Just had serviceman leave. He was excellent----but AHS would only authorize $10 per pound for freon, the out of pocket cost to us would be $460 to repair ac unit. What a crock of dodo!!! I pay $89 per month (approx $1000 per year) for coverage.... and they jerk me around like this. Taking my business elsewhere---fast !!!

i have two repairs requested. first was reported on June 14th 2023 is still not resolved and new request second request started on August still not resolved refrigerator broke it is now August 22nd and not repaired. this is terrible service... It's 3 months with no resolution! Parts have still not arrived for service request for June 14th!

The contractors that they assign to the claims are extremely unresponsive. It took two weeks to get my air conditioner fixed. The pool Contractor couldn’t fix the issue and never followed up. When you call customer service, you simply get the runaround.

Home shield is to expensive, I pay 115 a month, so that I only have to pay 65 to 75 dollars for a contractor for a repair, I just found out, not only am I pay 100 to 115 a month to have home shield, I'm paying 100 for a repair, it went up 25 dollars, just like that

A scam at best. They don't approve claims based on your experience just what the inspector assumes happened to my duct work. I own the house and not once did anyone ask me about how the duct work has been from the time I purchased the house to now. Customer service folks are subpar.

Came out in a week, I had to follow up on the part a week later, tech didn’t know what parts he needed when he did come out, didn’t come back that day or when he said he would, when the repair didn’t work I had to start all over again. The drywall man did a horrible job on my wall. He did not smooth out the mud he put on the wall and he left all the mess he made putting up the Sheetrock, pieces of Sheetrock were all over the floor, up the steps and and in the foyer.
