I have the doorbell and inside cameras and the doorbell camera. I think I have sensors for all my doors. And I got the glass one too, you know, the one if you break the glass it sets it all. The salesman I talked to, Rivers I think was his name, did a really good job selling the system to me. I have been really satisfied with everything so far.

Called in today to speak with Technical Support. Got a great guy named Dan.... He spent 37 minutes on the phone with me explaining things about my system that I did not know. He could not have been better or more professional. Sorry I did not get his last name to give him credit.

Read some negative reviews and don't understand. I have Vivint both in my Home and in my Business, and have NO problems at all. My Cameras work great, I love being able to turn up or down my Air Conditioning not being in either location. I think the problem with others is they don't know how to actually use or work the system.

Amazing customer service, I love being able to get alerts and pull my cameras up right on the app on my phone. My kids love seeing who is at the door through the nice panel inside the home. The monitoring center is prompt in the event of an alert and I feel 100% safe with Vivint

great company and great products. A bit more money but has more features than most and will discount for add ons. Been with them 5 years and never an issue, even no charge to move from texas to georgia and install new equipment. as I had in texas.

With each upgrade the technician arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and professional. Also, with each upgrade we received a .substantial increase in technology with a very minimum associated cost . .

Everything about my account with Vivint has gone great. It's a small thing, I do love the fact that their install team put booties on when they came in my house because some of them come in with dirty feet, so I thought that was nice of them.

Everything has gone quite well with Vivint. The one thing I am not crazy about is the price. I understand all the features that Vivint gives but the price is like $60 a month. It's just the price is very high compared to other companies. If they can't minimize it then it's understandable. But the price is very high.

We have had Vivint for about 2 weeks with NO problems. The two gentlemen that installed the system were super nice, friendly, and cleaned up. They explained everything they did, and let us know when they need to be upstairs. The app works great for all the family.

As a home owner who has experienced a robbery ,I was researching security systems when I found Vivint on- line. Called the Company, made an appointment, discussed equipment plans, decided on a plan and installation was scheduled. That was about three years ago and have been happy with services to date. I was able to use a sensor that locks my automatic garage door. I currently feel safe in my home. I have peace of mind knowing that this system is reliable when I leave home, if for a hour or for a week. Security is a priority for me.

Yesterday I called Vivint Customer service since my automatic lock was not working. I got disconnected but they called me back. It took a while to set up and correct the lock, customer service was persistent, they did everything possible to help me. I call that true dedication and professionalism and customer service at it's best.

We love our system. They respond much quicker than ADT did and I get notified every time my kids come home from school with a video clip from the camera. Def makes my wife and I happy and works great. It seemed pretty pricey at first but for everything you get and all the system does, it's worth it over some cheap outdated system.

I am fairly satisfied with the security component and only moderately satisfied with their home automation services. I do use some of their home automation services but it's been a little bit unreliable. It doesn't work all the time. I've had to have them come out to resolve several problems over the years. They need to work on their reliability of their home automation side of things.

I'm just really glad we have Vivint. We were broken into about two months ago but I didn't have the alarm on. I just never thought anybody would break in when we were home asleep. So now, it's on every night and I never turn it off. They have been excellent in every single way.

I have no complaints. I'm satisfied. Well, the indoor camera it doesn't always record a motion, but the rest of the system is good. There was one instance when my son opened the door, I didn't have it locked and the alarm was on. The customer service called me right away and I gave over the phone password, everything went fine. I'm glad I have them.

After reading the comments on this page I went to Armorax's site to see what they offered; they've partnered with another security company and their starter package I believe starts at $0 down. The panel and sensors are Qolsys, so that's good. Monitoring is priced well too, so all in all a great deal.

We have had Vivint for about 6 years and love it, response time to an alarm is within 1 min. And if you don't answer the cops are on the way! I love being able to control everything on my Android phone. Great work keep it up!

I'm very happy with Vivint. The only problem I have with them is that they keep changing my payment cycle and it kind of throws me off. But I'm still able to make the payments on time. So other than that I'm very satisfied with the company, with the service, and their support.

My home is complete with Vivint products, cameras, ring door, etc. My complain is with the Ping camera in my home which I have called numerous times about. The camera was detecting motion every 20 seconds during the night (no one up, lights out, etc). They finally sent a replace after I got angry (I should mention I also purchased a new main panel). This camera now doing the same, motion during the night, no views/ events at all on the panel (dark), but you hear sounds. I'm an older person who relies on this equipment for safety/ security, really getting tired of call customer service , losing faith in products and will not recommend to friends that have asked about it at this time. I outright purchased all the equipment and just pay a monthly fee. Seriously thinking of getting rod iron work done on my home windows and doors, something I can trust.....

Good security company. Security hardware is good and modern. We like the ability to see our front doorbell camera and driveway camera over the Internet no matter where we are. It's also good to have video clips from both cameras to go back and check activity. Installation didn't take too long. They are quick and responsive when you have an alarm situation.

I am pleased with the security monitoring system. If the alarm is triggered they will reach out within seconds . However the thermostat is not working. I called for assistance and spent 70 minutes on he phone with a technician. The tech had me going up and down the stairs to turn off house electricity, boiler etc. He concluded that he would express mail a new thermostat to my home. I’ve been waiting 6 days. I called to check the status of the mailing yesterday. I was placed on hold by a rep. Waited 10 minutes and was disconnected. This is disgusting. It’s cold and I am unable to turn my heat on. Also the door lock does not work properly. We can not disarm the door with the code. Every time one of my family members enters our home they have to run to the panel to disarm so the alarm does not trigger.

