They seem to avoid the actual question that I have. I am currently trying to work with them on my air conditioner and they originally quoted out on their network and the company they found just came out and I told him what I needed and then I was advised that the company they sent was no longer part of their network. So I went with the original company and it's been almost a month and we can't seem to give them the information they need on how they want it broke down because of repairs, they keep asking for more detail. I just think they make it really difficult for companies to want to work with them.

The time I had to use my warranty was when I had to have people come out and fix my air conditioner and then I had to order a new one. I just think that they don't send out the best but I did find one that I really liked and they were able to change it out for me.

I had an issue with my air conditioning and they did not have a technician to come out so they offered the reimbursement option. I am still waiting to be reimbursed. The company that assisted me does not provide itemization in the fashion that is being requested post instalation and CHW has not made any advances to repay the out of pocket expense. There are basic google options that provide the details they are seeking and even if they came up with a breakdown that aligns with my region that would be acceptable however they are offering nothing and that shows that they are nit customer oriented at all.

I am a new Customer and I wasn't approved for any claims. The claims team didn't work with me to dissolve the issues. I paid out of pocket for a new water heater for my first claim denial and after 6 months, I was denied again and I have to pay out of pocket to repair my air handler leak. I also paid in full for my year contract and I paid 2 service fees without receiving repair. I hope I don't have anymore appliance issues because I don't have confidence that CHW will approve my claim. I should feel secure with a home warranty, but instead, I feel ripped off. I asked to cancel my contract, but that will be a $50 cancellation fee. More money out of my pocket. This is an expensive lesson. I will never buy a home warranty. I'll pay out of pocket for repair because it'll be cheaper and I won't have to stress if I get denied for a claim after paying for a warranty. I think CHW will deny any claim that will cost them over $50. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I have had home issues starting in January when I moved into my home. I think only one issue has been fixed and has not gotten worst after this whole time here (washing machine). When I would try to reach customer service they would give me the run around until I got ahold of Lauren K's number. But what is ridiculous is my realtor team had to call before I could even get a person to communicate with me. Hilltop plumbing came out and butchered the job of trying to fix my ac. The customer service guy was rude and yelling and chewing in my ear and screaming at his technicians if they were coming to my place. The guy showed up like 30 minutes late making me late to go pick up my daughter from school. Later upon his leaving he social media requested me which was unprofessional. He then came back to finish the job and caused my ac unit to start leaking causing another issue. Then Final Touch came out to fix my sink. I saw him tighten and he advised to put a fan down to dry the spot and sprayed mold spray. Days later and the spot has now covered my entire floorboard and black mold appears to me growing. When I went to him about it he was nasty with me and told me since I saw it leak one time from the left basically it wasn't his problem bc he fixed the right side. My thought I is it's the same unit, a sink, what does it matter what side you did. Please ethically fix it! I'm disappointed in the venders and the excessive times I have to pay service calls bc they say it falls under another category. They take advantage of people who don't know what category it is so we pick what we think sounds like the problem only to have to pay to have an issue fixed that was supposed to be resolved. I am a single parent getting no help and cannot afford to be doing this. Going into the next year I won't be partnering with Choice again.

They do not cover as expected (example $500 on a $850 washer & only $200 on a $650 dishwasher. Better than nothing but not as good as I had hoped. When refrigerator door flapper broke company charged me $65 to tell me choice warranty didn't cover that. As it turned out part was no longer available & I had to replace refrigerator at my expense

Choice I have not been able to get technicians out or out in a reasonable time meaning 28 to 48 hours.Technicians are not going for the process if I have to choose one myself and I'm having to pay out my pocket and still pay a monthly fee to you all for the service contract.

Choice sent the technician and he did the diagnosis and said that he's got to order parts and he would come back and I still haven't got anything back yet.

I think they suck. Their sense of urgency is not existent. My air conditioning unit went out during a thunderstorm just before a holiday weekend. I told them I had a transplant patient living with me at the time that I was caring for that we couldn't wait five days without air conditioning. We ended up staying like seven or eight days in a hotel that cost us a lot of money and they didn't cover any of it. I would rather pick the vendors I want to work with, not the lousy one they pick.

