Hello. My name is William. I am in the central valley of California. My fiance and I decided to purchase a home. And in doing so, we decided to have one built. In that process, one of the things that kept coming to my mind was: get all of the things that needed to be done with the home, all of the maintenance together before it started to erode and destroy my dream home. One of those things that I had thought about doing for quite some time was LeafFilter. The LeafFilter product, it seemed to me like it was protecting not only the house and the ground below but also the roof: the systems within the roof and keeping the moisture out of my home. One of the things that happened upon my first inquiry was, I had a visit from a very friendly salesperson who came to my home showed me several different options of leaf and gutter filter systems that were available in stores and different places. Then she showed me the LeafFilter system that seemed to be the most strengthened and long- lasting system that I could have afforded. The process was very simple. Once we went through all of the setup time and scheduling, the installer came out and in one day was able to get everything completed with very little noise. The system was in place, and I was billed for the amount that I had agreed to. And, it's been in place since. I have made several recommendations, and I will continue to recommend the system to all of my friends and neighbors, and especially in the neighborhood where I live, they're all new homes. And, they are all appreciative of the fact that I have started this process here, and they're able to see it in actual live action. So, um, I hope you guys have a great day.

It is too early to report. Leaf filter was installed (at considerable expense!) only a couple of weeks ago. We have had no rain and leaves have just begun to fall. I was expecting a fix for a gutter that is slightly shorter than the roof, but it was not addressed.

Great product and customer service, but expensive. The install team left screws and wood wedges around the perimeter of my house. Leaf Filter installed a section of gutter above the garage. It has an overflow on the high side, and the Leaf Filter will be back for warranty repair in less than a month from installation day.

I have been satisfied with the gutter filters so far. No major rain has occurred, and of course being summer, no leaf debris has fallen onto the gutters. It will be the test of the gutter filters when these two event happen. Visual inspection looks good. The installers were polite, and cleaned up after the job was finished. The part of the service I would give only 1/2 of a star is the rep that came to our house to give us a price for the installation of the gutter filters. Alex K. was pushy, deceptive and nearly dishonest. First thing he did was give a price of over $10,000. Then suddenly he was able to reduce it to over $5000. Then when the final price quote of $2,237 was suggested he acted like he was giving us a real deal. Next he said that he had some left over material from another job that he could use if we wanted another color from white. BIG lie!. The installers have all the product and it was in boxes that they use as needed. He also implied that life time guarantee was more than just that the gutters would not clog. Well any person who could see the gutter filter would know that the gutter would not clog, but the top of the filter could clog. DUHHH. That is not guaranteed. The last item I was disappointed in was his unethical dealing with the fact that he left off our shed gutters in the final write up. This was discussed at the time of his price. I specifically mentioned the shed gutters to him and he added them to the total feet of gutter to be installed. We added it to the write up, emailed it back and he accepted it. NOW, when the installers came to our home, they had the old contract and it was missing the shed add on. The installers called the service and were told to include the shed. When this happened he was upset and tried to bargain with us saying he could now add the shed for $340. We did not agree with this and his boss said they would add the shed gutters as included in the agreed original price Then Alex complained to us that "this is cutting into my profit" NOT good customer service. He was in my opinion a dishonest person trying to take advantage of an older person. He should be in with the scam callers or used car sales person.

Very nice product that functions properly as advertised. I live in a Loblolly pine forest that can stress any type of gutter guard to its limit. Pine straw will stick in the surgical steel mesh but does not penetrate completely. So far so good. Heavy rainfall goes right through the mesh and discharges out the down spots very well!

Like the idea that I will not have to have my gutters cleaned and no one will be on danger of getting on my roof. I do not have large trees in my yard but have adjoining trees that when the storms come and the wind I get them from property adjoining mine. A little expensive but life time guarantee. Had them installed a few weeks ago and we have had heavy and light rainstorms since. For the most part they work well but there is one spot where debris builds up and doesn’t come off. Water runs over the debris onto the ground. I had to brush off the debris to get it to flow into the gutter in that area again. They will give you a very high price to start. Don’t accept it. Don’t pay any more than $10/ft. Even that is too high but they may not go any lower. The sales pitch is pretty aggressive. If the cost is too high for you just tell the sales rep you are going to keep looking at alternatives.

The product filters out all debris. I have things smaller than a leaf falling out of trees that previous gutter guards bought from a big box store did not keep out of the gutters and making their way into down spouts and plugging them.

The quality is very good. This is the second house in which I have installed these gutter covers. Both salespersons were excellent and knew their stuff. Have an idea about how much you want to pay and they will work with you. On both occasions, they discounted from their initial quote to a number more acceptable to me. Installation was quick and they didn't leave any trace.

The product and installation may seem expensive, but compare that to the cost of a visit to the emergency room or a stay in the hospital if you fall off a ladder while cleaning out your gutters. With that being said the installation and product is fantastic. The young man who installed the Leaf Filters was very knowledgeable and friendly.
