Concord Auto Protect offers three protection plans. Depending on how much coverage you would like will determine which protection plan you should choose. 

The Powertrain plan is Concord's least comprehensive plan, but it is a great option if you're just looking for a basic policy with basic coverage. The Powertrain plan covers the following components:

This is because every vehicle make and model is different. Extended warranty contracts are governed by state regulations, so there is no straightforward way to know exactly what your extended warranty is going to cost without speaking with the company and getting a quote. 

How much coverage you want will also change how much you pay — the more comprehensive the coverage, the more you will pay. 

Excluded Coverage

Before signing the dotted line, be sure to read through your contract thoroughly. Your contract may exclude coverage for things like the carburetor, thermostat, battery, battery cable harness/wire, shock absorbers, head gaskets, timing belts, glass, lenses, balance shafts, fuses, fuse boxes, LED lighting, coolants, fluids, filters and more.

I purchased a Concord Auto Protect plan for my husband's vehicle in 2023. I had read good things and while the price was a little high it seemed worth it. The sales person was helpful, professional, and courteous. In fact, when that vehicle was totaled a week later, they seamlessly let me just swap vehicles on my policy, for the one that we got to replace it. I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, the sales experience does not translate to the service experience. Per the contract, "claims are limited to being initiated by you, and not various repair facilities working on your vehicle". However, when I called in the claim, I was told the repair facility had to call it in. No one would even address that this violated the contract terms as written. When I tried to point out what the contract said, I was rudely told they didn't know how the contract was written, they just needed the repair shop to call it in. I got the repair shop to contact them, and the repair shop faxed over the information requested. This all started on 2/20. It is now 4/17. No one at Concord has responded. A rejection of the claim would have been disappointing enough, as the part is listed as covered. No response leaves me without any hope I will EVER have a covered repair. All the while our vehicle was in need of a repair that we are told was a safety issue. We had to address this issue. So, on top of the $2,300 I threw away on this worthless policy, I had to pay out thousands more on a repair that per the contract should be covered by this "investment" in piece of mind to protect against expensive future auto repairs. As I dig further and re-read other reviews it seems all the positive ones, like me, are based on the sales experience. Now I feel very foolish for being conned by them. I strongly recommend avoiding Concord Auto Protect. The only auto protection plans that ever seem to be worth it are the ones sold by new car dealerships, even on their used cars. I have never had an issue with one of those policies. All of the after-the-fact and used car lot plans seem to be like this one....not worth the paper they are written on.

I have had two claims covered by Concord Auto Protect over the past year. I cant complain because the car was repaired and the repairs were paid for... Overall nothing wrong with the warranty plan and the value is there for me. One claim was approved faster then the other but again it was approved so doesn't matter to me. It was hard to get a plan from any warranty company that was priced within what I can afford but Concord was there for me.

Super easy to get my repair done and to be able to use the warranty plan I got from Concord months ago. The repair needed had todo with my transmission which was a sensor only. Now it was a tricky repair according to the mechanic regardless I put him in touch with Concords agent. The repair needed was covered without any hassle I was told. I stand by Concord Auto Protect and their amazing customer service. Now when I had a repair they were there for me and assisted me with everything. The agent I spoke with was helpful and did everything he could with my situation. On a good note the repair I had done on my Jeep was in fact covered by the warranty plan and even the tow also. With my situation I can not complain about anything. I have been a customer of Concord for over a year now and this is my second warranty plan through them. With my first warranty plan through them for my old car I had no repairs "thankfully" and only had a lockout situation which was taken care of. Now with second warranty plan on my newer vehicle I had a minor issue with my cars cooling system I noticed on a very hot day recently here. So I reached out to both Concord and the mechanic and it did take a few days for my mechanic to diagnose it. But the labor and parts were covered by the plan. Concord made everything easy as possible for me, which is awesome of them.

I had one repair that was needed which was related to the transmission which gave out randomly. Now I have the premium plan which covered the tow for the car to the mechanic shop I have been going to for years. Once there the mechanic went through and it was in fact the transmission when I heard the news I put Concord and the place in touch which each other. The plan really did save me with a huge bill and Concord had zero issues covering the repairs that were needed to get me back on the road. Would recommend the car warranty program to friends and family. I have been happy with everything that the warranty plan offers. I have used the towing feature of the warranty plan to get my car to my local mechanic, there was no cost for me. I needed to get my transmission re-built or replaced at my mechanic shop after the tow hence that's why it broke down. But Concord assisted with everything more than enough, the value of the warranty program was great for me. The best purchase I made was the warranty plan from Concord Auto Protect, Thankfully I had the warranty plan when I had to repair my transmission.

