The system has been fine. However, I am not happy with the cost on the contract versus what the ales rep told us the total cost would be. The sales rep stated the entire system would cost around $800 total, wo-thousand dollars. There is no way on Earth that the equipment we have costs that much! 1 security camera at the garage, one doorbell and the panel, over $2000! That is crazy

I have been enjoying my smart System. A couple of issues I have been having One of them is I'm starting to get "Can't playback Video" When I try to watch a video Clips for the day. Another Problem When I open my Garage then close it I'll get a Message saying " Failed to close Garage" But I just watch the Garage Close. An my Module for my Garage keeps disengaging an It I get a Massage of something like " My Garage lost signal" or something like that an I'll have to Open then close my Garage Manually to get it back active.

It's been a little disappointing honestly. The salesman that came to the house became unresponsive after awhile. It took quite awhile for my stickers and yard sign to arrive, but I did get them. The installer said he was going to throw in a light for the sign for the inconvenience but I have never received it. I called in to inquire about everything, and told the representative on the phone about the items but the light has not arrived. Maybe this letter will get it shipped to me finally. The system overall I am pretty happy with except the price and the garage door system. The garage door open/close feature fails quite often.

nest died and i was left in the middle of the summer without a thermostat. apparently the nest is defective or something. the cameras constantly go offline. instead of doing proper wallfishes the installer drilled holes in the ceilings and dropped cabling down the wall to a power socket. installers should be certified electricians able to handle situations that make installations look shoddy and second rate. my wifi works across the street with full signal yet cameras literally 20 ft from my router frequently go offline. im not very happy at all to say the least. when they work, the service is great but theres usually at least one camera down at all times.

Vivint, at the first was questionable. We had some issues with the initial installation and was was to be included. After that rocky start, Vivint has been great to work with. We had an issue and they quickly responded to make the necessary corrections. I'm glad we have Vivint as our home security.

So far so good. Quality of my 3 outdoor cameras are very good.Have to say the indoor camera is terrible I would not recommend wasting your money on the indoor camera. I have a $29.00 in door camera from Amazon and the picture quality is 100% better than the quality on a & $249.00 indoor camera.You guys might want to go back to the drawing board on this camera. Wish I could get my money back on the Vivint Canmera it flat out sucks.

It has been a very disappointing experience from initial contact with their salesman who lied and said wow showing me letters that he said would be mailed by him cancelling my current security contract and that vivent would pay balance. Both were a lie. Which I only found out well after cancellation time frame had passed. From installation to present they have been a big disappointment. customer service it's almost non-existent. I was on the phone for more than several different occasions trying to get through 2 customer service only to be lied to on more than three occasion about follow up on correcting a problem of their making. if I could have my money back and cancel this contract now, I surely would the only thing I would recommend is stay away from this sheisty business and don't let me get started on the equipment my wife can't speak through the camera when using her phone which was supposedly one of the reasons 4 wanting to get this system. the camera records all the time and the functions on the app that's supposedly allow you to delete excess frames stopped working several weeks ago and it's more problem to try to contact someone on the phone then it is to Everyday go through and delete one photo at a time up to a hundred photos everyday. windy days really cause the camera to record every little thing that blows by and if you back off on sensitivity then it doesn't record when you need it I recommend you go with another company that's what I recommend about this company. Stay clear

Equipment seems to be working well. The panel and the cameras and the door locks are in good working order. It is a bit expensive but it is peace of mind having them run the system. Customer support is great most of the time. On a few occasions I’ve had some difficulty making appointments.

Not good, sales guy name Johnathan said my old adt stuff would work and threw in a few things no charge. When the tech came out nothing was compatible, ended spending more money to get more sensors because this guy didn't have a clue of what he was saying. Afterwards he took some items odd he told us was free, and told the tech that he communicated with the homeowners of what he did when he actually didn't.

I love being able to actively monitor and even secure my home while I am in it or away from it. I personally have chosen silent alerts for the cameras on my home. But I love being able to increase the level of security alerts after a package has been delivered.

Great ideas in concept, poor execution. I've been unable to resolve an issue with a sensor on my main door that does not work which causes false alarm triggers. As a result, I haven't been able to reliably use or trust the alarm system since it was installed. The cameras, thermostat, and automation tech are great. At the end of the day, the sales guy made lots of promises that never came to be, and never followed through. The installer was in a rush and wanted to go home and did not ensure that my system was working properly. I would not reccomend them to anyone, and am going to wait out my contract and then cancel the service and use simpli safe or google nest products instead.

Sales was great. Answered all my questions. Installation was not as good. Left a live hand-connected wire exposed in plain sight. One of the door alarms has fallen off. The notifications on my phone are delayed too much to catch someone in the act of anything. But the video is good at determining what went on.

Their security system had options I liked and their price was workable. The Vivint app lets you manage the system when you're away from home. They are proactive in their customer service. If something is a hardware vs. a user issue, they make you go through the whole procedure before they send a technician out. The hardware is user friendly, and they made sure everything was set up correctly the first time.

I first learned of Vivint when a salesman came to my door. I was referred by other customers and I'm not happy with the way it was handled. I felt pushed into their product without knowing the full price. The salesman was very pushy and basically just had me sign here and there and the next thing I knew, I had a security system.

The Vivint sales representative that came by was excellent. On the other hand, the customer service isn't great. When I had some problems with my system, the alarm went off several days before it was fixed. I was put on hold when I called in. It's very convenient to have the system on my app where I can arm and disarm it.

I have not had a problem with Vivint. I did have a problem with their sales person though. Their sales people will tell you whatever you want to hear and once you sign, they are gone, which is what happened to us. However, in the end, Vivint honored everything the sales person told us.

They need to simplify it to make it a bit easier for installation. I put up one of the devices and it fell off. The glue wasn’t strong enough. I had ring doorbell and it was really easy to use. Customer service has been good. I have to call sometimes to see what my password is.

When I first got Vivint, I wanted to get rid of it because I had a few problems but they wouldn’t let me because I signed a contract. I had twenty four hours to opt out and now I have been stuck with it for six years. That is the worst thing, the contact. The equipment is pretty good. I like being able to do things from my doorbell and being able to monitor from it too.

The equipment is easy to use but it think when the silent alarms go off, they need to be more responsive in the time calling somebody. Forty five minutes later is not responsive. If I was really in trouble I would probably be dead.

Love the service and the continuous recording. The only thing I am unhappy with is the indoor camera, in night vision mode the IR light that comes on causes a weird glare in the image so it dose not give you a very good video. Design flaw.

This home that I bought initially had ADT but Vivint has lower pricing and it was easy to transition because they were able take care over it. It is easy to use and user friendly. They are always able to answer questions.
