Terrible customer service. I have no maintenance records as I just moved in. They wanted me to send pictures of the unit after the technician had already come and sent pictures. I've been 2 weeks without heat because they were "processing my claim" only to send an email saying they need more pictures and maintenance records.

This is the worst company ever, do not waste your money. I had 2 issues and none of them were resolved by this company. I ended up paying for my air conditioner and my leaking faucet. No callback and every person they give as a tech has a cell phone and never returned one call. The reps even tried to call and no answers. Horrible service.

Everything said by the negative reviewers I agree with. We're freezing while waiting for Select to approve a heating strip on our AC/Heat. We had an appliance repaired needed a couple of days before Christmas and still haven't got it repaired despite hours on the phone with their agents.

This the worst home warranty company I’ve ever dealt with. They have the worst service technician that complete a service call and you will need to find someone to complete the job. Paying another service fee for which they do not reimburse you. Stay away from this company if wish to maintain your sanity

If I could give a rating minus 10, I would. A scam. A rip-off. If they have to go on roof, no coverage. If they have to go outside your house...no coverage. Would not cover plumbing stoppage because vent had to accessed from roof.

This company are thieves. We canceled immediately when they lied to us, and then they withheld our check for almost a month and paid us back over $100 less than we paid, even though we were not allowed to receive any services during the first month. They also delayed my cancellation request so that they could pay me back less.

I bought a policy and canceled less than 30 days and before service period begins. I didn’t receive a full refund (now I see why they are soo aggressive solicitating payment). Make sure you read negative reviews the content is true. This company operates like an off shore company frauding Americans!

They state they have right to request 3 years maintenance records knowing you are new to home and can't. Not a requirement for payment. They choose to do this to avoid paying repairs . Same with everyone. Won't pay high repair bills.

This company is horrible. they sent out an unlicensed plumber to my mother's house in January. She had to call another plumber to complete the repair and she is still waiting for Select Home Warranty to reimburse her. An email was sent several days ago to the billing department and we have not had any response from them.

My A/C went out and I contacted Select who then sent out a Technician who supplied a report of the problem. My Contact does not cover Freon leaks. The report supplied by the Technician said that he could not find any leaks, but my claim was denied because of a Freon leak. I just decided to contact a Lawyer.

Awful!!! I was ripped off. Just about every contractor they referred me to refused to work because the warranty company owed them money and refused to pay. Another contractor insisted I needed work that I didn't really need. They got me for 2-3 months of service money that they did not earn!! I was scammed!!

TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!! Ceiling fan stopped working, no service call to fix they want to give me $45 for a 52" Hunter ceiling fan and pay out of pocket to install. Called because kitchen sink drain was clogged, dispatcher said someone will be here in 24-48 hours to fix,, It's been 16 days no one has showed up... 3 call backs to them.. same story, someone will be there within 24 hours to fix.. Still a no show.... Total waste of my time and $$$$. Avoid this company!!!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!

I am a new customer. I called to register a claim for a broken washer. After 3 days, they called me back to say they couldn't find anyone to fix it, so gave me permission to find someone on my own. This way, I have to pay the repairman and wait 30 days to get my money back. I am not impressed, so far.

We got Select home warranty when we purchase our home. About a month later we had problems with our refrigerator and A/C and they said we had to wait 3 months before they can service anything which that didn't make sense if we had paid for that service as soon as we purchase the house. We ended up terminating our service with them because they were not willing to help at all. Very bad customer service and really bad communication between them.
