I got my service in January and I've had numerous issues with this service. To start, their staff from salesmen to supervisors don't seem to be on the same page. The salesman that I talked to even gave me their number but they never picked up when I called back to tell them I was having issues. Set up was easy, but I've had a lot of other issues after that. Right out the box I had bad products. I'm on my third control panel because I had issues with the first two. The third one seems to be working well so far. I was advised to buy a garage door opener, which I bought, but it hasn't been able to get connected to the whole system. They also sent me a door lock that I had to set up and then take back down because the code that came up with the manual was the wrong one. I'm even missing a few parts still. Now I'm just paying for the service while I wait to get equipment that actually works. In the meantime, my house is not secure at all. I think I'd be better off if I had paid a middleman to come and install the equipment so that at least they can make sure everything is working properly from day one. I regret calling them, it has been more of a headache than anything since I got it.

In comparison to other services, they have a better price and an easier to use system. The equipment is great, but the sticky part that you use to put it up on walls doesn't exactly work on all doors and windows. That might require some extra work. On the sales side of things, they are very responsive, they did an excellent job on that part. It was pretty aggressive and I hoped that would carry over into customer support, but it did not. Customer support kind of falters after the initial sale, they're not very responsive via phone or email.

Monitoring: The response time when ANY alarm goes off, maybe within 5 seconds. It is to the point that the monitoring “learns” your behavior or knows when it is you as to why the alarm(s) go off. Incredibly accurate and comforting. Well worth the $50/mo. Equipment: I love the DIY setup, beyond easy. Almost flawless. Indoor equipment matches anything and any decor. However the outdoor cameras could use work - nigh vision is a little blurry beyond 10’ and a little large/bulky. I also wish there was a tightening knob of some sort so adjusting the camera to your angle liking was just as flawless as the overall manual setup. App: interface is definitely user friendly. Clearly labeled on the home page and plenty of options to navigate to or through. Links from the home page are precise and exactly what you are looking for. Pics/Video from app: Taking a picture from the app is awesome clearer than the video. The cloud storage is plenty. Like the option if you have kids to throw a Santa Claus in the pic! As for the video, setting up the motion detection is a PITA. It is to the point that I’ve had this security system for slightly over a year and I still haven’t set it up; as much I want to make it work since my girlfriend has asked me 6 times to do it! Video recording and night vision aside, overall I STILL give it a 4/5. I would absolutely recommend this system simply because the monitoring and the beyond flawless setup.

We installed our first alarm system, Frontpoint, a couple of years ago. Have had no issues beyond what we cause ourselves. The customer service is excellent! Very reliable and gives me great comfort to know I am not alone walking into the house! The price is higher than the usual companies but I feel its worth it for the convenience of use and the comfort of the security system. (Love that I can check the status on my phone!)

Great company. I have two accounts in different states and can view each on my phone via the FrontPoint app. I’ve had the contracts for over 5 years without a single issue. I recommend the wireless system. FrontPoint uses your location to determine where you have the most reliable coverage, ie, Verizon vs ATT, etc. I you want a very reliable system with very fast monitoring response time, get FrontPoint. I recommend it to my friends and family.

Have been with Frontpoint for 5 plus years in two different homes and have never been happier. The ability to add sensors, upgrade, move the system myself and outstanding customer service make this my top choice for home security. Reps have been helpful and professional every time I have needed help, with adding equipment to sending me spare sensor batteries. Recently had the alarm go off while we were gone and they handled the event perfectly. Again, could not have been happier.

Frontpoint customer service is probably the most most responsive customer service organization that I have worked with in a long time. When I first setup their home security system, there was a problem with getting some of the documentation with the city processed correctly. After I notified Frontpoint customer service of the problem, they were able to resolve the problem within in a few days of my request. They were awesome!!!

I have had two frontpoint systems, the first in 2016 and then after moving a second in 2019. The first system was great. The second system has been deplorable and a complete waste of money. We can't even set the system for fear of false activation. Sensors randomly activate for no reason. The quality of the equipment has gone way down from the first system.

While the Frontpoint stuff is better than ADT (actively damages trust), the equipment and overall experience of Frontpoint are significantly inferior to Google Nest. I'd be delighted to use Frontpoint as the monitoring service for my Nest equipment.

I have spent collectively, and this is no exaggeration, 12 hours on the phone with their customer service attempting to fix, add, and update their services and products. Currently, I still do not have one of my sensors active. Upon signing up with them, the failed to make a motion sensor active on 'stay' setting in our detached garage, and that conversation was recorded, and we were broken into without any knowledge of the entry. The company gave us 6 months free service; certainly a nice gesture but it cannot replace what was stolen due to their oversight.

Cameras don't always pickup motion. I just came home and indoor camera shows me in the house but never even showed my arrival. Deliveries are placed on porch but never even shows it being delivered or whom it came from. Could be stolen and I would never have even known it was delivered.

Because they were supposed to send me two sensors for a door almost 2 years ago and I never got them. I tried many, many times to call. Everytime I call I get put on hold for a long time and finally get discussed or hang up. The few times I got one person they sent me to another and then I was on hold forever, and gave up and hung up. Meanwhile, our house is totally unsecure and we have been paying 35 some dollars a month for no service. I'm looking at other companies and I have two properties with Frontpoint.
