I never had to use it. I keep checking to be sure it's running all right, and it's always good. I haven't had any problems. I have a bracelet that I wear at night, and I feel very safe knowing that I can call anytime that I need help. I know I can depend on them. I push the button to have it checked, and they're always right there. I know if I needed anything, they would be helping me.

It gave me the best advantages. I do need to test a little more often that I have been, but its a wonderful thing to have, and I like to let everybody know that I'm very satisfied with their service. I wear it 24 hours a day, always carry my little transmitter receiver on my belt when I'm leaving the house, and sometimes when I'm in the house, but I'm always comfortable feeling that if I push that button, they'll be talking to me on my receiver. It's just a little thing to have, but it gives me security. I live by myself and it's the one thing that I could count on; pushing that button and getting somebody's attention to do what I need to have done. It's on 24 hours a day, and that's wonderful for anybody living by themselves. It's a little bit expensive, but I found that the more expensive, the better it is, and this is one of those cases.

I looked at several different companies, and it seemed to offer the combination of relatively low price with the service I needed. It was a genuinely good experience, there was just one technical issue'it was a little bit difficult to plug in to the telephone jack. We needed to get a signal splitter in order to do it, that was the only down side that was out there. My mother wears it, she's in a two bedroom apartment a few blocks from us. The device works within the range of the monitor in the apartment. It's not a GPS type of device, so when she's at home, and if there's a problem, she's able to signal me and send an email to my self, my wife, and to a babysitter we have.

When I talked to them it all seemed like a good deal, so I signed up. The button is a little big, but that's fine. Most of the time I'm around the house, so it doesn't interfere with anything I do. I had to use it recently. I fell when I was coming up the back steps and landed on my head. I immediately called them and they came and took me to the hospital to get checked out.

Other people who had the company recommended it to my daughter, and she recommended it to me. I do feel safe and secure with it and so do my children. It's easy to use and wear around my neck. I usually use it when I am going up and down stairs to do the laundry, and I leave it on when I'm going to be going up and down a lot. If I needed it, I feel comfortable that they would be there.

I had investigated several, and this seemed to be the best choice for me. I take it with me when I go on long walks. I had the experience once of falling, and luckily I was in a place where there were people who saw me, but when you walk on country roads, you may lay there for a long time without being seen. This gives me the confidence that there will be help if I need it. I think that they're trustworthy, and that the device is convenient. The one thing that I wish were different would be if I could wear the wrist device separately and not have to carry around the main device, because it's a little bit heavy.

I feel very comfortable having it and making my life a little less traumatic in case I do need help, since I'm 80 years old. I went online and looked it up once, called and talked to people, and decided that it was the one that would be good for us. I have recommended it, and I've had good service from them. I've never had to use it for emergency, but every two or three weeks, I call to make sure that my system is working properly. I've always gotten a fast response, and everything has gone fine.

It does exactly what they advertisement said it does. It's handy to keep around. I keep it on the cradle to charge it all the time until I get a reason to leave the house. Then I put the thing in its little pocket and just carry it with me so if I fall or anything happens to me, my daughter or the authorities can locate me right away. When I go back home, I just put it back in the cradle again. I've had no problems with anything, they can locate me and everything. I feel safer having it.

The device is really good, but it's a little bit expensive; you can buy a Jitterbug phone that does the same thing, with a call button that you can hit and someone answers it. It's probably about half the price, and of course you can use the phone for something else. With my device, all I do is call and verify once a month to check it. When I called to check, and asked if they could tell me where I was at there was one agent who refused, and said she couldn't tell me where I was at unless it was an emergency, but the others had been good when I called in and asked them to verify my location. One time I thought something was wrong with my device. The person that was answering couldn't help me with it. It was on a Saturday, and Monday was a holiday, so they said I'd have to wait and call back when their office was open, and that would be on Tuesday. It kind of had me worried; what if it was something really important? I just wanted to ask about why it was not charging right, because they sent a message to some of my folks about that. I don't know if it was not seated right but I just needed some help with it, and they told me to I have to wait and callback on Tuesday. I thought, gosh, what if it runs out of battery power and I needed it before Tuesday? Somebody needs to be on call on the holidays and weekends in case you have trouble with your device. Those were the only negative things. I originally decided to get it because I could use it anywhere.

I talked to a representative when I was considering it. They answered my questions, and what they told me was the truth. The setup was very easy for me to do. The company was very cooperative with me in getting it set up, and have been very nice to me when I have called and asked questions. As far as I know, it works well. I'm happy with it and it's easy for me. I've never had to use it yet, but I do test it and it works fine.

I thought it was very simple and it was just what my Mom needed. Everything has been very good. When she tries to call, they're patient and they get the message across to her. They called me once when she had tripped the alarm, which was great. I was on the way down there, but the GPS in it said she was still on the move, so it was actually a false alarm. It was still a very reassuring thing to know that it worked.

