This insurance was properly canceled and Paid In Full at the end of 2016 yet I keep getting invoices, notices to pay and email reminders. The customer service is awful, maybe because no one speaks English but answer your questions with Stock Phrases. I never filed a claim or used the insurance for anything. I just want the have this company stop saying I owe them.

Customer service is a joke. I have yet to call and get any help. I get cut off every time I go on hold. I have gotten two bills and still no card or packet with my plan. The website took my payment but now I can not login, or reset my login. All it requires is a DOB and the member ID. I had to call to even get my member ID. This carrier is a joke. A month without meds and I need a DR.today, but I can't prove I have insurance. Pay more, go to another carrier.

Ambetter is horrible! I've just been trying to fill a prescription for a week and a half and can not get an answer if it is approved or denied. When I call they say they can't give me any information or a status, and tell me only my doctor office can call and get that information. However they are not giving them an answer either. Multiple problems with the ambetter site when we get a log in. It shows you nothing! Very dissatisfied. I will be switching insurance companies.

I continue to receive bills for coverage that I Never applied for. This is a scam! They have obtained names for the people needing coverage in the "marketplace" and they are sending random bills! This would be very contusing to someone who had not taken care of their own coverage. I would NEVER use Ambetter! My doctors will not accept this insurance!!! They are preying on innocent people by billing for unwanted services.

Ambetter is horrible. To get a hold of someone takes forever. Once you get a hold of someone, they ask you the same 6 questions to verify your account. Which is completely unnecessary. The so called, "My Health Pays" rewards program is nice, however, they will not reimburse you for the last 2 months, November and December. They screwed me for 2 years in a row. Lastly, all the doctors offices I've been to hate Ambetter. Once they know you're a Ambetter customer, they start treating you like you're a Medicare customer.

Worst customer service. Automated voice asked for several personal pieces of ID info then customer service rep asked for it all again. Could not get anyone to transfer my call to a supervisor. Ambetter did not renew the contract for the primary car physician I selected and the group the doctor is with in August of 2015, yet it is January 2017 and the doctors in this group are still in Ambetters website.

To get a nurse on the phone you have to go through 4-5 people repeating your insurance information everytime . I only have this as my insurance carrier because its ObamaCare and that's all I was offered. I'm so happy President Elect Donald Trump he will make it right....

Ambetter in early 2017 is failing to maintain current information regarding what health care providers accept patients with Ambetter insurance. Of the hundreds listed in my area, the overwhelming majority were redundant listings of the county health care system (Ambetter seems to seperately list every doctor who works for the county health care system). Most of the rest of the "providers" listed were not actually providing services for Ambetter patients, and, of the remaining few who were, the earliest appointment I could make was over 90 days out.

After enrolling in ambetter which was supposed to have covered my primary care physician I was told at my first doctor's appointment that they do not handle Ambetter because they deny too many claims. after speaking with numerous people at ambetter I found out that the company is not competent in following through or assisting with what I needed. Now I'm forced to get either a new primary care physician or pay for my doctor out of my pocket

So far contract negotiations have been a nightmare scenario. Never before have I seen such disregard, and such mismanagement during a credentialing process. We are not even a part of the network and already I am so disappointed with this company. If this is how the beginning is, I can only imagine what a headache this is going to be for us down the road as far as having a direct contact with someone over at Sunshine Health. Disturbing speaking strictly from a health provider perspective.

I never signed up AND I AM NOT IN A SERVICE STATE! Somehow they have my email address and they emailed me twice that I signed up for their insurance and that I owe a payment! I thought it was a scam email so I trashed it, 2nd email arrived, deleted again. Today in the mail low-and-behold these scum sent me a bill! SCAM!!! Not only did I not agree to anything, I've never heard of them and I haven't been on the Obama Care website in a year! Then I pull up this site and find out that I'm not even eligible in the state I reside in! BEWARE of This SCAM!

Their online portal is terrible, their auto-draft bill pay is terrible, their customer service is terrible, the selection of available doctors is terrible. They keep sending me bills after I have canceled coverage and I keep having to "re-cancel" my insurance with them because of this- its like there is no connection between the customer service department and their main office, so nothing ever actually gets done. This is a terrible company with poor products and poor service.

I've had this plan for a year and I still don't have a primary care provider. They gave me a list of doctors, but when I called each one (at least five), most of them weren't actually affiliated with Ambetter! The ones that were affiliated weren't taking new patients. I finally found a doctor who would see me within Chicago city limits, and the insurance company never updated my primary care provider info so she wouldn't see me again. Also, they only answer the phone during business hours. The 24/7 customer care claim is false.

Scam service. Received an invoice from the company and never signed up. Somehow they are trolling the health insurance marketplace for expiring plans and, unrequested, 'signing you up' and sending invoices (at full rate w/o any tax credit). Don't even think about signing up for this scam of a business. This practice is illegal and a complete rip-off.

For 12 of the last 15 months I was happy with my Ambetter health insurance. NOT HAPPY ANY LONGER! I went in for my yearly eye exam which under my plan is %100 covered. Much to my dismay Ambetter has refused to pay Rockwood health care. (Referred to by Ambetter as an in network provider) rockwood has now turned me over for collection ($350.00) because I will not pay them. Ambetter is clearly in breach of my policy and simply will not pay. Do not do business with Ambetter or Rockwood. You will be sorry!

My husband's dr wrote his script for his insulin to say one time a day, when it was 3 times a day, we did not catch this until time to refill it and of course it was not time according to the records, the dr sent a new script with the correct dosage on it, and they are still refusing it. I had been happy with them until now. This is not acceptable, I will start shopping for new health care.

