Pros: The system eventually works and it's the only aligner I could find that you wear at night. Wearing at night versus the day is amazing. Cons: 1. I'm almost 9 months in and my teeth are finally able to fit in my retainers. Maybe it's my teeth, but the plan is made to switch out aligners once a week. It took me an average of 4-6 weeks per aligner before my teeth could fit in the next one. 2. The sales process could have been better. Their phone number on their website was out of service, so email was the only option. My sales rep kept forgetting who I was and I got sent someone else's alignment plan. 3. My home page says I MUST buy a new retainer by a date 6 months from when I ordered my retainers, or I lose my Byte for Life guarantee. Just know that is not true. You just have to order new retainers once a year, and you don't even have to order them from Byte. Just prove to Byte you ordered retainers from someone once a year and you'll keep the guarantee. (Straight from Byte customer service). So I'm just not a fan of the misleading statement.

I chose Byte because it was affordable and seemed to be a quick fix to straightening my teeth. My initial 10 week program is taking way longer and I have followed all instructions. I’m currently 20 weeks in and have not finished my aligned program yet but have just been advised from byte some people’s teeth take longer to move. I have seen some progress but not as much as advertised.

The aligners themselves (on week 4) seem to be doing the trick. However, the customer service, afterwards, needs improvement. It would be nice to have one contact (to text) throughout the journey. 1st of all, the ph number... Wow. 45 - 90 wait time. I had a few simple questions. Each time.. The "so called chat", isn't a chat at all, it's an automated redirect to fill out a support form, which you will Wait 3-5 days for an email response. You cannot respond to the email for additional questions with the same issue. You need to redo another support form. If you can.. No one responded back that way. Each time, I do the support form, I am required to send a picture in. I had simple questions unrealated to the pictures. I was told after receiving my aligners, that I would have an advisor assigned to me, never did get one. I had like 3 numbers texting me before getting them, I thought the support would be great.. Now 5hat I have them, it's like crickets out there

My experience with them was positive but I was not interested in their product as I am not someone who can wear aligners to bed at night.

I used Byte aligners for about 9 months. They were easy to use and had little problem. However the customer service not great . Emails not answered timely and long waits on the phone . In addition I was not sure about the actual amount of dental oversight available. Consults available but only with ancillary staff . I also feel once the payment is made the customer service seems less available. In addition I waited an extra 5 weeks for my continuation set making my treatment time that much longer . My regular dentist is also concerned about bone loss he attributes to the aligners. Honestly if regular Aligners are in your budget it is probably the better way to go

My initial experience with byte was amazing, the customer service is exceptional when they reply which can at times take days but they do admit that right on their site. My biggest gripe with them is once something goes wrong, for example, they have you check in with photos throughout the process and during my one check in, they advised I should go back a step and wear them for 2 weeks because the pair I was on weren’t sitting correctly. Ever since this has happened it’s been a nightmare to get a clear answer and heaven forbid a phone call from a live human being which prior to paying you get the impression that you’d talk to someone every once in a while. Before they had my money they called at every step of the beginning process and even assign a personal agent for you to reach out too, once they have your money, good luck because I haven’t spoken to a live person since. The actual aligners themselves are simple to maintain and the hyperbyte (mouth vibrator) is pretty neat and does make a difference especially if you experience any sensitivity during the treatment. The overall cost was reasonable especially when compared to the top competitor which was double what byte cost.

I’ve had a good experience with Byte, it works if you are committed to wearing the aligners every day/night. Customer service is usually on point, though I did have a slight issue getting started. After I sent in my molds (took me two tries to get it right), I was being contacted by two byte employees almost every day reminding me that it was time sensitive to finish setting up my account and purchase a plan, but then when I responded no one got back to me for a week. That part was frustrating but I am satisfied with the product so far (about half way through the process).

Sign up and text/call/email communication at start was fantastic/swift. Issues arose with aligners 16 weeks +. They did not fit and quality was cheaper. Each time I tried to contact a rep it took 5 days to receive a reply. This eventually led to a new impressions kit, not to mention an almost 6 week delay in treatment before my corrected aligners arrived. To my surprise, I also received additional week aligners without notice that my treatment plan was not progressing on track (I'm assuming?). Had I been done by week 15 I would be leaving a glowing 5 star review, but because of the later communication delays, lack of honesty on treatment timeline (realistically about 9 months, not 3 months), lower second-set quality and non-fitting weeks 16+ aligners, my rating significantly drops. But because the price is so much lower than Invisalign and they are slowly straightening my teeth, 3 stars it is.

Initially I was excited about Byte. Beautiful packaging, aesthetics, customer service was good. Once I received my aligners, no one called to follow up. Only sent emails even after I reached out with concerns (that I still have) which I can’t always read. Initially, I chose Byte because of those first experiences with product and customer service. Now? I don’t even know what next steps are before retainers even after reaching out several times. I have a tooth that is still out of place. All in all, Byte has nice presentation and is attentive up until the transactional part of the experience is over. I wish they had called to address my concerns. It’s kind of discriminatory to assume everyone can read and reply to incoming emails. Discriminatory because the reason I cannot is because I’m disabled and chronically ill. They never bothered to check in after I emailed concerns and they didn’t hear from me. Disappointing. Had I known customer care was so minimal, leaving me in the dark STILL, I would definitely not recommend Byte and I wish I would’ve gone with smiledirectclub’s more reasonable pricing

I have started my byte treatment to bridge the gap between my teeth with a recommended 14 week plan by Byte team. I had a very good support from the Team Byte and the manuals provided in the treatment plan were very detailed and answered my questions which led me to have a confident smile. Highly recommend it to achieve good smile in a short span.

The retainers are a little uncomfortable the first few days but quickly get better. I am about halfway through my treatment and can tell a huge difference. Definitely recommend to anyone who is wanted straighter smile for way less than braces.

After researching various invisible aligner companies, I'm glad I selected Byte. They offer night-only aligners, which I am currently using, and I'm very pleased with my progress. I'm about halfway through the program that they designed for me, and the improvement is evident not only to me but to others! And their exclusive HyperByte device not only shortens the treatment time, but it makes the aligners much more comfortable to wear.
