I rented a jeep. Took it out to big bear lake. It got dirty. That's why there is a cleaning fee right? There were a few scratches on one of the black freedom panels. This just scrapes right off. Very delicate. I had the vehicle for 3 days. Drove it 700 miles. Cost me ~1k after all the extra nickle and dime fees they charged. Never again will I rent using Turo.

I honestly don’t think there any other company in existence that I hate as much as turo. No rhyme or reason to decisions. Took two years trying to rent a car from them. No luck. Customer care had no answer or reasoning. I watched someone sign up and get approved in front of me. Customer care stopped responding and just say they couldn’t do it. They wouldn’t even try to help just didn’t respond

Turo is convenient & it's a good app to use in an emergency, however the fact that I only get a few miles on a 4 day trip is very inconvenient. I'm dissatisfied with the fact that I have to pay almost 200 for my current trip because they only gave me 300 miles on a 4day trip which is very stupid.

Shoot, I have rented a Ford Mustang for 75 for only 1 hour!!! And app didn't tell me anything about that, it was automatically! So when you rent a car make sure that you choose time correctly. Even if you accidentally rent a car for only 1 hour, you will pay as if you rented it for 1 day. I got lucky that the person I rented from was a good person and gave me time to do my things. The whole idea of the app is good. But the app itself is crap. And these guys should start listening to their users, or the will lose them.

It’s good that Turo provides insurance with every rental and roadside assistance but it’s extremely unclear of how you can use those services offered. Also, since this is an individual person’s car they can always frame you and tell you you damaged the vehicle especially because turo doesn’t Require car owner to post pictures of vehicles right when it’s returned, they give them 24 hours in which anything can happen and turo user can be liable for. I wouldn’t use it again.

I really liked my vendor, but was not happy that I spent an additional $100 in fees. Between the car insurance fee ,the platform fee and over millage fee. For a one day rental that was very excessive.

Y’all had me messed up. It took forever to get a call back from the escalation team. The experience show definitely be more flexible when it comes to pick up time. I shouldn’t be waiting around all day for a call back . We should definitely be beyond that.

This is just one of many other “bad customer service” reviews that Turo already has ( I was not aware they had so many prior to writing this). They seem to be unwilling to help you out in certain scenarios and they can be outright disrespectful in others. I’m not gonna go into details as to what happened to me, but I gave every chance for Turo to make up for a sneaky host that I unfortunately chose a car from, and they were just as bad as the host, so I urge you to stay clear of Turo for your own sake.
