While I am satisfied with CHOICE, I think the contractor should contact the customer prior to scheduling an appointment. Unless you have nothing to do on the date of service, the window seems to be approximately 4-5 hours, which to me is a long time to wait for a technician. Also, the contractor should indicate the types of payment methods accepted by their company.

Was extremely quick to get through to someone to open a claim for my oven. The agent was very nice, professional and answered all my questions. Process was very easy and I got a confirmation email with claim information. Within 30 minutes I already had an email from the technician with my scheduled appointment time. I was impressed with the efficiency all around so far.

Choice was very prompt about getting a service man to work on my microwave. Unfortunately, they opted to replace it and notified me they would email me a gift card to Lowe's for the purchase. The only problem, they said it would take 30 days to get me the e-card. I really need my microwave and having to wait 30 days to purchase one is rediculous. This is the only complaint I have but I really think they should change this policy.

As a newly enrolled customer, we have not yet had the need to use the company. However, we are impressed with the broad scope of home appliances the company covers. Also, feel the amount due when making a claim is reasonable. Our expectations are high, but based on what Choice Home Warranty promotes as their policy for meeting customer expectations, we look forward to excellent, quality service when needed. I have been protecting my home for over 5 years. The original investment may be a bit more than you may have planned for, the long term benefits have certainly outweighs it, have used for appliances repairs, washer, dryer repairs and covered my A/C repair as well, typically once I placed claim a technician was scheduled within 24 hours to come to my home.

I was upset with Choice Home Warranty about a claim I made for my dryer, but I realized later that there was nothing that could be done about the issue with the part until the company recieved the part. The tech came out as soon as they got the part and I realized a check to go toward replacing the washer. So far Choice Home Warranty is living up to its promises.

choice warranty responded quickly, my heater wasn't working and it was 28 degrees outside ,the technician called and came earlier than my appointment, so happy, he went right to the problem and fixed it ,they always send the best technicians ,I had my washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioner fixed and they send always the best ,saving me hundreds of dollars

I did have some trouble with the 1-800 number, but when I went to the website to file two separate claims, I received emails shortly thereafter and had professionals scheduled for both my issues by the end of the day. One of the professionals contacted me directly to see if I could provide more information on the issue and asked if I could text him some photos. He was extremely professional and helpful.

Tech showed 2 days early. He called to let us know he was able to checkout the washer if we are ok with an earlier appointment. Was very polite. Seemed to do a very comprehensive checkup of our washer. Decided what was the issue. Informed us that a part was needed and he would contact us as soon as he received the part. Within 2 days he rescheduled to install the new seal. Great service so far. Very pleased with Choice and Tiger the tech.

I am glad I switched to CHW. They get things taken care of just like they advertise. The appointment set up is fast with hassle. The repair companies they used (from my experience) are very reputable, professional and courteous. I tried another company before CHW that was horrible from beginning to end. The warranty company was like the people they hired to do repairs who could not fix anything, couldn't set up appointments and had no knowledge of what they were doing. CHW has done an awesome job!!! They get the job done.

I signed on with CHW because my previous home warranty provider did not honor their agreement regarding service call fees. This is my first experience with CHW and it has been "smooth sailing. My oven needed a second oven relay control board since the one installed just 5 months ago shorted out. The A&E technician promptly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part (which was delivered to my door in 3 days), and returned to install the board. It took all of 15 minutes and the oven is now heating properly. Thank you, CHW!!

We had a problem with. our refrigerator, CHW dispatched a service company that claimed to fix the problem but hadn't. CHW dispatched another service company and they declared the refrigerator "dead on arrival". The service company reported this to CHW and within the hour CHW offered a fair amount of money towards replacement and gave us a gift card to use at Lowes for the purchase. I was expecting some reason to not pay the claim but instead they handled it immediately with a fair settlement.

They finally found a technician who would commit to the appointment. My pool pump timer had quit working. Jason with Hi Tech Pool Supplies came out and was very professional and friendly. He wasn't able to save the old timer and got approval from Choice to replace it. It all seems to be working fine now. I would recommend both Choice Home Warranty for your home and Janson and Hi Tech Pool Supplies for your pool needs.

So far so good. I just made my first claim. The response was punctual and very polite. I say my first, because, just as soon as my first issue was being tackled, the garbage disposal fell apart. Just the same as my first, I had a appointment within a few hours. Not only that, I was able to reschedule for a time and day that worked better for me and my renter with the people that were contracted out to do the work.

CHOICE HOME WARRANTY was very prompt in approving my claim and assigning the MURRAY PLUMBING representative (P. JARVIS). The plumber arrived the first day and diagnosed that the garbage disposal needed replacing. On the second day the garbage disposal was replaced very professionally, quickly, and accurately. Choice Home Warranty is very responsive when contacted for a necessary repair. An immediate appointment with a repair specialist is set and soon thereafter a phone call is received to schedule a visit.

