The problem I have with CHW is the two times I have reported a claim, it was an out of town contractor. They only come to this area once a week. So, whatever they found out was wrong I had to wait another week before they returned to this area to fix the problem. I could have gotten someone myself and had the problem fixed the same day. I don't understand why CHW don't contract more locally. Is CHW not satisfied with the local contractors or are the local contractors not wanting to do business with CHW. I don't know!!

Only have had one disappointing claim experience but it was resolved. Choice is heads above other Home Warranty companies I have used and been happily surprised at the availability of good techs in the tough Colorado job market! Keep up the great sork CHW!

I dislike that I have to wait more then 72hrs to get a job done!! Now this is the worst thing that happened to me on 1-12-22!!! I had a appointment set for 1-12-22 and they didn’t even come to the appointment on top of that I wasn’t even informed that they reschedule the appointment and I was so frustrated that it happened like!!! I called out of work for nothing and I still don’t get a date for this appointment that was successful and I still have to deal with my problem that been going on with my washer since 1-9-22!!! SMH!!!!!

The Good News: Choice Warranty was quick to dispatch repair technicians to come to the home. Choice was quick to approve the repair and service was restored in a reasonable amount of time. Caution: The reason why this review was only given 3 stars has to do with only one water heater out of two being covered. I received a nasty surprise that I would have to come up with $2250 out of pocket because of only one appliance being covered. Choice does offer optional coverage for multiple appliances like water heaters but you do have to pay extra. Had it been better explained upfront or if the sales rep did a better job in qualifying the customer's needs, this costly situation would have been avoided because I would have wanted the extra coverage from the beginning. Make sure you read the contract thoroughly upfront to ensure you have the proper coverage.

I have had a good experience with CHW, as I have made several claims over the past few years and the problems were handled promptly. However, the last claim I filed on December 12 for electricity being out in part of my home was not fixed until January 8th. The first technician that was scheduled no-showed twice and wouldn’t answer or return calls. Then it took several more weeks for CHW to get another technician scheduled. The technician that came did a great job. I am thankful to have Choice home warranty!

The Tech that was sent to our home was great, I have nothing bad to say about him. when he left, I still have the problem he came out to fix, no fault of his. I believe that somewhere in your ad it tells your customers that it will be fixed or replaced, not true. After he had done what he could do and the problem was still there, he could not get approved to do the next thing on the list . So I still have the issue and he tells me to call his office to get a bid on the replacement. I had another issue that I know could have saved me my $65, only if the call taker had taken my information and told me it would not be covered. No fault of the companies that come out but CHW not doing what they claim they would do.

Any time I've had to get a repair done, I get an appointment within a couple of days at the most. Very easy to reschedule it if necessary. The only thing is this past week I had to reschedule my appointment for the next day. I received a e-mail stating it was rescheduled but the past two days they kept sending me reminders of the original appointment date so I put in another reschedule for the next day. Been very satisfied with the work that had been done in the past.

Initally, we had not had a great experience. We decided to give CHOICE another chance before cancelling, and we're glad we did. Our heater was broken, and once we received the information for the contractor (who was local this time), we were able to schedule an appointment sooner, and he was able to get our heater working for the charge of the service call. It saved us a lot of money and the contractor was wonderful!

Choice Home Warranty had a plan for home owners that covers many,many items that can fail in the average home. Can be very beneficial for most items that fail but not very thing that fails. Read the fine print for the product plan your are considering b4 you pay. Ive used Choice for more 2 years. Its covered the repair or replacement of many items in my home. But is hasn’t covered everything thats failed. So consider your plan carefully based on the items covered and the Choice plan offered. Its good but not perfect

I did my claim online to save time. I needed a plumber to fix the stoppage in my kitchen sink AND fix the slow drain in my bathroom. Your online claim form doesn't allow you to pick more than 1 problem so I picked the main one (kitchen). Then when the service company called, I told them about both. BUT when the technician came, he said that because the work order only said kitchen stoppage, that's all he could do or Choice wouldn't pay them. So now I have to take off MORE time and pay ANOTHER fee for another service call. Which is ridiculous. When I was with AHS, I could indicate several problems on one claim, so that the technician could do all of them at once. VERY disappointed.

My initial calls were hideous. I made three calls and had to threaten to cancel before getting a manager that cd answer my question. The manager was extremely appalled at the lack of service and took action to rectify the matter. Too bad I didn’t get to him first. The repairman who came out was professional and knowledgeable. He got repair done. Problem is that we had to wait 4 days, in 100 degree temps, before he could get there. Meanwhile, my son, with no warranty, had exact same problem at his house. He called repairman from a local listing and got his AC fixed same day. His repair only cost $90 more than mine did, but he didn’t have to pay the annual premium, so, much cheaper. Choice needs more contractors to get the work done timely. I’m in my 60’s and my parents live with us, they’re in their 80’s. A broken AC in Oklahoma summer is an emergency. Our homes are not built to be 93 degrees inside. Repairs should be timely, or the warranty is no good.
