I rated at a very low rate because you took 1 month to approve the work on the dishwasher at 933 Sulphur Springs Lane. Then the customer service person that called me 4 business days after the approval was very rude when I was trying to explain to her that it was not Hawkeye's fault. That the part took 7 - 10 business days to arrive. The customer service rep just continued to say this should have been done I am going to call Hawkeye and have a talk with them. Also, representatives have told me 2 times that they would fix the issues with the online and the fact that 209 Lightning shows 2 times. These representatives also promised a discount on 209 Lightning and I have not received anything yet from Landmark. Landmark must not follow through on the promises that their representatives make.

Crooked contractor sent to our home- evidently these guys are responsible in some way, when they cannot fix an appliance (according to the contractor) which we found provides an incentive for these guys to lie. Nice folks when you call for phone support, but clearly not committed to solving problems for their customers. I've got an ongoing claim on our dishwasher that's been open for over a month and has required entirely too much time/effort just to defend against the crooked contractor. I've lost any patience, and at this point am committed to sharing the ridiculous experience Landmark has provided.

The issue with my AC took almost three months to resolve. While I appreciate it being replaced and glad that I have a home warranty (debated strongly not to renew) I struggled with high temperatures through the hottest part of the summer with nobody stepping in and fighting for me. I had to do that myself. I got a home warranty to relieve myself of having to deal with home problems as I am extremely busy. Instead, I had to fight constantly to get service and Landmark did not seem to work with American Appliance but left me to contact them. I do not want to be stuck in the middle which is what happened and nobody doing anything and blaming the other. The majority of the time when I call Landmark the employees are very nice. There was one gentleman who seemed to take some initiative and was great to work with. He had great service skills and it is unfortunate that I do not recall his name because I was very impressed with him. My recommendation is that if something is not repaired after the second visit then Landmark needs to step in and assess what the issue is. I never should have had four visits from repair and none fixed the solution. My electric bill was double the amount and that was fighting to keep the indoor temperature at 80 degrees. There were some nights it was 85 degrees inside. It was miserable!

Sent me a now fired contractor for an ac repair. Contractor poured freon in which immediately leaked out. Cost over $350 for this one event and now paying for it all over again with another contractor with little end in sight. Otherwise the contractors have been fine.

I just looked at the reviews, and that was one of the companies that have okay reviews, so I picked them. The first couple of times everything was okay, until actually 3 weeks go it just went downhill. I needed to use it when my AC ran out, and I called landmark, and it just seems that they just don't really care. They worked with this one contractor, and I never got a phone call, either from the contractor or the home warranty company. I had to call them myself, and it was a just a big old fiasco, so lately it hasn't been good. You call them to find out what's going on, and they promise you that they'll get back with you, or they're gonna get ahold of the contractor, which may never happen, and you end up needing to call the contractor yourself and ask what's going on.

I don't agree with their policies, so I won't be renewing because of that. Plus, I tried to use the service for a plumbing issue, and they sent a plumber from another city that did not resolve the issue. I tried to use a local plumber, and they didn't allow me to do that. Also, they wouldn't refund my service fee of $60, so I just found a plumber on my own to get the job done properly. Besides that, their customer support was fine.

Our A/C went out just recently, and they tried to repair it. What was really needed was a full replacement, and that just delayed the process.

I'm not really too thrilled about their customer support. Sometimes I get somebody that's good, and sometimes I don't. The very first time we had to call was because a pipe had a leakage. The first person said it was covered, but they couldn't send somebody out. I called again, and the second person said it wasn't covered. Finally, the third person said it was indeed covered, so it was finally done, but I was told that I had to pay for the prep costs. That was really aggravating, plus, we had to live without water for 4 days.

We got the warranty when we first bought our house, and we just continued with it. Right now we're trying to use it. Our air-conditioner isn't working and we're having problems getting them to resolve it and get the problem taken care of. We're actually a little frustrated with the customer service. We've had people here like 5 times, and we're still having problems. It's just been one thing after another and they just need to replace it, but they just keep sending and more and more people out to try something out, and it doesn't work, and we're a little frustrated.

Just recently, our air conditioner wasn't working, and we had to pay $60 for them to come out. That was okay, but it turned out that they didn't have any Freon with them, and they don't for a recharge. So, the service is pretty much useless, unless something completely fails. Besides that, their customer service is great! I'm just not very pleased with what they cover.

