The contractor that was initially assigned to do some work at my house was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. in fact we were, ao satisfied that now if we have a claim, I call the contractor give him my authorization code and he takes it from there. great job.

He was very courteous and fixed my washer quickly. He also explained the problem was a clogged small thimble part in the back of the washer. Had to replace a garbage disposal in Aug. was contacted within a reasonable amount of time but had some problems coordinating with the company for the install. Currently have a claim through our management company, Vacasa, on a microwave that quit working in our condo. Need to get fixed or replaced as soon as possible due to renters coming into the unit

I was uncomfortable at first with online repair claims. However, I received an email response and scheduled visit within a few hours, the repair company called to confirm , and a repairman showed up ON SCHEDULE. He identified the problem, requested the parts and scheduled a second visit. I even received an email about the parts order and a second visit confirmation. Better than many repair calls I’ve made over the phone.

When I signed up the contract, the seller told me that limited roof care was included. When I called days ago customer service said that it wasn't and hung up the phone when I was trying to explain my side. The second person I talked to, as I was going through my contract, said "yes roof care is part of your contract" then when I explained what had happened (I guess took a second look) and said that it wasn't. (At least, he was professional. I would say a bit more customer training since I was told one thing and it was inaccurate. I do appreciate the professionalism and expertise of the people who have come to my house though.

I called for a stopped kitchen sink and the next day services by Jason had a appointment for me by 3pm.He was very professional wore mask and booties on his feet. Fixed sink clog and recommend products to keep all drains running great and safe productto use he is also a handy man I will call for swamp cooler open and clean and close.Highly recommend. Choice home warranty. A great company I has American Home Shield before witedweeks for the repair to be done.

The day after I called Choice for two electrical problems in my house, I was contacted by Ace 10 Home Services and an appointment was set for the following morning. The technician called to tell me he was on his way. He arrived on time, listened to the electrical problems and solved each one. Took the time to explain the reasons why our sink issues could have occurred and what products to use and not use. Very concerned about cleanliness of the work area. The other time I had a problem with my air conditioning unit that was only seven years old & cost $2,500. to replace the coil, Choice did not pay anything on it, because It had some corrosion on it. I was very upset because I had never filed a claim before in two years with them. However, just lately, my 14 yr old washing machine is no longer able to spin the water out of my clothes, so they are going to replace it. It is a Maytag & I have always taken good care of it & it has only been used for me & I’ve made sure to never overload it. Needless to say, at this point I’m happy with Choice!

So far Choice Home Warranty has lived up to every promise made to me when I switched warranty companies. Quick claim response; knowledgeable professional contractors; and friendly customer service. I have one been with CHW for three months and have to make three claims. Microwave, pool booster pump, and most recently, stopped shower drain. Each claim received the same prompt, efficient service. I am very satisfied with the decision I made to change warranty companies.

Every time I call for a claim all the representatives are very nice and professional but I am having issues with my last caim regarding my heating system. The technician seemed to be very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about but he fix 1 out of 2 issues. He fixed the leak but he did not fix the heating part, which was the most important thing. My Tennants are without heat in the house for over 6 days now. I call 2 days after the technician's visit but he hadn't reported anything back to Choice home warranty. Without his report, we can't move forward with the claim. Now I am about to call it again and try to fix it this issue

Miguel with Feniv’s is a very nice professional young man with a massive understanding of his trade. He checked our AC/heat pump unit and assessed the problem quickly and efficiently all while keeping me informed of what he was doing, what he found, and what he was going to do to temporarily fix it including the part that was needed for the permanent fix. He was even patient with my little chihuahua that thinks he’s a pit bull.

Over the years I have used Choice three times. (Garbage disposal a few years ago and again this week and the furnace a few months ago.) In each case they scheduled the appointment and sent out a technician that was great. My main reason for using Choice is that it is so difficult for me to find technicians and Choice has been great at that for me so far. I have been happy with the service and delighted with the quality of the technicians' manner and knowledge. They are the next best thing to being capable of doing it myself.