I'm paying almost 200 a month for CRAP. They've screwed up the copay with my dr's office so much that I now have to pay over 400 for their mistake and they refuse to correct it. I HATE AMBETTER.

Just completed my first month with Ambetter and find I Amfrustrated. So far I had to pay out of pocket for 3 out of 4 prescriptions, none of the specialists I see are in-network and I have tried to locate a replacement for one of them in Indiana and the nearest approved doctor is in Toledo, Ohio! Maybe they have good qualities, I have not found any.

Holy Cow! I hate leaving negative reviews but this is the worst company I've ever had to deal with! They put in the wrong primary care doctor in the system. I tried to contacting them twice by phone. Both times, the representative said she'd update it. When I noticed it hadn't been updated, I tried contacting them through their portal messaging system...twice! Still no luck! In my area, Temple Texas, only a few health providers took Ambetter. They have all recently stopped. There must be a reason. Only one doctor takes it. She's 45 miles away and sucks! all of her reviews are bad. The providers their web site states take Ambetter, do not. Available physicians they advertise do not exists. Its cheap though. This insurance falls under if its that good of a deal something must be wrong with it. And it is!!!

Web site shows all Drs, Specialists, and other services and when you call they don't take Ambetter and the ones that do have to travel over an hour to see a Doctors or other. . Even when you speak to representative and they give you Doctors to call they end up not taking insurance. I don't mind paying but can't find anyone and can't cancel for another insurance plan. They hold you hostage and it's very fustrating. Also have to wait weeks for referral. Should be ashamed to be call a Heath Plan

Worst heath insurance on the planet.....dont walk, RUN away from this company. They have been a complete nightmare to deal with. Their customer service is the worst. As just one example of many, I have had to reschedule my doctor's appointment three times because of incorrect information in their system. Every time i call i am told the new info will be updated in 24 hours and it never is. When I call back, there is no record of my previous call and the whole process starts all over again. I pray this place goes out of business. Open enrollment cannot come quick enough!!

You are literally paying for nothing. Nobody will accept them. The doctors listed on their website as in network don't accept them. If they did they stopped because they weren't getting paid. Good luck finding a specialist, closest one we found is 1800 miles away. The only other option listed is 1849 miles away. Customers service is either in the dark about their network, or paid well enough to pretend. Oh, and the only primary care physician in all of downtown Chicago is the free clinic, although according to their scammy or outdated website there's dozens. .

I'm been trying to find a Dr since April. No one has been able to help me. I am in so much pain and they cant find me a dr. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. Called obamacare told them i wanted to change my insurance because I am paying an ignormuous amount of money for horrible insurance. Do not sign up for the dental/vision option. That is unless you want mercury fillings instead of white composite as this is what they cover for the molars. My 1st visit to one of the providers office opened my eyes to all that us not covered even partially. Better to pay out of pocket for your dental because thats what you will end up doing if you care about receiving quality dental service.

Do not get "covered" by Ambetter. Pay premiums which are accepted by company and discover coverage has somehow been voluntarily cancelled months before. Few doctors and hospitals accept Ambetter and when it is accepted, Ambetter fails to pay. The worst insurance I have ever had--a total nightmare. You would be better off to pay your local dog catcher your premium and get your health care from him or her.

Many of the Dr's listed on the Ambetter website as providers do not accept the insurance. Ambetter does not update the list when a Dr no longer accepts, leading to a deceptive list. I am left with medical insurance I can't use and medical conditions that I can't get treated. This is a horrible insurance and I would not recommend for anyone to use them. RUN! Especially if you have any medical issues. They should not be allowed to call themselves an insurance company.

Ambetter had a "glitch" with my billing months ago and stopped accepting payments. NO ONE notified me and my insurance has been suspended (for over a month without my knowledge). I have paid my past bills, opened a case with healthcare.gov marketplace, and will have to wait for upto 30 days for a resolutions. All while I have no health insurance. I am also currently sick with chest cold/seasonal allergy thing and am dealing with it as best I can with over the counter drugs. This is the worst insurance company I've dealt with and I've been on Blue Cross!

This is horrible , I have this insurance from January 2016. Still I have not received our insurance cards. I tried to find ophthalmologist for my husband from Jan. I called ambetter to help finding ophthalmologist, they give me 3 times wrong doctors appointments.i wasted every time at list 30 to 60 min., till now no result. Finally went to market place and cancelled my insurance yesterday. Now I will have to fight for my premiums I paid for 4 months and not received any services.

I was just my policy was cancelled because of non payment. It was suppose to be drawn out of my account every month. However, that didn't happen. What is with this company. I called previously and they said that I can log on and create an account and pay. Tried that and failed. They gave me the incorrect insurance ID number. Because they are so new (and possibly inexperienced), very few offices in my area accept Ambetter. I am 31 and my doctor's office has more toys than magazines in it's waiting room. I can't find anyone anywhere close by that will accept Ambetter so I can have an MRI done, even with a pre approval letter from Ambetter, no one will take me because the letter does not guarantee payment from Ambetter. My last option is to drive 5 hours to the nearest facility that is in network! That sucks!

The healthcare providers tell you that they accept this insurance then call, then call you during the actual week of your appointment to inform you that they don't accept this insurance. From the provider end, they are HORRIBLE. I am waiting almost a year to get paid on 75% of our claims. I get bounced from person to person as they "pass the buck" to get rid of me. Bill over and over again, and then they tag it "duplicate" as if they have actually paid it. They sent my payments to the wrong address and I had to wait FOUR MONTHS to get it reissued!!! They are MORONS.
