They don't take care of there customers . Every time you call them something is not covered. They charge me my monthly fees and non refundable visits. We have been with them too long not to receive Better Service. Customer Service is terrible also. You place a work order and they don't put in everything. They are just a waste of Money and Time . Don't Do Them

Awful! First claim they told us that our desired contractor wasn't on their list.. we found out later that they were! Then, they sent someone who wasn't on their preferred list. After our second claim for a different issue, they withdrew from my bank account, without my permission or notifying me, THREE additional claim fees, on different dates, totaling $225! These occurred two months later. Thank goodness my husband noticed them! I would NEVER recommend this company!!

You people received payment from my escrow on Sept 20th and deposited same then when I called on Oct 13th to get someone to look at my washer you insisted that I pay again. I have sent 3 copies of the check from escrow that you deposited and a copy of my bank information showing that you deducted the second payment from my bank account. I want my second payment returned immediately.

I liked them at first for easy fixes, but as soon as something big happened they have been denying my claim on a heater. Said because a switch is broken that it isn't installed for diagnosis and therefore can't cover the replacement.

I have had two bad experiences with AHS and its referred professionals. The first involves a plumbing leak that was apparently denied because of a construction error. I never received a denial letter or the report from AHS. The second involved my HVAC system and an electrical line problem. Again, no letter of denial or actual report provided. Despite getting a rate increase I. The past year, AHS has been useless as a home warranty. I am within a month of cancelling.

If you like calling AHS several times a day and calling their techs simultaneously several times a day, then just throw your money away. We took cold showers for weeks until it was resolved. It's sad when you talk to your friends about the same company, and everyone comes to the same conclusion that it is a scam. One friend gave up with AHS after 6 weeks of her dishwasher never being fixed by them.

Most recently, I had to pay 2 service requests because I didn't specify the leak under our sink could be from the faucet. I put pipe leak only because I had to choose. I'm not a plumber. The water could have been coming from anywhere. Very frustrating.

I have to call them again as the leak I called. about two weeks ago is worse now and plumber said it was just loose connections. I am very disappointed I refuse to pay another $75 when problem should have been addressed then. This is the third time that I have had plumbing problems in last 5 years and I have to have someone come out more than two times to fix it. I have two houses insured and I am not happy that no one seems to do their job. It is always half way done and not quality work.

I recently had my refrigerator go out and it took them over four week to send someone out that was qualified to replace the failed compressor. Also I had to talk to support rep several time to find a quantified technician to fix the problem. I been a customer for years and the customer support personal is horrible. I sent most of the time on hold and for some reason every-time I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told on one was available. Absolute horrible experience with the recent service request.

I'm disappointed, I had my dishwasher serviced 4 times for the same problem. The dishwasher needs to be replaced and it cost $100 every time to have a technician fixed the dishwasher and home shield is refusing to replace it. The money I spent every month plus 4 technician service I could have bought a new dishwasher.