I have been with Choice Home Warranty since 2015. My home was built in 2010. The company has provided many technicians for repairs to my home from appliances, HVAC to electrical issues. They have not disappointed. The service fee is fair and if an appliance was too expensive to fix, they paid off (actual worth) claim. I have referred many of my co workers to them, but they did not get a plan and they have suffered financially because of repairs they had to make. Choice is a great plan for a great price.

It was so easy when my washer broke down. Just call they assign a repair person. A picture of the repair person pops up and tells you all about them and when they will come out. It was very accurate and the gentleman was very nice and efficient. He had to order a part but explained the process and everything worked out. All fixed and now time to do the laundry!

I thought that the technician who came this time was very good. He even showed up early which is always a plus to me. The last time I called CHOICE, noone ever returned my call about my refrigerator and I had to pay outside help. This time, he only could "diagnose" the main issue and not fix it. He did something to help my dishwasher but now I still need CHOICE to send a plumber for the main clog so I can use my kitchen so I'm still waiting. I just think there are some efficiency kinks that need to be worked out so that people aren't as inconvenienced and they feel they are cared about as clients.

I like the prompt response to a claim. I dislike some of the challenges posed when getting some of the repairs done. When I pay for a repair service covering broken items, I expect them to be repaired. I don't want to have to fight with CHW due to some minor technicality in the agreement. I want the services I paid for on demand. I don't want to have to justify or explain what caused the damage, breakage, or disruption in the covered item no longer functioning or operating correctly. Ultimately resulting in acquiring a lawyer to defend my interest and agreement nor working through the aggravation and stress this poses.

I am new to Choice Home Warranty so the repair to my heating system is my first encounter with them and I have to say that I was very happy with their service. The system was repaired within 12 hours of my calling Choice - and I called at 11 PM. I am in the FL Keys where service is slow due to the "Island Time" mentality so getting such quick service is/was no easy task, but they did it!

This was my first time having an issue with any of our appliances. When I called Choice Home Warranty, I was transferred to an automated service which was fast and easy. Within a couple of hours, a technician was at my door to assess the issue. The very next day, I not only received an email from Choice stating that our claim was approved but I also received a call from the technician. They will be out in a couple of days to repair my issue. I couldn't ask for better service!

I just purchased a home and wanted to have a warranty to cover the things in this I don't have a history of service or care. With that in mind Choice gave me a great price and are a company with a great reputation so I feel comfortable with having them as my Home Warranty insurers. I spent more on my plumber today than I would with this warranty, point being a single service call is expensive having a warranty with a small service fee is the way to go.

Customer Service was exceptional, less than 3 minutes wait time, pleasant and professional people on the other end, who were NOT from an overseas call center. While I am satisfied with CHOICE, I think the contractor should contact the customer prior to scheduling an appointment. Unless you have nothing to do on the date of service, the window seems to be approximately 4-5 hours, which to me is a long time to wait for a technician. Also, the contractor should indicate the types of payment methods accepted by their company.

Choice was very prompt about getting a service man to work on my microwave. Unfortunately, they opted to replace it and notified me they would email me a gift card to Lowe's for the purchase. The only problem, they said it would take 30 days to get me the e-card. I really need my microwave and having to wait 30 days to purchase one is rediculous. This is the only complaint I have but I really think they should change this policy.

I have been protecting my home for over 5 years. The original investment may be a bit more than you may have planned for, the long term benefits have certainly outweighs it, have used for appliances repairs, washer, dryer repairs and covered my A/C repair as well, typically once I placed claim a technician was scheduled within 24 hours to come to my home.

I was upset with Choice Home Warranty about a claim I made for my dryer, but I realized later that there was nothing that could be done about the issue with the part until the company recieved the part. The tech came out as soon as they got the part and I realized a check to go toward replacing the washer. So far Choice Home Warranty is living up to its promises.

Tech showed 2 days early. He called to let us know he was able to checkout the washer if we are ok with an earlier appointment. Was very polite. Seemed to do a very comprehensive checkup of our washer. Decided what was the issue. Informed us that a part was needed and he would contact us as soon as he received the part. Within 2 days he rescheduled to install the new seal. Great service so far. Very pleased with Choice and Tiger the tech.

