I have been extremely unsatisfied with my latest service from Choice. Took them three different tries and five days to get someone out to look at our furnace that still isn’t working in the middle of December in Illinois. Completely unprofessional.

They have claimed that my repair was turned down because of a fire. No fire was involved but just an overheated element in the dryer that caused the damage. The tech said it was a mechanical problem that caused the overheating. There was NO FiRE INVOLVED. CHOICE PLEASE CALL ME, THANKS.

I was with them for three years and then I finally needed to file a claim due to an issue with my furnace. They denied it immediately (even though 3 different HVAC companies looked at it and said “normal wear and tear for a 16 year old furnace”).

made a claim over a year ago, the tech said he had to get a part, never saw him again. made a claim 2 days ago, paid the $85, the plumber said there was a hard object stuck IN toilet before it reached drain, needed new toilet, DENIED on grounds that don't even apply to the situation!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. On our first and only claim with this company we had to pay for things that should have been covered in the policy but were not. The item being repaired wouldn't have functioned without the item the policy wouldn't cover!! What kind of garbage is that? I will not not recommend Choice Home Warranty!!

Upon review of your specific claim, the failure that occurred to your unit, is not “Included” in accordance with the terms and conditions of our policy.
Although this type of failure wasn’t covered under our policy terms, this is only 1 out of the 15 systems and appliances in which we provide coverage.

First time making a claim and was told it was going to be a free service call, but I still got charged. Also, since my warranty is about to expire I keep getting calls every day to renew. After this claim, I’ll definitely not renew. They don’t cover what I need fixed anyways.

It took forever to get an appointment. My refrigerator is not fixed. A part needed to be ordered, but the appointment to install the part is over a month away. I had no choice in day or time of appointment. Not a great first impression. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable.

Have a sink leak requiring removal of a cabinet to stop the leak, and apparently through the contractor, CHW has declined to commit. I've paid for a plumber and have no positive outcome. I can't honestly recommend CHW after my first claim with this company.

I am very dissatisfied with Choice Home warranty. Every time something goes wrong in my house and I submit a claim they deny. I pay money every month for a service that dont take care of there customers. And after talking to other people who had CHW they said that's why they cancelled the service.

Took over a week to get a contractor to me for a leak. They referred me to companies no longer in business and others with no openings for weeks. Once they finally got someone to me they denied the claim stating the entire line would need to be replaced. I had another plumber come the next day and repair it for less than 150.00.

I reported a noise in the wall behind the toilet and damage being done to the wall; the appt was set up a week later as the water damage continues. By this time the water has seeped into the adjoining bedroom closet and has caused the floor to buckle. I called Blue Plumbing and they came out on 10.23.21 and fixed the problem.