I decided to get it in conjunction with a group of people who all have Medical Guardian. I think what I like about it is that it has a GPS. I wear the pendant everyday, and bring it with me wherever I go. I've not had to call customer support, but I find that they do call to check the device, and that's very good. I liked the people when I talked to them.

I had looked it up and Medical Guardian seemed to be the best one for me. I bought it because I had fallen like four times, but so far I have not had to use it. When I first received it, I called and went through the process of learning how to use it, so they were very helpful, but I'm still not sure whether I have to have the main device with me at all times, or if I'm going to be able to call if I just have the necklace around my neck.

I went on the internet and searched for Medical alert systems in some publications and ratings sites. I ended up with Medical Guardian and one other that were best, and three others that were not too bad. I don't know what others charge for the service. I know this would be on the high end; it seems like the range is about thirty to fifty dollars. Anything less than that is probably not very good. With Medical Guardian, I have no problem at all, overall. I haven't used it yet really; I only did a couple of checks. From the little contact I've had, they're good. At least they speak English.

They were reasonable in their price, and offered good quality in the program. It's easy to use and the response is just very quick. There was one event when my wife needed emergency care and I used it, and it was very satisfactory. They're very quick in response and they're available if you seek to communicate with them. They respond immediately, and I think it's a good program.

I think I saw it in a magazine. I didn't compare anything, I just thought that it would be okay. My sister has one, and I think she uses it at least once a month when getting on and off the bus. I believe that it is a great device. I like it and I think it's a great way to protect yourself. It seems to be no strings attached, and customer support is right to the point. I have tested it to make sure it was working and everything, but I haven't actually called for help yet. When I push that button to see if it's working, someone is on within two minutes.

My daughters purchased it for me. That's how I ended up with it, and it worked out well. The quality is fine, and I have no complaints. They have done everything I needed with them, and I've not had any issues with their service, that's for sure. About 2 weeks ago I had the flu and I was very weak. I was not able to get up out of my chair, so I eventually fell out of it. I had to use it 3 times that week. The response was very good, both from Medical Guardian and from the people who responded to my problem.

It came from my grand daughter and my son. I just use it when I'm in the house or out in the yard. It's easy, i just wear it around my neck, like a necklace, and all I have to do is hit a button. City light came out one time and turned all the power off in the neighborhoods and did some work on it, and all I did was call customer service back, and they had me hooked up again, so I was fine.

We got it based on features, reviews and cost. We've been fortunate, and haven't had to use it for an emergency; only to check to see that it was working properly. They are responsive and answer questions thoroughly. They get back to you quickly; my things were taken care of, so that's good! It seems to be cheaply made, but it's very simple. My husband who is disabled understands how to use it.

I had looked around, and that seemed to be the best choice at that point. They have a few different options; they have a pendant and the other wristwatch-type device, and then they have the base unit. We had an occurrance where we needed to call the ambulance, and we were able to do that through the device. They were there when we needed them, and we were able to get the service that we were supposed to.

The ratings on the internet convinced me on it. About four days after I signed up for it, I tipped over in a chair backwards, and I got myself pinned such that I couldn't reach the phone or anything, and it was in the middle of the afternoon. So there I lay! I'm in an independent living retirement community, and if I could have gotten the phone that would've fixed the problem, but I couldn't, so I hit the button. The ambulance was here about ten or fifteen minutes later, it got me up, end of story. It worked!

Basically, the cost and the service provided were very reasonable. I know there are better units out there, but it served a purpose. It was ordered for my mother because she lives alone. I would recommend it for other seniors living alone. They responded right away when we tested it, and the customer service people were fantastic and addressed any concerns I had. I did have an issue when I first got it, because I'd ordered a lock box, and they put the wrong code on the box that we had requested. It was one digit off, so it wasn't double checked when they sent it out, but that was resolved.

I picked them because I could get a very limited area covered. My philosophy is that since the only place that they couldn't see me are in my house and in my yard, I don't need anything out and about where people are hanging out all the time, I just needed something to cover me here. I got the medallion that I can wear when I'm showering so I have that option. I've had a couple of false calls because the cat broke the thing off one day and the next thing I knew there were EMT's at the door, so it works very well, but they were not happy about the fact that it was a false alarm. I haven't had to use the customer support, but it must be good, since the paramedic showed up!

I saw the commercials on TV, and then when I talked to a customer service representative, I made up my mind to go with them. So far they've been a very good company to deal with, and I've already recommended them to friends. They're just very helpful and and take their time to answer questions. They don't rush you off the phone. So far, knock on wood, we haven't used it for an emergency; we've just done some testing on it. I really like the idea that if she even falls, then it sets off an alarm.