The agent / customer support person, Robley J. Was like talking with a friend that was genuinely concerned about my concerns with or without the warranty. We even laughed together and that is hard to do these days for the most part. He allowed me the time to really consider if I wanted to make this commitment and answered all my questions. I was so impressed I talked my son into having this warranty for his duplex. If all continues with this company overall I will be very happy and keep referring. Robley is a definite asset to the corporation.

This was my first time needing to use my coverage with Choice. The phone and online accessibilities are great. They just needed to update my phone number otherwise, I did miss my first call as to when the repair technician was coming out. But thereafter, it was easy to do with the online chat option. The person did it while I was on the phone. Then I got email updates for times, options to reschedule and reminders. The tech showed up and called with advance notice as requested. He was professional, asked the right questions and came prepared with the part to fix my washer agitator right then and there. Payment was easy to do online and or through an ap. I was also glad to see that the business association was with SEARS which has been a trusted brand for years now. The home warranty coverage is a wonderful investment in your home and I always recommend it to even my own customers.

The attention of CHW was very good, they solved my problem with the stove that did not worl, the technician who reviewed the equipment recommended the replacement of the stove, and the attention with the case manager was able to solve the adequate value of the equipment. My recommendation is that the delivery of the money to buy a new one is less than 30 days, because in that period my stove does not work.

Claim: #138448240 - toilet leak: The repair was done successfully and I was very satisfied with it, but it took a full week to get the technician out to do it. This was too long which resulted in a week of leaking water (down the toilet drain) and extra water cost. Claim: #140098075 - gas line / heater check: The technician (Baker's Residential Expert) responded promptly and went the second mile to check the system thoroughly. Very nice guy who did find some furnace problems that were due to improper installation. He explained the issues clearly and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with his work. I appreciate Choice Home Warranty agreeing to check out the gas system after a scary gas line report from another vender whom I had contracted to clean the gas water heater. Thanks!

The technician was efficient: he called in advance and told us when he would arrive and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was knowledgeable: he came in and diagnosed the problem immediately, determined what parts he would need to do the repair, went out and got them, returned and finished the job. The task was completed in less than one hour including the time spent getting the right part. He was confident, pleasant, and friendly. I would recommend him, and his company, to anyone.

I like that a HUMAN answered the phone at 4:30AM, the day of my leaking boiler. I did not like that it took from 4:30AM to 2:30PM to get a call from a company....I lost a day's work waiting. I was very happy with the heating company tech who came out the next day; and found the problem within minutes. I like that the tech put a claim into CHW immediately upon leaving and I heard from CHW and the tech in a short period of time. I did not like that CHW did not cover the RELIEF VALVE that needs replacing and is an important part of the boiler apparently. Anyhow, not to hold up the repair I approved the tech to get the valve and I'll pay out of pocket for it. I am thankful that CHW will cover everything else.

I just received an email from Choice Warranty saying that they are replacing my entire Air Conditioner. Choice has showed me again what a great Warranty they are. I have several warranties through years in all my properties but no one but Choice has show me the respect , quick response, great customer service, and above all no playing the blaming games. I recommend Choice as the only true Warranty. Oh and it is cheaper than all the others.

I had trouble with the first company you sent out missing their service window and then rescheduling my service appointments on me despite me calling to schedule a date that worked best for me. I called choice and you canceled A&E and reassigned my case to another service company. The next company was great and did not miss all their scheduled service appointments and showed up on their first appointment window unlike the first company. I was doubtful of your company at first with the first service company you assigned but you resolved my problems immediately!

My first experience with CHW, I had to provide my home inspection so they could determine if my issue was preexisting. If I did not have the inspection I'm not sure they would have covered it. After I struggled to get them the pdf since it was so large a file the email kept rejecting it. They reached out to me and helped me get them what they needed. Once they had the inspection things moved quickly. There was an extra fee on top of the 65$ home visit. I did not see anywhere in their paper work that stated there would be more $needed to complete the repair. If you deny the extra money then they cancel your order. Not sure what that money went to it was not specific.

