Linx Legal has over 80 years of combined experience in the legal and timeshare contract industry and has been in business for more than 10 years. In addition to helping clients terminate timeshare contracts, Linx Legal has also successfully negotiated refunds for many of its clients. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). In addition to canceling timeshares, Linx Legal’s aim is to educate consumers about the possible pitfalls of a timeshare purchase.

When asked by a customer whether or not buying a timeshare is a worthwhile investment, Linx Legal’s answer is almost always no. This may seem counterintuitive to its business model since it is in the timeshare industry, but a large part of its job is to educate consumers. The sad truth is that people still continue to purchase timeshares without full consideration of the risks, opportunities, costs, and usefulness of the contract, and therefore still need Linx Legal’s help in getting out of timeshares.

Fair Costs

Linx Legal is dedicated to helping clients alleviate timeshare debt. The company is not a law firm, yet does use a select few attorneys when necessary. Due to the company’s knowledge and experience, attorneys are mostly not needed; but if it does become essential for legal assistance, Linx Legal will pay the attorney’s fees. The goal at Linx Legal is to help clients save money, so services are provided with this in mind.

Wide Coverage

Linx Legal covers the entire United States and has three physical offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, Myrtle Beach, Florida, and Scottsdale, Arizona. The company offers at-home consultations and you can visit the offices at the stated nationwide locations. Online assessments are available as well for prospective clients.

Linx Legal has few reviews over numerous sites, and the feedback is a mix of negative and positive. Linx Legal started in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2017 that the company received its rating from the BBB. Normally, customer-facing businesses receive ratings and recognition sooner.

Picks and Chooses Clients

Linx Legal does not accept every request for service. The company provides an assessment to evaluate a claim and then proceeds if there's a consensus that it is a viable option. Only choosing clients the company knows it's able to help may be interpreted as unfair. An experienced organization should be able to take any case and try to solve it.

Linx Legal's website does not give the option of a live chat with a representative. This is not as convenient as many other competitors' websites. Stephanie U. and Linx Legal were such at tremendous help to us. We had been duped into signing up for a timeshare while on vacation. Wyndham Vacations promised us the moon. But they were unable to deliver. They also refused to cancel our contract or refund our money. We were stuck paying for a worthless (to us) timeshare and even though we never even used it to go anywhere. We felt stupid, powerless and ashamed. But Linx Legal changed all that. By following Stephanie's sage advice in a little under a year we were able to get out of our contract with Wyndham. We will be forever grateful to Linx Legal and their amazing Staff.

Representatives from Linx Legal were courteous and patient in helping us get out from under the timeshare we were paying on and now can no longer afford. From our initial call to them, that representative, Chris, explained who they were and how they might be able to help, but was clear on the possibility that they might not. There was no pressure to move forward and no discussion about costs. We then had a representative, Nick, who came to our home in rural Tennessee and spent several hours discussing our situation and reasons we needed to get this expensive and useless-to-us timeshare off our hands. He reviewed the cost structure and got approval to move us forward as Linx Legal believed we had enough proof of bad-businesslike practices that the timeshare engaged in with us including the high-pressure tactics, that our contract could very likely be cancelled. Then our ongoing representative, Stephanie, was an excellent communicator on when and how we needed to manage this exit. She supported our written statement, provided quick responses when we had questions and assured us when the "offer" of a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure came that this was the best of cancellation options with this timeshare operator. With Linx Legal's assistance and diligence in follow-ups, we are now confirmed as Deed-in-Lieu of Foreclosure process with our timeshare operator. This is a tremendous relief for us. We appreciate Linx Legal's honesty and consistent communication throughout the process. The price we paid them was well-worth having this albatross off our minds.

I’m so very thankful to Donna P. and her team at Linx Legal for helping me exit my timeshare. After nearly 6 long years, I can officially say I’m out of my contract. It has been closed and removed from my account thanks to all the advocacy from Donna P. She took on my case like it was her own and was instrumental in explaining the process to me. I worked with another agent before and our personalities didn’t line up. Now I know that stress can make your emotions go haywire so that didn’t help, but once Donna personally took on my account I felt confident my case was in good times. The wait was not easy at all. There were times I even stated I wanted out because I felt it was a lost cause, but my timeshare was with Wyndham which is not an easy one to escape, so it took even longer. Then add COVID to the mix, it just drug the process on that much more. But needless to say, patience was a virtue and the waiting paid off. I am now free and clear of my contract and any associated fees. My contract is no longer under my name and will not carry on to my family. Thank you so much Donna for keeping your promise and for your patience with me as well. God bless! This is a big cause for celebration!

We contacted Linx Legal to assist us with getting out of our overrated, overpriced timeshare with Hilton. They came to our home, reviewed our case, and immediately got to work. We dealt with Matt H, who advised us how to protect our credit during this battle and handled all communication with Hilton. We did not have to deal with any collection calls or any emails or letters we received. We just took a picture, forwarded it to him and that was it! He kept us in the loop on where things stood throughout the process. He answered questions and responded quickly to all our concerns. We never had to worry about "dealing with the Devil" ourselves.
