Overall, it is excellent. The distance from the base being one hundred yards is excellent but the bad thing is bringing the base with you when you leave the house. The people are courteous and it works very well.

I like that the button is around my neck. I actually had to use the device when I got stuck on the ground and I couldn’t get my neighbors or friends on the phone so I had the paramedics come get me.

Medical guardian is a little more expensive than others but it works well and they respond really fast. When I talk to somebody, they work with me. It is heavy around my neck and I have to charge it often.

The process for set up and response is not adequate. Had trouble contacting the call center to get information and clarify their response procedure. Sales is not very supportive after the sale and you can't reach tech support from a phone if you have issues after normal business hours which is not acceptable for a 24/7 emergency response unit.

The monitor doesn’t keep a charge very long, that’s the only thing I don’t like. One time I called customer service, the gentleman walked me through it. He seemed very knowledgeable.

So far I am happy with Medical Guardian. It’s worked fine. Their responses have been immediate. We had to drill holes in the plastic so that the wristband fits because my wrist is 5 inches around.

Customers reviews online. At&T is not strong in my area. Called to return the device and was told they also use Verizon. Waited for new device,it downloaded right away with Verizon. I rated a 4 star because the rep should have told us about both options

One of the main reasons we got Medical Guardian is that it has fall detection. I like that there is no additional equipment, it’s all contained in one unit. I would prefer to have a watch band instead of hanging pendant and I think it could be a bit louder and customer support needs so work and could be more responsive but I do feel like the people genuinely care about their customer they just need to follow up.

When it first came, one of the devices, the neck pendant, was not working properly but when I called and explained this, they sent me a new one right away. Customer service was helpful and cooperative. I tested it and they called me back shortly and checked to make sure I was alright.

They let you know when she needs help. We like that we are alerted when my mother falls. I don't like the fact that if she's in the bathroom she can't hear the speaker when she hits the button and they say "Can I help you?" We've used it twice. Once to call the paramedics and one called the daughter.

I've only had the device since April but sometimes the charge only lasts for two+days, always preceded with an event that the unit gets extremely warm to the touch when worn under a blouse. I wear it that way to keep from having the unit swing into furniture every time I bend over for something.r

When I ordered it, it's supposed to come with a carrying case so I could wear it on my hips. It didn't have that carrying case but I talked with the customer service rep who first got the thing set up and he said he would mail me one right away. It's been over a month and nothing's happened and I don't think anything's going to happen. One of the things I dislike is the limited range of the device you wear around your neck.