What I like best is they listen to their customers. When my wife and I came to you all one question my wife ask do you listen to your customers and I was told yes. So far so good. We where with someone else. My wife ask them could they just put us another dryer in our house that was having the same problem they came out to fix before they told her the next thing we knew our house was burning down. I appreciated being able to place my service request online after hours. The next morning I already had an appointment set with a vendor to do the repairs. We had to change the time though because we both work and would not be home at the pre-set time. The vendor answered the phone early the next morning for me and resetting was a breeze. I do feel however that CHW tends to send the cheapest known vendors to do repairs. That is not ALWAYS the best idea. I feel like for the most part you get what you pay for where service and quality are concerned. We shall see how this repair goes. So far so good. No complaints as far as scheduling. Vendor was quite friendly and easy to work with. Hopefully the repair will be just as seamless . Anna K

Lisa did a very thorough job of getting me the best deal she could on our home and our rental house. Now I can go out of town and not worry about my renter and any unforeseen mechanical problems! also, she locked me in at a better rate so that in the next 3 1/2 years I won’t have to go through the renewal process and possibly have a price change. I’ve had other policies through a different company and their coverage was not as good as this one.

I haven’t had the opportunity to fully use them yet for any appliance breakdown but I can say that signing up with them was pretty easy and the rep I spoke with answered all my questions. Super helpful in making sure that my appliances would be covered and for the nominal cost of a service charge to have someone come out and fix or replace what’s broken seems pretty reasonable to me.

Submitted 1st claim on-line. Within hours I received an email telling me what day (tomorrow) & what time range the tech would be there. Got a text & call 1 hr. prior to arrival and he arrived on time. Very professional appearance and behavior. Did his analysis within 20 min., explained to us what was wrong and what he was going to do and then did it. Got approval from CHW and ordered all parts needed. Made an appointment for completion in 2 weeks. Couldn't be more pleased with this first encounter. Glad I switched.

I received a follow up call in the morning from Amy, after my initial call the day before that was not giving me the whole picture of what Choice had to offer. My referral came from LegalShield Member Perks Program so I was inclined to go with the higher rate your company offered than what my neighbors are paying for a competitor. She was able to answer my questions to help me make the decision to override the price which the previous salesperson was not able to do. She had good customer skills and helped to overcome the increase price obstacle because it wasn't the lowest price I was offered which was my Condo Complex. Only time will tell if I made the right decision.

Service and response from the vendor to fix my AC was prompt. Since it was AC and Maryland was experiencing extreme hot weather, I requested the vendor to expedite the service call which they were able to do. i have had Choice Home Warranty for over 7 years. I have had wonderful experience with them. I own an Airbnb and have it for that also. It is true peace of mind to know that all I have to do is put in a request and in a short time I have an appointment set. The fee is very affordable, and I never hesitate to call for service. The service people always respond promptly and give excellent service. I will never not have Choice Home Warranty. Very dependable company.

Quick response to filing claim, but very long wait for actual service for our A/C unit. Not really unexpected, considering the gigantic heat wave we were in. When problem arose, a call to Choice had them make a super effort to get us re-assigned and resolved immediately. We have been with choice for years and are pleased with the responses and the quick, free repairs that have been made. We can't imagine having to try and find someone to call for help for the various sorts of repairs needed, that required so many different types of professional help. One call does it all!

This was my first experience with Choice HW. My dishwasher failed (on Friday the 13th) and Choice had a repair company at my house on Monday morning. A part needed to be ordered, so the same technician came back on Friday to install it. The technician was awesome; he was competent, friendly, answered all my questions and he cleaned up before he left. I’m very happy with Choice HW.

Sometimes you need to ask what is and isn't covered. Sometimes it is a grey area. The best part about Choice is they go out of their way to satisfy the customer. The field agents are very knowledgeable and want to repair your claim. I always cooperate with them and they diagnose the issue as long as you inform them exactly what took place. We got back from a week-trip from Denver to Phoenix and found our AC completely dead in the middle of August. I filed a claim online that very morning. The next day, an HVAC tech had our AC on & running again. It turned out to be a “bad thermostat”, nothing major. I’m not sure how CHW is with more major repairs but for now, I am fairly satisfied both with CHW and the HVAV tech they sent from Valley View.

Choice is the best. I've been with them for 4 years and they've always given me what they have promised. This last breakdown was a garage door motor opener and they sent #1 Garage Door from Orlando to fix the problem. In 1 hour the tech installed a new motor with logic board and my problem was solved. The tech was courteous and knowledgeable and tightened my springs to make sure the door opener would work to perfection. He even lubed the rails. What more can one ask from a warranty.

I have Choice Home Warranty and they are outstanding. I recently had a problem with my dryer and garage opener. They came to fix the dryer and decided it wasn't worth fixing and gave me a cc for Lowes to get a new one. They also came and replaced my garage opener and it works perfectly. Both appt came the next day after I called amazing. I have a 5yr contract because you never know when something breaks and you don't have the money to fix it. For a $45 service call they either fix it or replace it and you can't beat that.

From the time I notified them of my air conditioner problem until the a.c. being back in service was about 24 hours! And I contacted them on Sunday! I’m extremely pleased with their rapid service and follow up. The technician that came here had the problem diagnosed and repaired in a short amount of time.
