I picked it because of the feature that allows me to take it with me wherever I go. I've never had to use it but I wear the necklace all the time. I take my little GPS device sort of thing with me when I go anywhere. I have called them a couple of times to check the device and make sure that the machine is functioning properly and everything is working well. I swear I heard a weird noise that seemed to come out of the machine, but they assured me it wasn't. I'm perfectly satisfied with it even though it is expensive.

I didn't really use it myself while going around the house. I just kind of left it sitting by the bed. It's pretty convenient though. It doesn't weight much and it's easy to wear around your neck. As I said though, I wasn't using it much so I decided to cancel and save the money.

I picked them for my mom because of their advertising and pricing. She is 96 years old and wears the wrist thing primarily. It has helped her a number of times after she fell. They've done a good job responding whenever she needs them. Thing is, their bookkeeping and billing isn't the best.

At the time I started I was a very active person, I didn't really need all the things that a lot of services offered. Medical Guardian was the only company that didn't try to push all their stuff on me, they just gave me what I asked them for. I haven't had to use it but it has gone off a couple of times because I bumped it against a counter or something. They answered quickly though and resolved things quickly. The price is mostly good. There is one thing I haven't been happy with. When I first started I got the service put on my credit card. I guess I didn't read the fine print or something because I didn't know they would automatically charge me every year to renew the service without notifying me. It has been a constant problem. I mean, for a company that deals with senior citizens they should let them know about these kinds of things right away instead of putting it in fine print. They told me they would notify me, but they never did. I asked them to at least send me a bill whenever they need to charge me again but they never did. If they had told me initially that they would do that I would've been able to just tell them not to. I've been really unhappy about that; it has been a real pain in the neck. It's really aggravating, it feels like they take advantage of us for being old and just take our money automatically.

I had Medical Alert and I wasn't satisfied with them that's why I decided to change to Medical Guardian. I haven't had to use it yet but I firmly think that Medical Guardian is a very good company. So far, they had been excellent towards me, I'm happy with them and my devices.

We just had a phone call from someone offering us Medical Guardian, I only had to use it once back in November my husband fell and was unconscious, I was able to use Medical Guardian to contact emergency care and they were here very quickly. We've been lucky we haven't used it since then, I just press the button once in a while for make sure that is still working. I would just say that sometimes when I contacted them they took a little time to answer me back but they're always right there ready for help us if we need it. I'm really glad that we chose this service.

I fell down once and I had a stroke too, both times after I pressed the button they called my son immediately and they send the ambulance with everything that I needed in that moments. it's been there for me since I've had it. My daughter bought it for me. I have never had to use it but I wear it all the time 24/7. I have interaction with customer service every month because I keep doing my monthly test and they're incredible with me. I just have to replace all the necklace because the original ban is black and I don't like it. I'm happy with it.

My son bought it for me. I'm coming up on 83 but in all honesty I just keep it in my kitchen. I don't carry it around and when I go out to walk my dog I don't have it on me all the time. I just don't feel like I walk far enough for me to need it. The park is right next to my home. I used it once when I fell down the stairs a couple of years ago but frankly I can't recall what the response was.

I didn't truly decide to get it myself, it was my daughter and son in law who decided that I needed it. I'm fine with it though. They live 3000 km away from me and feel better with me having it. My partner is diabetic and has seizures sometimes. I have had occasions where I have fallen and had to crawl out to get help. Because of that I thought it would be a good idea for us to get it. Every time I've called them with a problem or something they answer the phone and talk to me. I prefer the necklace over the wristband. The only problem I have with it is that the string on the necklace piece is not great. The plastic case that holds the button also scratches my body and it's very uncomfortable. It's not really usable as far as I'm concerned and I'd like them to change that.

They're always there for you. Two times in the last year I accidentally pressed the button on the necklace and I was immediately contacted by Medical Guardian to ask me if I needed help. I ALWAYS wear the necklace. You cannot have more protection than having MEDICAL GUARDIAN.

I really haven't had to use it for an emergency, but I do my checks with the support team periodically to be sure that the device is working properly and they have always answered very quickly.