On May 18, 2022, I was using my turbo boiler on my cooktop burner. I heard a loud pop, then a crack. The top of my cooktop did crack!! I've used a ceramic cooktop for over 20 years and have never had this happen. I called Home Choice Warranty, unable to get through to a person, I was instructed to go the website and fill out the claim info on line. Initially, they sent A & E Factory Service out on 6/23/22. So things looked okay at that point. They said that they would order a new glass top part to replace the broken one, and the piece would arrive at my home within the week, if not, call them. I called A & E to let them know I didn't receive it. They said they couldn't get it and they now had to order the piece from the manufacturer. Another week or so later, they said that the manufacturer doesn't make that piece anymore and that Home Choice Warranty would have to get a replacement cooktop for me. After that, it was a game of me going back and forth with both companies. Home Choice kept telling me that they needed a diagnosis from A & E. A & E kept saying they already gave Home Choice the info. I told them Home Choice never received it. I requested that they call Home Choice because I was stuck in the middle of their lack of communication. A & E said that Home Choice for sure received the diagnosis because it was uploaded into their portal that they use. Meanwhile, while they are trying to get their stuff together all this time, I have no cooktop!!! When I was finally able to get through to Home Choice, they said it needed to be an official diagnosis and A & E hasn't provided one yet. The person I spoke to apoligized and said she would look into things. On 6/24/22, TWO MONTHS LATER, I received a denial of coverage because they said we didn't take care of our stove properly! I will definitley resubmit and have Choice review this claim. The cooktop is only six years old and we "baby" it. So no foul play involved. I intend to send pictures of our kitchen/ appliances to show the care we put into our home. So for now, I'd give them a "0" if I could with all of the time and stress they are causing us, when we thought we took the necessary steps to avoid this!!!

YAC was not cooling. There was several companies to check the AC. It took a year before they decided that I needed a new AC. When it went out it was when the temperature was extremely hot that was it June when it stop cooling and through the rest of the summer.

I've called them about my ac, after they sent a tech out to fix it, on the 10th of June, my pipe outside started frosting up, not quite frozen yet, I called them back on the 10th to tell them my situation, long story short,I haven't seem the tech yet, even after they told me, ye would come back and I don't have to pay the 85. So I called a few days later, and the girl said, she was getting a hold of them, because the tech had to give them a diagnostic update, she even told me she was on the phone with them, while she was on the phone with me, told me to call back the next day, and they should beable to tell me what's the next step, I called back two days later thinking I'll give them a extra day, the girl who answered this time, says, no diagnostic was uploaded, I'm like than I was lied to by yall!!, so she tells me she's gonna send the tech a email, to call me, I waited, and no call for like three days, I called the company personally, they said,no one sent them anything!!! We pay a home warranty company to help us, and I'm not feeling like yall are!!

My HVAC system stopped working. I called and submitted a claim. A tech came out and said and electrician needed to come out to replace the breaker in my box. That tech came and tried to swindle money to have the entire box replaced unnecessarily and hike prices to replace both breakers when they as worn and rusted as he led me to believe. Then I needed to have an HVAC tech come back out but was through a different company. He said he needed to order a switch and after he not returning calls and never hearing from him again, another company came out and said it was a leak;not the switch but would be $1200.00!! Your company refused to resolve this claim stating it was due to normal wear and tear. This system is only three years old. I set up an appeal and AGAIN,was denied any help in resolving my problem since parts under warranty. Its the labor to fix it that would have been a tremendous help to me but your company refused to help me further. This is a new warranty that my father strongly spoke very highly of your company in having one with you himself for 6 years and was very satisfied with. He is appalled at this outcome as am I and considering not renewing his warranty as I am also. This is the first time I have used your services and from start to finish have been DISSATISFIED! I will be speaking of my experience with your company to everyone. My father has also shared this with his friends and family. I am still without a working HVAC system and have medical problems that is being effected by my dead end situation with all of this. I cannot afford to have it fixed. I'm upset over the weeks of ongoing appointments, lost time from work, the amount of time all of this took to just be left without a solution, a fixed system and extra frustration and anxiety I medically just cannot afford to have and my myself and children suffering in the summer heat. It's horrible how you will take money but when it's needed to be used for services paid for, you turn your cheek the other way, have a blind eye to standing by your customers and their needs and don't think twice about it or even meeting me half way and negotiating something that can be worked out to help the very customer that depends on you and your services when needed.

The repair person came and said our icemaker could not be repaired because of parts unavailability. Choice offered me under $400. To settle my claim when it costs $2450 for a new one. When I objected, I was told a senior claim adjuster would contact me and when she did I voiced my objection, she asked me to supply some additional information. She said she would email me within 24 hours and I could respond. After 30 hours, I hadn't heard from her so I got her email address and sent the information. It has been 10 days since I talked to her and still no word. I have recommended several friends to Choice and they are now Choice customers. Now I regret doing so.

I tried to speak to the case worker and she still said no. I'm calling my own repair man.
