the LifeStation speaker system that is plugged into an outlet in my apartment. I recently upgraded, for fewer dollars, to a GPS LifeStation necklace. This is what I recommend for those who drive and move around outside their home. It's a little more bulky, however I feel so safe now with LifeStation. Very affordable.

Received it yesterday, and after calling customer service today, they answered all my questions, and gave me more peace of mind, that, no matter what "someone" is always there when you need them too be. My family is my 1st sense of security, but, in this world today, when all are busy, or unavailable, I have my second sense of security, and that is...LifeStation. Have had the systems for 5 years. Cannot say enough good things about this company. The main feature is they have their own call center. If you've ever used a company that outsources, you'll see the difference when the phone rings for 2 full minutes before they answer. Those 2 min. are the difference between life and death. My mother has had to use it 4 times and it has saved her all 4 of those times. Worth every penny.

Constant issues. It takes far too long for an operator to respond to a button activation, and sometimes there is no response at all. Power outages cause large problems with the base. Customer service is lacking. I will soon be cancelling my subscription and using a competitor's product.
