Worst company to deal with an hour on hold all the time, just a waste of time from start to finish. The quality of professionals that are assigned to projects are well below average, most have horrible reviews. I would never choose to do any type of business with this company.

AHS rep lie to you, the person they contract has to wait for them to send part b4 they can fix Issue. Also these people who come to fix your issue try to get you to pay out of pocket for something that’s covered. Very fustrating. I got AHS for peace of mind not agracvation tired of all the lies and crappy people they contract .

If you want to wait for hours (literally) to speak to someone about a problem you are having with the home warranty.... this is the company for you. Customer Service is not a high priority with American Home Shield.... they are more interested in taking your money.

Such a sloppy company when it comes to service. The wait times are ridiculous and the service is subpar. If you are elderly and or not comfortable with technology pick another company. You want be able to access a live person and will be stuck using online servicing. The day I canceled my account was the best experience I had with AHS.

I am not happy with the service we received last week on our dishwasher. The dishwasher is still broken. It is not pumping out the water and again I have a dishwasher full or yucky smelling water. He DID NOT fix the problem. I want someone else to come out and fix it.

Customer service is terrible. Have never called and had a wait time of less than 1 Hour. I have requested to speak to a supervisor on several occasions, but one has never returned the call. I have tried to cancel this agreement, but they have to call you to confirm and will not call me. Just a bunch of bogus.

Horrible!!!! They will take your money every week like clockwork but once you need them they are cold, unfriendly and offer no customer service needs in your favor!!! I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Take it from my experience find another company!!!!!

Very Rarley do they come one to fix the AC Unit. Min Two trips. Repalcement AC Unit is a old unit rebuilt 10 plus years old. Don't really state that in there sales pitch.

Less than HALF the time I get a call from a professional when I have submitted a request for service! Wait times when calling AHS are RIDICULOUSLY long and frustrating! They claim to cover all the important things, but FAR from the truth! There has been ZERO follow up on previous jobs that require patch-work!!

Terrible company/ horrible customer service, no communication, over an hour wait time on the phone. It’s been 3 weeks now that I’m waiting for a part for my refrigerator and I had to call to find out the status but you have to prepay / they don’t care about their customers anymore, have been with them for over 15 years- shameful

The texts threatened to drop my coverage! Well I’m considering dropping your coverage as well! Is anyone in charge of AHS?

Each time that i have called for a plumbing issue, i have had to call 2-3 additional times for service. I am very dissatisfied with the contractors that are used. Mays plumbing and H and K plumbing.

wait times to talk to someone ALWAYS over one hour had two companies and 4 different workers trying to fix air conditioner had to finally hire someone that knew what they were doing will cancel as soon as I am able to speak to someone to get deductible returned for work not completed.

called thurs 11/2/2017 and as of today 11/6/2017 i still have no apt for anyone to come out i have been on hold for over a hour and half today no one answering the phone to help me resolve this problem. pay every month and got nothing to show for it. but a stopped shower that has been sitting here 5 days.

Their phone services is not good. Waited over hours and just to be hung up on. I'm not to happy right now. Wasted my time today call in for a request on celling fan. I went online to try that way and even worst no detail to request another different problem. I think I'll be shopping for new service soon.

I would give AHS a zero if I could. I have a plumbing repair that is still not finished from about a month a go. I paid the $75.00 service fee already. The owner of the plumbing company said that he needed to order a part that would take a few days to receive. I never heard back!

It would have been much nicer if I could talk to someone. I had an issues and tried to call on several occasions to be told the next agent would be available in 45 min. to an hour. I don't have time to wait for someone to talk to and this happened every times I called. So, bottom line, your customer service sucks big time.

Absolutely useless. Either AHS doesn't cover any part of the repairs but still charges the service fee of $100 for essentially doing nothing or it sends out contractors who have a review of 1(!) star on yelp, which of course results in order cancellation and full repair covered out of pocket anyways.

Every time i call its a 45 min wait. this time one hour and 52 min. You cant email them either. And when they finally answer they have to transfer you to a different department and again wait for over 30 min. The worst possible customer service line ever.

Contacting customer service is the worst with AmericanHome Shield. I am always on hold for a long period of time and end up gettingtransferred around. Often times my issues are not resolved and I am forced to call back again.

Absolutely terrible service all the way around! Do not waste your money! Hold times on the phone of well over an hour, refusal to pay invoices, then hung up on when asked to speak with a supervisor after waiting on hold for 70 minutes, the rep I spoke with could not even tell me the date an invoice was supposedly paid.

Very inconsistent on billing practice. We wren't informed of an outstanding bill until we tried to have service again. We paid that one and the next was to be charged 2 days later. We start getting nasty notes saying we are delinquent and have tried to call the company to clean up the misunderstanding. VERY FRUSTRATED!

A.C. went out in the middle of summer but American Home Shield refused to fix it that day. It was 98 degrees with a heat index of over 100, but since the outside temperature was not 105 they refused. Terrible policy especially if you live in a high humidity city.

I had a fan that was working but out of balance. I told customer service this and paid the $75. Fee. Sent out service guys for a re balance, then said not covered because the fan is still working. I ended up buying a new fan. They screwed me.

Have a problem with oven. Company that was sent to do the repairs, changed two parts. Unit is still not functioning properly. I asked them to leave the ticket open and they have not responded to me. AHS needs to use better service companies to do their repairs. All I'm getting is a bunch of lip service.

Four year subscriber here. A covered item is being denied after 3 American Home Shield contractors have inspected it and turned in claims. The last one was told by AHS that he was too expensive. I have called nearly everyday for 6 weeks and been on hold for 30 minutes to over an hour every time. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I'VE EVER SEEN.

I paid for my contract and come to find out they do not use local contractors in my area, which they use Houston area and they will not come out to mine. Therefore I have paid for a service that I can not use.....REALLY! They have not heard the last of me!

This company has very little concerns about your home after yo pay them. I requested a/c service on the 31 jul 2017 and had service company come twice and it has not been repaired as of now and can't get any help from AHS . I'm not pleased at all with service and as of now would not recommend them or service company to anyone.