I compared all the ones that were out there. This one seemed to have better ratings, the price was decent, and it provided what I needed. It was very easy to set up. They walked me through everything. When I moved, and I had to take it with me, again it was very easy to walk through and re-set it up. It makes me feel more comfortable knowing I have it. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to wearing it around my neck. I should get better at carrying the mobile device with me, which I don't do as often as I should, but it's a comfort knowing you have it there when you need it.

My son looked them up on the internet and thought this was the best, so he paid for a whole year for me. I've never had to use it but I've tested it to make sure it works about once a month and they're always very helpful. We've also had accidental button presses. On a Saturday the thing that I keep on the bathroom wall fell. When my son tried to put it back up, he hit the button and they came on right away. They were very nice about the situation.

My children did some investigating and got it for me because they thought it was the best one. At first it was hard for me to get used to wearing the wrist one, but now I'm alright with it. The little strap that holds the it together slides back and forth a lot and it even falls apart sometimes. Because of that I have it tied down with a rubber band so that it stays put. I have it on most of the day. The only thing is that it doesn't really work if I'm too far out of the house, like when I walk to the mailbox. When I test it it takes a long time for the thing to connect and get someone on the line. It probably takes 2 or 3 minutes for them to talk to me. Because of that I was thinking that if anything happened and I laid on the floor bleeding or something, that 2 or 3 minute wait wouldn't be good at all.

Nancy, thanks for the review. Regarding your wristband, feel free to customize it howsoever you choose. Some customers change out the bands completely. A watch repair shop may be able to help you with this. Regarding response time, button presses should go through in under 60 seconds in typical conditions. Since this is not the case, we will have a member of our Customer Care team reach out to troubleshoot your Home Guardian. Thanks again for the feedback!

I just researched it and compared to other brands. I don't remember the details anymore, but it just seemed like the best one for me. One thing is that it allows me to go for a walk and carry the unit with me, so I can use it along the way. I haven't had to, but it does allow that. I have no negative experience, no complaints. It's all insurance policy: you hope you never need it, but you're willing to pay for it in case you do. So, even though it is rather expensive, it's something that I think I'm willing to pay for.

My husband had seen it somewhere in advertising. Sometimes it takes a little while to get through to them when I try to do tests or something like that. I've only used it one time where where it was an emergency, but I have tried to do tests and sometimes it takes a while to answer. I had to use it about a month and a half ago. My husband was unconscious, and they had to take him to the hospital. It was a good experience with them; they stayed on the line with me and helped me do compressions and and try to get him to breathe.

This one is still pretty new to us, but we've been getting excellent customer service. We haven't had any problems with it. My husband has the device and he likes it. He takes it off when he goes to take a shower. I know it's supposed to work even there but I don't know why it just didn't seem to work there. Maybe it needed to be powered up or it got too wet or something. It is kind of expensive for us though.

I think I talked with two or three representatives from other companies at the time. I was looking for an inexpensive solution but they were all about the same price, so I ended up going with Medical Guardian. The button is not necessarily comfortable to use, it just hangs around your neck all the time. I'm not really used to it. It's convenient and easy to use though. I was surprised when the battery on the thing went dead. They contacted everyone on my emergency list and let me know I needed to go and charge it. At first I thought that was humorous but then I just realized I had to charge it every night or they would contact the five people on the list every time. That was embarrassing.

My daughter decided to get this for me. On a typical day I put it on when I get up in the morning and wear it all day long. Whether I go out or not, it's with me. I'd like it better if it wasn't quite as big as it is and if I could have a watch or something else. It's quite ugly actually. It makes me feel like my neck is bending over. Besides, if I lean against something the button gets triggered very easily. That has happened a couple of times already. One time it happened while I was putting clothes in the washing machine and it took a good 4 minutes before anybody got back to me on that occasion.

The salesman that I talked to was very upfront. He gave me all the information that I needed and was very helpful, so I signed up and got it for my mom. Thank god we never had to use it, but I have no complaints about them. They're a good company and their product is good quality. Though we had to stop using the service since my mom moved in with me.

I researched on the internet before getting it. The button is compact, I can wear it on my belt and I don't even know that it's there. I wear it every day but I have been lucky in that I have not fallen. I've tested it though and it's very effective. It's a comfort to know that it's there. I've had very little contact with customer support. I had to call them early on to know how the button was doing but that was the only contact I've had with them.

My daughter bought it as a gift for me since she lives in Texas. I do yoga classes every day, go to meetings, and do things like that, so I take the little device with me everywhere I go. I just feel more secure having it with me. If anything happens, I know that I will be protected. I've talked to them a couple of times to test the button and such and it works ok. I'm happy and thankful to have it, it's a wonderful technology that can help a lot of people like me.

It's all really handy. You have the necklace, the bracelet, and the base itself. We haven't had to use it yet but we've tested it all around the house. It works great and we know we have some security in case we need it. They also call us all the time to check in with us. There's really no big commitment with them or tricks to make you stay and the price for the device is fair. It was 4 times cheaper than the others we looked at.
