It's worth noting that while they sell you on avoiding ice dams, the warranty specifically excludes those. I've seen considerable icicles on my gutters, so I'm not convinced these guards do much to prevent ice dams. My other issue was with pricing and scheduling. They first quote a crazy high price and then slowly reduce it-in my case it came down by over 70% ($17k to $4.6k) but only if I signed immediately. Then I was told to be home the very next day for the installation. So I stayed home from work but they never came or called. When I called at the end of the day they said they'd be out the next morning. So I stayed home again but again no one showed. Finally on the third try they showed and got the install done that day.

This company rocks! My place was scheduled for them to start early during the day (but after I had left for a very early appointment), but I would return about midpoint to check in with them. The day before the install was to be done there was no indication that we were going to be hit with a lot of rain. By the time I had gotten back midmorning, it had rained hard, but the job was complete, the grounds were spotless, and they left me a package wrapped in plastic that contained everything I needed concerning the job, contacting them for followup, and warranty and how to transfer the warranty should I sell in the future. Everyone I had contact with at their company was friendly, professional and courtous. At first when they gave me a quote, I thought wow, this seems expensive; but it didn't take me long to recognize just how much scientific engineering went into their product and that their entire product was made in the US. To me, I got the best of the best, which included a lifetime warranty without any future costs or restrictions which would invalidate my coverage. I couldn't be more satisfied in choosing them and their product! If I had the ability to rate them 10 stars I would have!

The gutters were not sealed properly and continue to leak. Had a hard time getting any one back and new leaks are appearing. The salesperson ghosted me after getting the contract. Very expensive. Gutter waste was put in plastic bags so I had to empty them into paper bags to have it picked up. Gross job.

I had the leaf filter put in so I didn’t have to go up the ladder to clean out the eve trough. In my area we get what I call oak string seeds in the spring. I will have to go up the ladder to clean them off the leaf filter screen. Starting to wonder if they were worth the money.

Was told no subcontractors were used for installation, only LeafFilter employees. The product was installed by subcontractors, and the subcontractor team lead left the jobsite for at least a half hour a few minutes after arriving, thereby leaving his helpers to begin the installation onto my home. I was also told at time of sale that one of my gutters had a pitch issue, which would be corrected by the install team. The subcontractor had no knowledge of this issue, and deflected responsibility to correct the issue. I am not confident that the product I agreed to at purchase is actually what was installed on my home. Overall very disappointed with this experience and this business.

This has been the worst experience of my life. The workmanship is shoddy at best and definitely sub-par. If you are considering using Leaf Filter to install gutters for you....do not. Find someone else to do the work. The front of my home looks much worse now than it ever did. Their gutters are over slopped and the workers left the drip edges completely exposed. This was not the case before Leaf Filter showed up to install new gutters. I am still discussing with them the poor quality of their work and I am asking them for a completely new installation. However, I am afraid that a new installation would not be any better than the original installation, and possibly even worse. Another option I am asking is a full refund of all the money I have paid to them. So far no rtesponse on this point.

I had 3 1/2 inches of rain on May 28 in about 2 hours. Gutters that use to overflow did not overflow with the leaf filters installed. I would recommend to others.

LeafFilter is a quality product. The installation team did a super job of installing and cleaning up afterwards. It was a herculean job taking twelve hours total. The guys only stopped once for a brief lunch. I liked the fact that LeafFilter is a US product with a personable founder/manager. The life time warranty was a selling point as well.

During review of the existing gutters and got a price for them, come to find out the price did not include the screen that goes over the gutter itself to keep any leaves tree branches from clogging the gutter system. When the technician came out to install the complete gutter system they did not include the covering over the gutter frame which based on the advertising you mislead shows them technician installing the protective. Even the brochure that I was given shows the complete gutter system which includes the gutter and the top covering. When I signed up to have the complete system installed the sales person showed me pictures of the system which included the top covering. This is like a bait and switch sales pitch. I am very dissappointed that I idid not get what the salesman sold me. He said I was correct with the advertising and never being told the protective covering was not part of the system!! IfI had to do it again I would play more to the sales and what the sales man tells me instead of going on what is advertized on TV on the Internet and the phone, Very dissappointed!

I have no doubt that leaf filter will keep stuff out of the gutters. Little did I know that it even keeps water out in the winter. Snow falls and lands on the system and blocks any melt from entering gutters until the snow melts from gutter guard. After the system was installed and we had first snow and I called C/S about the water runoff and ice cycle buildup along gutters edge. I was told to install heat tape to roof and gutters.

To date I have not experienced any type of heavy rain in order to see if my drainage has improved. Since there has not yet been any measurable snow where I can see that the drainage has improved and I am not getting any huge ice cycles or ice dam backups, I cannot give a fair rating and truly say that this purchase was definitely worth the money.

Gave feedback once already. LeafFilter Gutter Protection was ok at first then Pine Needles from neighbors yard accumulated all along the gutter so we call LeafFilter Maintenance and they came out and cleaned up the mess, he also said a section of the new leaf filter gutter was not installed so he corrected the problem!