This is our tenth year as a Landmark customer and we have used the competition in the past. Landmark does a very good job with customer service and has improved over the years. They are quite honest and try to stand by the customer, but obviously have limits as they need to make a reasonable profit. Overall, they do a very good job and I definitely recommend this company although there will likely be disappointing situations as this business space is difficult (dealing with real-time, impactful problems within a personal residence).

Well, it all depends on the contractor they use. 3 out of 4 are pretty good. Once did I need to have a furnace replaced by an out-of-market contractor and was quite satisfied with the Landmark approach. Most people get these as a throw-in when they buy a house (like us) and I don't think most homebuyers use them if needed. However, I'd recommend calling them since the past two years, their online/phone support is a lot better.

They have always been responsive and agreeable in their service to us. We have used their services several times and have not been disappointed. The only short coming we have ever encountered is this year when they apparently had an accounting difficulty and we were not credited with our annual premium payment, which we had made about a month before it was due. We did not realize this until we got an E-Mail dun notice about 24 hours before we were to default. I called the next day and talked to a lady named Cynthia F. Cynthia answered the telephone promptly, was able to look up the account and verify the validity of our account. She sent me a link to the correct endorsement immediately. She was polite, cheerful and accurate and it was a delight doing business with her. I was a little worried about our account and she set me at ease very professionally. Thank you, Cynthia.

This positive Review is primarily due to Scott P repeatedly trying to help me over several calls and days. I give HIM 5 Stars. I would have given 1 Star to Landmark honestly because other than Scott P, I was not receiving any help to fix an exhaust fan and a light switch/fixture issue. He time I'd be sent to the operators who set up the ticket to send out help, I'd get the Philippines and although they were nice, no one was ever sent out. So, I was in this loop where Scott P would transfer me to them, then they'd say they don't cover this two issues (exhaust fan and light switch). This ping pong match has lasted over two years since both the fan and light issue first went bad. I kept renewing my warranty (this is my 3rd renewal) thinking/hoping this time it would get fixed, but the same crap happened. So, I called Scott P and said, this is my last rodeo. I've spent a lot of money on a warranty that won't even send somebody out to ascertain if the issue is covered by the warranty or not. The Philippines can't expect me, a non-electrician to know what is wrong. That's why I wanted someone to come out in the first place and diagnose the issue, regardless if it was covered or not. I just wanted this fixed even if I had to pay out of pocket, but no election was sent previously. So, to Close this Long Review, another call to Scott P on Saturday ended up sending me to a woman in Phoenix, not the Philippines, and she put in the work order, the Electrician called me Monday, said would be at my house Tuesday after 10 am, and he was right on time. He found a defective exhaust motor, replaced it, and tightened something up with the light fixture (no parts needed), now I have a working light after 2 years of darkness. So, for the moment, I'll now give Landmark 4 of 5 stars but it's probationary. If I have this much problem in the future getting someone to come out, then I will not renew with them. But, for now, I plan to renew, if the service continues better than it's been. Landmark Home Warranty is a great program. In my first year of home ownership, they've taken care of a broken shower mechanism and an electrical problem. Both would have been well into three figures to fix absent the warranty. It is very comforting to know serious issues with my home are only a $60 service call away to fix. I would like to commend especially the customer rep Evonny R. She is very friendly, professional and efficient over the phone.

I'm very new to landmark Home warranty otherwise I would have rated it five stars. When I started the search a couple of months ago for a New Home warranty company I realized I was too early with my search, however, Keanna C responded right away and suggested that I email when it was time for me to renew or get a new contract. I reached out to her today and the customer service was nothing short of outstanding! She even went as far as giving me a quote for my parents home which is 2 hours away from me. If today's service is any indication of what I can expect, then I know that I have found the right company for me !

I'm pretty pleased with Landmark so far. We bought a 14-yr-old house and paid for Landmark's home warranty. They cover quite a bit with the warranty. Within the first 6 months the dishwasher, the fridge, and the microwave all had problems. They repaired the dishwasher (two different problems at two different times) and the fridge. When the part for the microwave was unavailable, they sent us a couple hundred dollars toward getting a new microwave. They are pretty responsive and professional and I'm happy to use them next year!

I've just finished my first year with Landmark and today renewed for two more years. Their coverage is very good, and monthly fees as well as service call fees very reasonable. I appreciate that they provide a heating and a cooling tune-up for only the $60 service fee. They are accessible and helpful by phone. Sarah M. helped get my plan renewed today.

Requesting service is quick and easy, and the technicians they have sent have solved the problems. When it came time to renew, Christopher S guided me through the process. In addition, was helpful when I needed to amend the contract. He provided prompt and professional service, offering to be my “go to guy” should I have any questions.
