Linx Legal has few reviews over numerous sites, and the feedback is a mix of negative and positive. Linx Legal started in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2017 that the company received its rating from the BBB. Normally, customer-facing businesses receive ratings and recognition sooner.

Picks and Chooses Clients

Linx Legal does not accept every request for service. The company provides an assessment to evaluate a claim and then proceeds if there's a consensus that it is a viable option. Only choosing clients the company knows it's able to help may be interpreted as unfair. An experienced organization should be able to take any case and try to solve it.

Linx Legal's website does not give the option of a live chat with a representative. This is not as convenient as many other competitors' websites. We contacted Linx Legal to assist us with getting out of our overrated, overpriced timeshare with Hilton. They came to our home, reviewed our case, and immediately got to work. We dealt with Matt H, who advised us how to protect our credit during this battle and handled all communication with Hilton. We did not have to deal with any collection calls or any emails or letters we received. We just took a picture, forwarded it to him and that was it! He kept us in the loop on where things stood throughout the process. He answered questions and responded quickly to all our concerns. We never had to worry about "dealing with the Devil" ourselves. We are now free from this debt and have learned not to sign ANYTHING that we're not allowed time to read. The team at Linx Legal showed us where Hilton had statements in their contract stating that we would be paying over 100% interest on the loan! Nobody mentioned that during the presentation. (Wonder why?) Thank you, Linx Legal, for helping us get away from this huge financial burden. Thank you for handling all the dirty details for us. Matt H at Linx Legal did a tremendous job in helping me terminate a timeshare that I had never been able to use. He was thorough and very responsive and the process took less time than I expected. Ironically, soon after the final papers were signed ending this nightmare, I received a bill for the annual maintenance fee with a 16% increase over last year. Nothing felt better than ripping up the bill and throwing it in the trash. Linx Legal made the process virtually painless - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I was struggling financially, and had a timeshare that I could hardly use. I had no idea you could rent these things so cheaply. I feel like Wyndham took advantage of me. Linx Legal was able to help me get a full cancellation of my timeshare. I listened to and followed how they did things, and I was out of the contract in a little under a year. I was in contact with my case manager the entire time, and he kept me updated as things moved along. Their customer service was a huge plus, and I'm very satisfied with the service.

Bought a timeshare thinking we could make money from it. We were lied to about a lot of crap. We didnt know we had to pay maintenance fees every year, and we bought enough points to only get 2 nights a year. These con artist ripped me and my wife off.
