The product is good, but the sales person was deceptive, telling us we’d no longer need gutter warmers, and that we’d have no icicles that could cause an ice jam. We had 4+ foot icicles. When we called, we were told that our contract specifies that Leaf Filter is not liable for ice jams and doesn’t prevent them. AND we were told it would cost us $100 to have someone come to look it over and fix it.

Put them in after leaves were down, have to be resealed when the weather is warm cause first seal didn't stick and now I get icicles hanging from the gutters. The clean-up was not what I would have expected. The installer when cleaning out the gutters prior to installing the leaf-guards, just dropped and left a good about of the leaves on the roof which ultimately either reminded on the roof or washed down on the walk way.

Product seems to work as intended. Issues were with installation several metal brackets and screws were found on the ground after installation crew left. In addition clean out from the gutters was left on the ground and some stained the painted siding.

Had leaf filter installed Oct 4th, the installer ask me if I had any leaks and I showed him 3 spots,he did nothing about the leaks. Since the initial installation your people have been back 2 more times. I called my representative who sold me your expensive product and he said he would have the miters replaced at no cost to me. The next day a man showed up and knew nothing about the miters. He just did more sealing. I am now waiting for rain to see if the problem still exists. For what I paid for this job you would think it would be a good result. Not pleased with Leaf Filter.

After installation I had a flooding problem with overflow due to possible blocked down spout drain and lack of splash baffles at valleys in my roof. After four phone calls to the sales rep and to the 800 number we are scheduled to have someone inspect our job 5 weeks after installation. This is Not adequate customer service.

When it's cold out and the water melts on the roof and starts flowing of the roof hits the cold stainless screen it freezes and flows right of the roof like you don't even have gutters at all the only good thing is they won't fill with leaves and they will work in the summer

I can't say anything yet as to the performance of the product as I just had it installed. I can say the the sales representative explained everything until I was clear on what the product was and its performance. I installer was punctual, professional and efficient. He cleaned up after himself and left no debris. I am pleased so far with the product.

I can’t say enough about the gutter filters. The salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly. The gutters were installed as promised and lasted two weeks until a tree fell on the garage and destroyed part of them I’m now getting quotes to reinstall garage roof, gutters and guards.

The installer said he would fix the end corner of a gutter, but it's still leaking. He also came to our home to straighten a gutter previously installed. Somehow, he tilted the gutter in the wrong direction (away from the downspout), and we had to explain how it should drain (toward the downspout), so he could re-do his faux pas. Leaf Water system has a horrible service department for any visits needed to fix a problem (s). No one will answer the phone or return our calls. We will never use this Company again.

The problem I have had with your gutters is that debris from the roof catches on the screen top and sticks there. A LOT of it! The other problem is that on a gutter fed by a roof valley the water goes over the screen and gutter edge to create a water fall in the center of the step leading to the front door. This did not happen with the previous gutter and had to be corrected on the LeafFilter with an unsightly dam. If I had it to do over, I would not get any screen top gutter. The only solution I can think of with a heavy leaf load would be a snap on lid allowing easier cleaning that is required with a typical water flow around and in top.

The filters are working great. We have had a good number of heavy rains and the gutters performed great. Just one thing…. One of the gutter nails that you snipped off and put back into the hole, fell out. It’s o the second floor. I have the nail. Is that something that you can put back?

The transferrable life time warranty is a big factor. My gutters are very difficult to reach. There 32 feet above the ground ! Way to scary and dangerous to attempt on my own. Finally the Peace of mind, that comes with the Leaf Filter system.

Very efficient for preventing gutter clogging from leaves , twigs etc and let the water flow freely. The most amazing feature that i like about it is that it keeps away the rain water from the house thus reducing damages. Talking about installation , it was smooth and professionally managed by the staff. This has helped us to reduce the cleaning of gutter because it prevent clogging .

I would have given a 10, but They ran out of black gutters so had to use brown in the back of the house. The feet of the down spouts were pictured as metal hinged and able to be lifter for mowing, but they installed plastic tube ones like you'd find in any garden department. I really didn't like being basically forced to sign a service contract before I could discuss it with my grandson. For a one story, simple install, it was very expensive. They did leave the whole work ares clean and took the mess with them. I did not get the leaf filter layer on top of the gutters because the leaves stick to the filter when it rains and then the rains just pour down over the stuck leaves all along the edge of the gutters. Been there done that!

Once the worker came he went over it again and immediately started working. We have had numerous rain storms and I am highly impressed. We also just went through a week of heavy sleet & snow and our LeafFilter Gutter Guard did not fall us. They handled the heavy snow like a champ. After the sun came out and the snow started melting away everything was as before, no problems. Great product. Tony was fantastic describing what needed to be done and didn't miss a beat. Work was done two days later to no disappointment on my part. There seemed to be some leaking because of the way my cedar shingles were. A deflecter was placed there the next day. This company believes in quality service and it shows. I have recommended them to a few people. Quality work and they stand by their work and product. My highest recommendation.
