System failures are almost daily. I get notices that my system has disarmed itself and certain entry points are offline. It is very disconcerting in light of the fact that I am 300 miles from home.

When I say that an alarm is all set, no need to send police, and they promise to call....frontpoint on two occasions has sent the police and now I am going to get charged, and wish this could be reversed, and I asked for the police not to come.

Mostly oleasqnt but I had a faulty modem, which I returned and followed specific mailing instructions. I was told if I did that I would get a new modem plus a refund. I got billed and never got the refund. Not happy.

I'm not sure this is the best system for a rural area. I have had a few false alarms and several of the rooms go off line for a period of time. Also, one of the motion sensors recently fell to the ground.

Frontpoint is pretty easy to install by yourself. If you're renting, you can being it to a different house if you need to, which is the best.

The equipment after a while stops reading, the sensors don't go off, the app tells you the doors are open when they're closed. They also let people that know my pass code from my alarm order things without my knowledge and then held me responsible without even telling me that they were ordered.

Technical assistance was very basic and didn't resolve the issue. I have two sensors that routinely act up and their advice was "move them, see if that works" and then emailing me a 20% coupon to buy new sensors. I'll fulfill my obligation but will likely look elsewhere when that's up.

They need to have the alarm start off with a lower sound and then build up to a higher sound. We forget to turn off alarm and it kills our ears when it goes off

The system has issues communicating with several of the door sensors. The options displayed in the app for the hub (i.e. volume, light level, etc) are not available which is disappointing.
