Multiple calls for service. Someone set appt to look at issue. Waited all day, no one came. Service department said someone came out 3 days earlier than expected when no one was home. No report....no call to cancel scheduled appt. Calls 3 times since and was told I would be contacted. Never happened.

LeafFilter is a quality product. The installation team did a super job of installing and cleaning up afterwards. It was a herculean job taking twelve hours total. The guys only stopped once for a brief lunch. I liked the fact that LeafFilter is a US product with a personable founder/manager. The life time warranty was a selling point as well.

I can't say anything yet as to the performance of the product as I just had it installed. I can say the the sales representative explained everything until I was clear on what the product was and its performance. I installer was punctual, professional and efficient. He cleaned up after himself and left no debris. I am pleased so far with the product.

I can’t say enough about the gutter filters. The salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly. The gutters were installed as promised and lasted two weeks until a tree fell on the garage and destroyed part of them I’m now getting quotes to reinstall garage roof, gutters and guards.

The installer said he would fix the end corner of a gutter, but it's still leaking. He also came to our home to straighten a gutter previously installed. Somehow, he tilted the gutter in the wrong direction (away from the downspout), and we had to explain how it should drain (toward the downspout), so he could re-do his faux pas. Leaf Water system has a horrible service department for any visits needed to fix a problem (s). No one will answer the phone or return our calls. We will never use this Company again.

The problem I have had with your gutters is that debris from the roof catches on the screen top and sticks there. A LOT of it! The other problem is that on a gutter fed by a roof valley the water goes over the screen and gutter edge to create a water fall in the center of the step leading to the front door. This did not happen with the previous gutter and had to be corrected on the LeafFilter with an unsightly dam. If I had it to do over, I would not get any screen top gutter. The only solution I can think of with a heavy leaf load would be a snap on lid allowing easier cleaning that is required with a typical water flow around and in top.

The filters are working great. We have had a good number of heavy rains and the gutters performed great. Just one thing…. One of the gutter nails that you snipped off and put back into the hole, fell out. It’s o the second floor. I have the nail. Is that something that you can put back?

The transferrable life time warranty is a big factor. My gutters are very difficult to reach. There 32 feet above the ground ! Way to scary and dangerous to attempt on my own. Finally the Peace of mind, that comes with the Leaf Filter system.

Thinking of 3 stars out of five and the following verbiage: On the day of, immediately after installation on Dec. 2nd, I noticed several screws and debris around the house on the driveway, patio, shrub area, and walk path. A little messier of a job than expected. However, James responded immediately to address the situation, gathering the screws and cleaning up debris. Since the installation, leaves gathered on the roof resulting in overflowing at least one downspout and roof corners. Jame has opened a ticket on our behalf. However, with the off and on rains, it seems to be taking a while to get assigned. Today, I called the support center, myself, as a follow-up since it has been a week and a half and no date has been provided. James has provided us a date. He has been very helpful.

From estimate to completion was less than a week. Nice people, good job.. only complaint would be the clean up... found lil sharp pieces of the metal wherever they had to cut it. Not a big deal, but I have 3 dogs. Could have been dangerous.

The installation process went very well. The product seems good but the final verdict remains to be cast with potential frequent rains so it's too early to judge. When the estimate was made of our gutter project I was told that the old gutters would be removed from the site, (A service that is built into the bid,) However, when I asked the installerif my old aluminum gutters were going to be recycled, he sheepishly replied that they would not be recycled. So I kept the pile and brought them to an aluminum recycling center. This seems an easy fix for LeafFilter to take the extra step and make sure that a resource like aluminum is not landfilled.

This is a new installment so I don’t know how well the gutter protection works. I did request an inspection and was given an 800 number to call. The inspector came out and found the problem and fixed it on my garage but “eye-balled” my house roof and said everything looks good. He did not get on either the garage roof or the house roof to inspect so we will see …..

The installers showed up early and finished in about 2 hours. I have had a few leaks already but I've contacted the service team and they're coming out in 2 weeks to fix them. I also haven't received my warranty through email yet even though I registered on the website the following day. I'm reserving the 5 star rating until after repairs are made and I receive my warranty, but so far so good!

It hasn't rained enough yet to test the leaf filter system. It looks better on my gutters than pictures and advertising. Ask me these questions after we've had a series of rain storms. I'm up in years and don't want to climb latter's in the rain to clear fir, sitka, hemlock and leaves out.
