Their website doesn't work , there isn't a list of providers as other insurance companies have. I can't pick or change a PCP without calling Ambetter's terrible customer services. They give you doctor's that aren't on Ambetter's plan. I can't get a supervisor to speak too. I will not use them again, Molina was better.

I applied for health Ins this year due to my previous inc being no longer in service. When I was billed for two months no payment was due. This was due last year due to my earnings. Now we get a payment for $3,000 for two months.

They stink! They deny any authorizations so I am forced to pay out of pocket for everything and because they deny the charge the money I am forced to pay out of pocket doesn't go towards deductible. I will pay 6 more premiums and I am switching insurance companies!!

This company STOLE 616.00 out of my bank account without prior authorization. When I contacted them to get the funds back, I was promised a refund by April 30th. I have a voicemail from their billing dept promising me my refund was processed. Never received it. Have disputed it with my bank now. Stay away from this shoddy company!

This is second year with ambetter. This year 2018, I am paying $697.68 for me and my daughter monthly. I went allergy doctor and they denied everything. Not only this case, they pretty much denied every claim last year as well. If I pay this much for no coverage, I think I can shop better health care.

I have Ambetter insurance and pay dearly every month for my insurance, plus the deductible and co-pays. They deny all my claims and will not provide any information on why they deny them. Their customer service is crappy and know nothing more than what I can see on-line. Which after the new webpage was launched is nothing.

Just signed up for Ambetter and when I pick a primary care doctor from there list. I make an appointment and when I get to the doctors they tell me Ambetter will not pay their bills so they are not accepting the insurance. It is scam company with no Customer service support

Poor selection of providers, many of whom are subpar. Not a user friendly site and can almost never get the info on there I need. Hard to find contact info online. It's cheap-but you get what you pay for!

When I tried to cancel this worthless insurance, they kept disconnecting me, failed to respond to email inquiries and said I owed for two more weeks after I finally got through. Do NOT give them your information online... trust me, their quotes are outrageous.. you don't want this company .. next thing you know they are sending me my 900$ bill... When i called to get it sorted out I was hung up on, transferred and put on hold 3 times and never spoke to anyone. I have never been treated so poorly by any company.

Terrible customer service. If they don't have an answer for you, they'll drop your call and transfer you back to the main customer line without any warning. Also seems like they're incredibly new as we've had multiple issues with hospitals being able to submit bills to them even hospitals that are reported to be in-network by Ambetter.

I will be 65 in June & so happy to cancel this terrible excuse of a Health Insurance Company then. Do not use this company they just take your money. They wouldn't pay for anything except flu shot.

Their website has over 20 Otolaryngologists listed. None of them accept Ambetter. I called to find a provider and after a 30 minute wait was told that they can't get any info from their system. I asked to escalate and was told they would get me to someone. After 10 minutes of dead air they disconnected the line.

This is a SCAM! In just a week they already made 2 deductions on my checking account. When I try to contact them nobody is anwering my phone call, and I've been calling them for 2 days now and still no answer. I also been to 5 doctors all of them did not accept this bogus health insurance because they never heard about this insurance.

BUYER BEWARE. As you go shopping for a plan for next year beware that the silver plans are a joke. Its basically a catastrophic plan in a silver coat. If you go to the ER you will have to pay the entire deductible of around $6500 before they start paying a dime. Don't say you weren't warned.

Terrible record keeping, intentionally drags their feet adding new providers. Mine has been waiting on them for over a year, and they keep saying, "30 days." Coupled with deceptive practices and advertising, as well as pricing to force other carriers out of the market, these folks ought to be first one jailed for fraudulent behavior.

DO NOT BUY. It is a sham, no one takes it and they refuse to give you a doctor that is remotely close to you. I live in a major US city and they assigned me two different PCPs in smaller towns 45-60 minutes away from where I live. I live literally 1 mile from the city's "hospital district".

Do not recommend this company to anyone. They don't contract with any emergency Physicians which means they don't have to pay the bill. Then they offer to file a grievance which as I was told " basically just notes that you are unhappy with how the situation was handled.". I wouldn't let anybody I care about elect to get treated like this.

I had a mammogram as part of my annual physical in February. A mammogram is a covered service to be paid at 100% based on their PPO rates. My mammogram provider was on their PPO list. Now they are denying the claim based on I received the service out of network without preauthorization and the bill was submitted late.

I called for a quote , I spoke with an agent name Ramon, he asked a lot personal questions , and after that he offered me a policy for 600 .00 . I asked him if is for the whole year , he states no, a monthly rate. Extremely rude and giving me the run around. I regretted calling this people, waste.

Florida coverage is terrible! They give you a list of providers and then when you call it's either the wrong number or they don't accept the insurance. Avoid at all cost if you live in Florida… I'm just waiting till I can enroll in different coverage.

I am member of your insurance and I hate it.....started paying for my insurance in January and now it is June and I have not gotten any of my diabetic medications approved by insurance....I have tried several other drugs like Invokanna X-r but I could not tolerate it....so I hate to say your insurance SUCKS!!!!

The Healthcare Marketplace switched me over to Ambetter when I moved, telling me Sarasota Memorial Hospital and my primary doctor were both in-network......neither accept Ambetter ! Be aware the Marketplace does NOT have accurate info. (Sarasota Memorial Hospital, also, does NOT accept FL Blue Select plans).

AmWorse insurance doesn't cover anything. They denied my daughter's ER visit, show 10 times more doctors than actually take their worthless "coverage", and those doctors have 2-3 month waiting periods. You're actually better off to pay the fine than get scammed by this company.

Ambetter was a real mistake that I regret. First, there are no doctors in my area and second their communication is poor making it impossible to cancel the policy. They just keep charging me and charging me even after talking with a rep from the government healthcare and Ambetter. Figure I'll eventually have to get a lawyer.

100% of my premium is covered by my ACA tax credit. HealthCare.Gov says my out of pocket is $0 per month, yet Ambetter is requiring I pay my full premium and then some. HealthCare.Gov says that I have coverage, yet Ambetter says I don't. I've tried reaching out to them and nobody has been able to help. Literally a ripoff. Scam alert.

I have been trying for two months to cancel. This insurance premium has doubled and no longer covers my Dr. or clinic. Have made several phone calls both to Ambetter and the market place. I have dates,times and names of people I have spoken with. Even a confirmation number of cancellation. Frustrated.

They don't have any specialist within 200 miles of my area. They have a full list on their website but none of the Doctors listed accepts the insurance and/or their number is out of service. They are not doing anything to help me.

This is THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. I wouldn't even know what the plan coverage is like, because there are constant complications between them and the Healthcare marketplace. I call an average of 3 times a week to get assistance, and each time there is a new complication. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND LOOK ELSWHERE.

I have tried to make an appointment with doctors that are listed on the Ambetter website as being in the network. ALL doctors that I contacted have said they don't accept Ambetter. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR INSURANCE!! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!

Receiving calls and email for coverage that I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR including bills saying my account is "past due" Have spend over a half hour now trying to cancel. This is a huge time waste and very unethical. Auto enrolled from the healthcare marketplace. Total scam. Just because of this practice alone I would not use Ambetter in the future.