The repair companies they used (from my experience) are very reputable, professional and courteous. I tried another company before CHW that was horrible from beginning to end. I signed on with CHW because my previous home warranty provider did not honor their agreement regarding service call fees. This is my first experience with CHW and it has been "smooth sailing. My oven needed a second oven relay control board since the one installed just 5 months ago shorted out. The A&E technician promptly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part (which was delivered to my door in 3 days), and returned to install the board. It took all of 15 minutes and the oven is now heating properly. Thank you, CHW!!

We had a problem with. our refrigerator, CHW dispatched a service company that claimed to fix the problem but hadn't. CHW dispatched another service company and they declared the refrigerator "dead on arrival". The service company reported this to CHW and within the hour CHW offered a fair amount of money towards replacement and gave us a gift card to use at Lowes for the purchase. I was expecting some reason to not pay the claim but instead they handled it immediately with a fair settlement.

They finally found a technician who would commit to the appointment. My pool pump timer had quit working. Jason with Hi Tech Pool Supplies came out and was very professional and friendly. He wasn't able to save the old timer and got approval from Choice to replace it. It all seems to be working fine now. CHOICE HOME WARRANTY was very prompt in approving my claim and assigning the MURRAY PLUMBING representative (P. JARVIS). The plumber arrived the first day and diagnosed that the garbage disposal needed replacing. On the second day the garbage disposal was replaced very professionally, quickly, and accurately. Choice Home Warranty is very responsive when contacted for a necessary repair. An immediate appointment with a repair specialist is set and soon thereafter a phone call is received to schedule a visit.

The agent / customer support person, Robley J. Was like talking with a friend that was genuinely concerned about my concerns with or without the warranty. We even laughed together and that is hard to do these days for the most part. He allowed me the time to really consider if I wanted to make this commitment and answered all my questions. This was my first time needing to use my coverage with Choice. The phone and online accessibilities are great. They just needed to update my phone number otherwise, I did miss my first call as to when the repair technician was coming out. But thereafter, it was easy to do with the online chat option. The person did it while I was on the phone. Then I got email updates for times, options to reschedule and reminders. The tech showed up and called with advance notice as requested. The attention of CHW was very good, they solved my problem with the stove that did not worl, the technician who reviewed the equipment recommended the replacement of the stove, and the attention with the case manager was able to solve the adequate value of the equipment. My recommendation is that the delivery of the money to buy a new one is less than 30 days, because in that period my stove does not work.

Claim: #138448240 - toilet leak: The repair was done successfully and I was very satisfied with it, but it took a full week to get the technician out to do it. This was too long which resulted in a week of leaking water (down the toilet drain) and extra water cost. Claim: #140098075 - gas line / heater check: The technician (Baker's Residential Expert) responded promptly and went the second mile to check the system thoroughly. Very nice guy who did find some furnace problems that were due to improper installation. He explained the issues clearly and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with his work. I appreciate Choice Home Warranty agreeing to check out the gas system after a scary gas line report from another vender whom I had contracted to clean the gas water heater. Thanks!

The technician was efficient: he called in advance and told us when he would arrive and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was knowledgeable: he came in and diagnosed the problem immediately, determined what parts he would need to do the repair, went out and got them, returned and finished the job. I like that a HUMAN answered the phone at 4:30AM, the day of my leaking boiler. I did not like that it took from 4:30AM to 2:30PM to get a call from a company....I lost a day's work waiting. I was very happy with the heating company tech who came out the next day; and found the problem within minutes. I like that the tech put a claim into CHW immediately upon leaving and I heard from CHW and the tech in a short period of time. I did not like that CHW did not cover the RELIEF VALVE that needs replacing and is an important part of the boiler apparently. Anyhow, not to hold up the repair I approved the tech to get the valve and I'll pay out of pocket for it. I am thankful that CHW will cover everything else.
