This time was considerably different. I reported my problem in the online location. There is normally a phone call to both of our phones and an e-mail to note the company and time of appointment; this time no calls but there was an e-mail. The tech called about 45 minutes prior to his appointment to advise of his arrival time. When the tech arrived, he was advised of the reason, he diagnosed the unit and quickly made the repair. Very short, sweet and pleasant encounter.

So far so good. My first experience using Choice was for an AC issue. I never received a notice that an appointment had been set by text or email however, although i received the name of the company. I had to look in the Choice website to realize i had an appointment but it was the wring appointment DAY after all! I phoned the company to find out the correct day and time. Also i stated that my AC was not working and although it was at the end of April, luckily it wasnt mid August! it was days before i got an appointment! I gave 4 stars, however, because the technician who did service my unit was outstanding!! I rate him 5 stars PLUS!! His name is Mark A with Adkinson Mechanical LLC in Pearl River, LA. I will continue to use him for maintenance of my HVAC system and any issues not covered by my home warranty! So thank you for introducing me to him!

I have written a glowing report on CHW after using them for the first time ever. Today, Saturday, April 29th, I filed my 2nd claim with them. Within fewer than 10 minutes, I had heard from CHW and an appointment had already been made for Monday, May 2nd - only 48 hours away. I never had sich wonderful service through my previous homeowner's warranty! Thank you!!

I was able to easily submit a problem on the website and within 24 hours I was assigned a company to come check it out. The only thing I didnt like was that I didnt have a choice on when someone would come, I had to work around their timeline. The company that came was excellent, professional and solved the problem in one trip so my only out of pocket expense was the service charge.

I spoke with two representatives-the first one who was very accommodating and helpful, and the second one to correct a one digital mistake inadvertently made by the first representative. The second representative was also very helpful and accommodating and the error was corrected immediately and the second representative told me where to find it on my policy. Both were very courteous and helpful and what I liked the most? I didn't have to wait on the phone forever for someone answer both times when I called. That was awesome!

CHOICE Home Warranty has never let me down. They are quick in responding to inquiries and claims. The technicians that are assigned to do the repairs are knowledgable and highly skilled. Sometimes a repair company is not immediately available for an emergency situation, but CHOICE gives you the option to contact an outside agency and CHOICE will reimburse them. If an item cannot be repaired, CHOICE will compensate you to purchase another appliance.

This is my first claim and are waiting for parts for the refrigerator , but they were ordered and supposed to be installed on May 2nd to get the ice maker working. But I was pleased with the service person. I do believe when I originally bought the five year contract, my copayment was $50.00 not $65.00, but like everything else, it appears the price went up.

I looked into Choice Home Warranty because of their good rating I found in a search online. As usual, the sales person who called attempted to offer more for longer at a reduced rate but more cost upfront , which I was not interested in. After advising I was not interested, she went on to offer more incentives. She was just doing her job and did a good job of trying to sell me more. t got to a point where I sort of felt like I was in a car dealership. haha I'm sure I will be happy with the warranty. Again, the sales gal did a great job.

Today when I called in to move my service to my new home, Maurice was on top of it, gave me a great 6 yr price and had me on my way with a new policy within minutes and did it all with a cheer in his voice!

Price was great and amenities and coverage--however, I will say this, three sales people (I figured this out only in the end) contacted me after my initial inquiry about signing up. I answered the first person, Sonny, and then Aaron sent me a note to join. I thought it was Sonny passing me onto one of his sales people...but then another person (name escapes me) sent a note--I looked at titles of all three and they said Sales Executive or something like that. You should all speak in one voice once a potential customer reaches out.

Very quick response time after initially filling out the form for service. Many times within hours they have gotten back to me and already set an appointment with a repair co, if not then always by the next day. I have a Choice Warranty contract on two homes, for the most part I’m very happy with them. There have been a few occasions where the technician they sent was not very good and did a pretty bad job, but when I did fall to complain, they usually tried to make it right.

I chose CHW because of a heavily discounted 30-month plan that was offered to me at a price well below other companies' year-by-year prices. Most of our appliances were old at the time. I made two claims within the first year of the plan (one for A/C and the other for clothes dryer), both of which were processed and paid promptly. The two claims exceeded the total cost of the warranty and I still have 18 months left!

I had to call 3 times in order to place my claim, 1st time the call was disconnected when someone tried to answer, the 2nd time I called I used your auto call back feature.......,no call back. The 3rd time I finally talked to a live person who took my information and gave me a claim number, when I asked for the name of the company being assigned, no answer, as soon as I hung up a company was assigned, however it was 3 days out. when I contacted the company I asked if they could make it sooner and they were more than accommodating and came the next day got right to work in in no time had my A/C up and running. If it wasn't for that company I would have given you 2 or 3 stars

When I signed up the contract, the seller told me that limited roof care was included. When I called days ago customer service said that it wasn't and hung up the phone when I was trying to explain my side. The second person I talked to, as I was going through my contract, said "yes roof care is part of your contract" then when I explained what had happened (I guess took a second look) and said that it wasn't. (At least, he was professional. I would say a bit more customer training since I was told one thing and it was inaccurate. I do appreciate the professionalism and expertise of the people who have come to my house though.