We purchased the largest warranty plan concord offers to help give us the most coverage possible for our large purchase of a vehicle. The coverage has been excellent and we have had zero problems with it when we have used it. There has been two separate times where a repair was needed and it was paid for by Concord. I own a 2016 BMW M5 and had a large repair that was needed which was estimated to cost well over 4k. I think the plan does an excellent job covering my Jeep and all the aspects of the vehicle. The pricing was competitive and easily beat the other two companies I looked at. The staff at Concord have been amazing with everything I have needed from them with the sign up process to claims. I would recommend them to friends and family without a second thought. The amount of coverage I get for the price is excellent and easily worth the affordable price. I know I did some research and checked other companies prices but Concord offered the best deal for price to coverage. I personally think it's hard to go with another company because the customer service is not as good and they wanna charge more money for less coverage. I purchased the advanced plan from concord about three weeks ago. Now with concord the price was right within my budget and also more competitively priced than other companies I called up as well. I like the plan because it covers enough vehicle repair wise for me to be stress free plus the extras such as 24 hour roadside service and rental car was pretty nice bonuses. I like how the agent was not pushy and gave me more then enough time to think it over and make the purchase. Another company I phoned up was pushy and wanted an answer right away versus allowing me to think over such a long term purchase. Overall no complaints about concord and the staff here.

The agent at Concord helped me through the entire signing up process and was helpful when answering my questions that came up. I feel confident in the plan and feel like it was worth the money for a few reasons. The main reason I feel its worth the money is knowing if almost anything goes wrong I’m covered, its good peace of mind. I purchased the premium plan from concord auto protect for my 2019 Mercedes Benz E450 right after purchasing the vehicle. I have had Concords plan on a past vehicle and it was worth the money because of the repairs that were taken care of before. I purchased the car warranty for my Audi through Concord. I felt more comfortable with Concord because of the honesty the customer service had with me and the no pressure sale mentality. Other companies I called kept calling me and pushing me to buy a car warranty. Everything turned out great in the long run after being a customer of Concord Auto Protect for over a year already. I own a 2019 Acura RDX that was having some transmission issues such as shifting and then acceleration at speeds. I brought the suv into a local transmission shop which they were able to diagnosis and find the issue. I called up Concord and explained everything and put them in touch with the shop. I have been a customer of Concord for many years and cannot complain about anything. The customer service agents are always fantastic when it comes to claims or answering any concerns I have about my plan. I had a claim for my heating system on my car which was fully covered by them without any issues. My experience with Concord Auto Protect has been great thus far. Now I looked into many car warranty companies and almost all have there positive and negative reviews, as expected. But with Concord I felt more comfortable realizing some people were not being realistic after doing further research. The car warranty plans terms are easy to understand and clear as they can be for my self. I fully understand with my plan what I am covered and not, the customer service agent Michael did an excellent job explaining that. He has always been easy to reach any time and any day for any reason he has been there for me. I purchased a warranty plan from Concord Auto Protect about 7-8 months ago and it has paid for its self so far. It was the premium plan which Im happy I went with in the long run. My cars fuel system was having issues to the point the car was no longer able to run properly. I had it towed to the local mechanic shop I have been going to for years and they figured out the issue and gave me an estimate for labor & parts. I had them contact Concord and explain all of this to them as well and Concord approved me right on the spot and gave them a card over the phone without a single issue. I compared Concord to Endurance and found Concord to be preferable on all fronts. I worked with Robert C. and found him very helpful in explaining the premium coverage plan. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and didn't mind my inquisitive questions. I was most impressed that he called me when he said he would call. Very good follow-up. So far I am most impressed! Hope my car doesn't need to use too many repairs over the next 5 years or 75K miles- but if it does, I feel like I am in good hands.

Although I ended up purchasing an extended warranty from the dealer, due to my own procrastination in researching other available options, I did have a great experience during the quoting process with Concord. My representative, Morris, was extremely helpful and friendly from the first call. He quickly sent over the quote as promised and followed up to make sure I received it and to answer any questions. My favorite part of the experience with Concord, due to Morris’ “I’m here for you.” style, was there was never any pressure to make a decision to buy. His salesmanship and customer service was just what I needed as car buying can be stressful enough on its own. In hindsight, I should have researched my extended warranty options further in advance of my purchase. I hope Morris and Concord continue this approach with all of their customers. Morris, I’ll see you on my next purchase!

HORRIBLE ORDEAL! wouldn’t pay for my water pump leak because my TIRES were a size off. They barely responded to emails. I had to keep them on the phone to verify that I received an email because if they said they would send it, it never was done. I was told for WEEKS, each day I called that it would be approved. A bunch of liars and scammers. Paid $1,700 for a bunch of nonsense. It took them an entire month with TWO INSPECTIONS to deny my claim because the tires were different than the manufacture.

They bribed me too take down my review and failed too fix my car as promised. My first repair was a six hour labor job, rack and pinoin. It wasn't finished for five weeks due to Concord. Second repair, alternator. Took two weeks without my car.. Third repair, the alternator they sent failed. It sitting in the dealership for the past eight plus weeks, and they still won't let the dealer fix it. The part hasn't arrived yet, 8 weeks so far. I'm still waiting for parts from Concord. They seem to always buy the cheapest parts available. Buy the way, I told them what the problem was. As I was an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, they had me pay the dealer to diagnose it anyway. They didn't believe me. They don't care about their customer's needs. Every time I call, they put me back on hold and hang up on me. It's not worth buying insurance from this company.

The entire claim process has been quick and easy for me. I have owned the warranty plan for a little over a year already. I needed a repair and got in touch with Concords staff and it was taken care of. Repair was covered and vehicle was fixed. Not really much else to say everything was just simple and stress free.