They have been very good to me and my family. Whenever there is a alarm going off by us triggering the system they have called with in seconds. On the phone they have been great and if anything comes up they have taken care of it immediately. So bottom line they have been great to us and we are very satisfied with Vivint.

Tech installed firefighter audio sensor and glass break audio sensor. Tech does not know how to do a real test on firefighter and glass break sensors. Asked the tech to call supervisor for assistance. Tech call office and spoke to Emelio. Asked how to do a real test of sensors. Both supervisor and tech said that they only check the signal from the sensor to the panel, NOT A REAL TEST. I insisted to test the firefighter sensor by blowing smoke to the local smoke detector 6 inches away from the firefighter sensor. Tech hesitantly activated the local Smoke alarm, but firefighter DID NOT send signal to Vivint, nor Vivint call me for a fire alert. VERY DISTURBING. Vivint is installing firefighter sensors and not testing them with real smoke test on local smoke detectors. Tech did not also do a real glass break sound test on the glas break sensor. How do they know it really works after install?Vivint is putting people's lives in danger. Vivint techs and their supervisors need to be trained. People's lives are more important than sales! Below is the chat conversation with Vivint Support: 12:29:49 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) I'm so sorry to hear that you've upset about the firefighter. we can't guarantee the firefighter device will pick up the alert from your existing smoke detector. Due to the fact it is an audio detecting device and if the smoke detector is not hitting a high enough decibel it will not detect the alert. 12:31:53 PM Me NOT THE GREATEST ANSWER. YOUR TECH INSTALLED THE FIREFIGHTER 6 INCHES FROM THE LOCAL SMOKE DETECTOR. SMOKE ACTIVATED ALL 5 SMOKE DETECTORS IN THE HOME. STILL FIREFIGHTER DID NOT SEND A SIGNAL NOR VIVINT CALL ME FOR A FIRE ALERT. 12:34:17 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) I understand the frustration there. From what you are explaining to me it sounds like your smoke detectors are not hitting a high enough decibel to trigger the fire fighter. 12:35:10 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) Our firefighter detector does work. What we can't promise is your smoke detectors will trigger it as we can't guarantee the function of non vivint equipment. If you would like fire protection you'd need to have a Vivint Smoke Detector installed. 12:38:36 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) The fire fighter is not a fire/smoke protection device it is an audio device. 12:39:14 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) It has a test button on it, the smoke detector does not require real smoke to test. 12:40:58 PM Morgan J (VIVINT) Our smoke detectors have a laser in them. when the laser is disrupted it sets off the alarm. When we use the test button it disrupts the laser as manufactured and by blowing smoke into it it does dispute the laser but can damage the equipment, which is why we don't test it with smoke and after an actual fire or smoke alarm we schedule a tech to inspect the equipment . The fire departments should also be informed about this!!!

The technology is impressive and the customer service has been professional and adequate, I had my system for about 2 years now and everything works as it should.. I have every piece of equipment minus the water leak sensor..Had a few issues in the beginning but all has been sorted out.. I recommend it since i bought all of my equipment upfront, all i pay is $21.50 per month with no contract.. I continue to add to my system whenever possible...purchased equip in dec/2016...

I think this system is the best ever! And I recently got it! And absolutely love it! I read these reviews, I hope to not experience these things, according to my friends that have had it for a few years, they have not had these issues. People just like to complain, to complain. I think everyone should get Vivint!

I purchased a Vivint system through Best Buy. There is no contract and I pay $19.95 a month to self monitor my home. I have smart locks, a doorbell camera, and an indoor camera. When ever I have called customer service it has been top notch. I read these bad reviews and that is not my experience. If you are interested in a system, go to Best Buy.

I have Vivint and it’s been 2 years. If they don’t up date the system it will go off line / fail you because I experienced it! But when I called to complain we work together and got it right and I’ve falling in love with this company because watching it live happens to be great because of the update on the system. Have had Multiple other companies. Vivint has blown the doors off of. We have so much more equipment and can open and close our doors and our garages. They set us up with multiple cameras. We can even talk through the door bell and the indoor camera. I can’t believe i have ever had anything else in my house. I am a lifetime customer for sure!

I have been with Vivint for about 8 years and am looking for another company. First, the system goes offline with a "Failure to Communicate" message routinely. Second, the sensors fell off my doors. I could not get anyone from the company to re-attach them--tried three times. Once, a Vivint rep was in the neighborhood and he said he could fix it. He never showed up. I ended up reattaching them with superglue, semi-successfully. Third, the company used to have a program where you could pay the yearly bill in one lump sum and save one month's payment. They cancelled that option a couple of years in. Fourth, they are more expensive than other systems that do the same thing and more. Finally, they do not respond when I email them. They did respond quickly when I accidently set off the alarm a couple of years ago--police were notified right away. But I want better customer service than I'm getting,

I can see and speak to my children when they are with a babysitter which I love!! I also like the doorbell camera. Someone hit my car and ran but it was all caught by my doorbell camera, they found the guy and damages to my car are being taken care of!!

I LOVE MY VIVINT HOME SECURITY! They have been extremely helpful and I always feel safe. My doorbell camera is amazing and so is my keyless entry. The carbon monoxide detector is connected to the fire department and they have saved my family twice. Thanks Vivint!

Pretty slick system, I agree with some folks when it comes to uninformed Best Buy employees, however Vivint folks cleared it all up. The fact that I can add other smart devices to the system is an added plus. Installation was on time and professionally handled.