I called for a stopped kitchen sink and the next day services by Jason had a appointment for me by 3pm.He was very professional wore mask and booties on his feet. Fixed sink clog and recommend products to keep all drains running great and safe productto use he is also a handy man I will call for swamp cooler open and clean and close.Highly recommend. The other time I had a problem with my air conditioning unit that was only seven years old & cost $2,500. to replace the coil, Choice did not pay anything on it, because It had some corrosion on it. I was very upset because I had never filed a claim before in two years with them. However, just lately, my 14 yr old washing machine is no longer able to spin the water out of my clothes, so they are going to replace it. It is a Maytag & I have always taken good care of it & it has only been used for me & I’ve made sure to never overload it. Needless to say, at this point I’m happy with Choice!

I have one been with CHW for three months and have to make three claims. Microwave, pool booster pump, and most recently, stopped shower drain. Each claim received the same prompt, efficient service. I am very satisfied with the decision I made to change warranty companies.

Every time I call for a claim all the representatives are very nice and professional but I am having issues with my last caim regarding my heating system. The technician seemed to be very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about but he fix 1 out of 2 issues. He fixed the leak but he did not fix the heating part, which was the most important thing. My Tennants are without heat in the house for over 6 days now. I call 2 days after the technician's visit but he hadn't reported anything back to Choice home warranty. Without his report, we can't move forward with the claim. Now I am about to call it again and try to fix it this issue

Miguel with Feniv’s is a very nice professional young man with a massive understanding of his trade. He checked our AC/heat pump unit and assessed the problem quickly and efficiently all while keeping me informed of what he was doing, what he found, and what he was going to do to temporarily fix it including the part that was needed for the permanent fix. Over the years I have used Choice three times. (Garbage disposal a few years ago and again this week and the furnace a few months ago.) I have been with Choice Home Warranty since 2015. My home was built in 2010. The company has provided many technicians for repairs to my home from appliances, HVAC to electrical issues. They have not disappointed. The service fee is fair and if an appliance was too expensive to fix, they paid off (actual worth) claim. I have referred many of my co workers to them, but they did not get a plan and they have suffered financially because of repairs they had to make. Choice is a great plan for a great price.

I thought that the technician who came this time was very good. He even showed up early which is always a plus to me. The last time I called CHOICE, noone ever returned my call about my refrigerator and I had to pay outside help. This time, he only could "diagnose" the main issue and not fix it. He did something to help my dishwasher but now I still need CHOICE to send a plumber for the main clog so I can use my kitchen so I'm still waiting. I just think there are some efficiency kinks that need to be worked out so that people aren't as inconvenienced and they feel they are cared about as clients.

I like the prompt response to a claim. I dislike some of the challenges posed when getting some of the repairs done. When I pay for a repair service covering broken items, I expect them to be repaired. I don't want to have to fight with CHW due to some minor technicality in the agreement. I want the services I paid for on demand. I don't want to have to justify or explain what caused the damage, breakage, or disruption in the covered item no longer functioning or operating correctly. Ultimately resulting in acquiring a lawyer to defend my interest and agreement nor working through the aggravation and stress this poses.

The system was repaired within 12 hours of my calling Choice - and I called at 11 PM. I am in the FL Keys where service is slow due to the "Island Time" mentality so getting such quick service is/was no easy task, but they did it!

This was my first time having an issue with any of our appliances. When I called Choice Home Warranty, I was transferred to an automated service which was fast and easy. Within a couple of hours, a technician was at my door to assess the issue. The very next day, I not only received an email from Choice stating that our claim was approved but I also received a call from the technician. They will be out in a couple of days to repair my issue. I couldn't ask for better service!

I just purchased a home and wanted to have a warranty to cover the things in this I don't have a history of service or care. With that in mind Choice gave me a great price and are a company with a great reputation so I feel comfortable with having them as my Home Warranty insurers. I spent more on my plumber today than I would with this warranty, point being a single service call is expensive having a warranty with a small service fee is the way to go.

Customer Service was exceptional, less than 3 minutes wait time, pleasant and professional people on the other end, who were NOT from an overseas call center. While I am satisfied with CHOICE, I think the contractor should contact the customer prior to scheduling an appointment. Unless you have nothing to do on the date of service, the window seems to be approximately 4-5 hours, which to me is a long time to wait for a technician. Also, the contractor should indicate the types of payment methods accepted by their company.

Choice was very prompt about getting a service man to work on my microwave. Unfortunately, they opted to replace it and notified me they would email me a gift card to Lowe's for the purchase. The only problem, they said it would take 30 days to get me the e-card. I really need my microwave and having to wait 30 days to purchase one is rediculous. This is the only complaint I have but I really think they should change this policy.
